Edie didn’t make any sound. She felt so bitter at the throat. She felt so painful.
Hearing these words, Stuart placed his hands on her small hands to protect her from the coldness.
Then he opened his mouth and said with determination,

Stuart said he would not let her die.
So... he would die.
