Hearing his requirent, the director broke into a sweat from being nervous. He didn’t expect that they would want to et the leading actresses and actors. He stamred, "Both of the leading actresses are sick today....only the actors are here."
Stuart looked towards the director. His eyes grew calm, and his knitted brow relaxed. Stuart glared at the director as if he knew what was going through his mind. He was staring at him so intensely that it made him feel very nervous.
He glanced at his watch and swallowed before answering, and the director said, "What about asking Charles and Rock?" Stuart didn’t answer. Charles and Rock really weren’t qualified to see him." Wilfred’s words lowered his position.
Suddenly, the atmosphere began to change, and everything went silent. Jason smiled, breaking the silence, "Where is the movie queen? I haven’t seen her before. Would you mind introducing her to us?"
The director was lost. He was faced with an uncomfortable situation and had no idea how to handle it. He threw an eye on the producer. Imdiately, the producer walked towards them, "Mr. Williams, it would be an honor for Queenie, but pitifully Queenie isn’t feeling well today. She is resting in her room."
Fifi cried out, "What’s wrong, Todd?" Everyone looked at Todd and said him pushing Fifi away. His smile froze. She didn’t know what she did, and she threw herself into his arms, "Todd, why are you so an to ?" This was not like Todd. He looked impatient and pushed her away again, "Leave alone."
She was so embarrassed by him doing such a thing in front of a crowd; she controlled her anger and stopped. Todd asked, pretending to be casual, "Is it severe, the leading actress I an. Is she going to be okay?"
The producer thought Todd must have been one of her fans. So, he answered, "No, not at all. Just a headache. She will be fine, and she will be here tomorrow to et with you."
Todd Placed his hands on his legs and held his fist tightly. Putting his eyes on Todd, Stuart said, "Co on, ti to go to the chateau." There were two places in the Villa that were not allowed to be used by the crew. Today, the director finally knew the reason. They were prepared for Stuart Yates.
It was rare for the director and the producer to see such an important and influential people. They didn’t want them to leave. This would be a waste of resources.
If they were to approach Mr. Yates, then maybe they could seize the opportunity and make so kind of business arrangent with him. The producer stopped Stuart abruptly, "Mr. Yates. You rarely co here; how about having dinner with us? My treat, Would you mind?"
Stuart looked at them, and Jason started to laugh. "You are rushing things. We are here on vacation, not for business." Failed and ridiculed, the producer felt angry inside. He bowed and said, "My apologies."
Stuart waved his hands, "Do what you need to do. We are going to unpack our things."
The director indeed didn’t dare to keep them. Pulling the producer’s sleeve, he asked all the staff to go back to the shooting spot. After they were far away, the director said in a low voice, "These guys really have a temper."
"This is nothing. With peerage authorized by the Queen and economic lifelines in hands, they are far beyond our reach," the producer explained, "They have more than money. Last ti, it took our mayor about two weeks to invite him to dinner. People like us can’t even get in touch with his secretary."
"Then what should we do? They don’t respect our feelings, should we do nothing?"
Rolling his eyes, the producer said in a low voice, "What about Queenie? I can tell that Todd is interested in her." Hearing his words, the director was shocked, "What are you talking about? That’s a dirty thing to do to her."
It was no surprise that the director reacted in this way. He had seen a lot in the movie industry. When actresses got into affairs with the second-generation rich, it wasn’t right.
"I didn’t an anything by it. Queenie is the movie queen. What could I do to her? I just think Todd is one of her fans, and we can introduce them. If they like each other, who knows."
The director was lost in thought. The producer continued, "Think about it. We have only one chance here. If we miss this one, there won’t be another one. It won’t hurt Queenie if we introduce her to him. It could be a good chance for her."
Falling into silence, the director heard the crew shouting, "Director Lane, are you ready to continue?"
"Yes, I am ready." The director ordered, lowering his voice, "Let think about it."
Todd didn’t look well, "I want to go back to the chateau" Then, he got in the car and left, leaving Fifi alone. Fiji was stunned. It was impossible for her to wander in such a Villa with an area of tens of thousands of acres.
She looked at Stuart and Jason. She had learned from her past experience that she didn’t dare to ask Stuart. She fixed her eyes on Jason, and she said in a sympathetic voice, "Mr. Williams."
Taking a glance at her, Jason didn’t want to help her, but she was Todd’s girl. "Wait in my car, and I will drive you back." Fifi got in the car imdiately, without daring to say one more word. Looking back at her, Jason burst into laughter, "Todd says he cares about his won, but I never expected that he would leave his woman alone in a place like this."
Squinting, Stuart recalled sothing, "In that year...." Jason shook his head, "Even you don’t know the details, not to ntion , but I feel as though it didn’t end. Forget about it; let him handle it. Let’s go back to the chateau?"
"I still have sothing to do. You can go without ."
Jason was confused and asked, "’ what? business?"
With a beam of light shining in his eyes, "A little cat played too happily outside on his return back. I have to teach it a lesson."
