Out of the door, Ashley kept knocking on the door so loudly that the neighbors shouted at her to ask her to stop.
"I want to see my daughter. You should shut up."
"It is night. We are all sleeping. If you dare to make that noise, I would call the police."
"Oh. Okay. But I can tell you. My daughter is a famous editor. She could handle everything. Unlike you, you can only call the police. You might need to stay in such an awful place for a whole life."

As their quarrel got heater outside, even Jason was staying with her, and Scarlet still felt so fearful.
"Let handle this," Jason was worried about her. He didn’t want her to be upset.
Scarlet imdiately wiped her tears and shook her head, "No. You don’t know her. Let handle this."
"Could you?" Jason asked her in a worried voice.
She nodded, "Don’t worry. I am strong. Don’t you rember? No one could beat down."
She raised a smile at the corner of her mouth and wiped the tears away. Then she opened the door.
At the mont Ashley saw Scarlet opened the door, she smiled with joy. She imdiately said in a loud voice, "My daughter already opened the door. I have sothing to do now. I wouldn’t waste my precious ti with your scam."
Then, she wanted to step into the house. But Scarlet stopped her imdiately.
She got confused, "Scarlet, what happened? Do you really want to stay outside? I couldn’t even walk into your room now?"
"This house is my father’s. If he knew you were in his house, he might rush here and break your legs now. Do you believe it?"
Scarlet said these words in a cold voice. Her voice sounded really flat, without any emotion at the mont.
Hearing these words, Ashley’s face turned pale imdiately. Apparently, she was frightened. She was scared of Jeff.
When she cheated on Jeff, all their neighbors laughed at him. He was so angry. Even now, he could not forgive such a bitch.
If she entered his house now, he would definitely hit her if he knew.
Ashley held her feet back and made an embarrassing smile, "Okay, then. We can talk here. I don’t mind talking here, actually."

Scarlet said in a cold voice. At the mont, she finally expressed her brutality.

Hearing her words, Ashley froze for a while. She didn’t believe what Scarlet’s said.
She stared at her daughter.
Actually, her daughter looked like her. Scarlet was even more beautiful and charming than her. But when Scarlet sneered at her at the mont, she looked so cold.
Ashley frowned. Though she knew she’s wrong, she didn’t want to give up. It’s been more than twenty years since she left Scarlet. Even though she was Scarlet’s mother, and she had beco another’s wife and mother. Scarlet seldom had anything to do with her now. It was her own responsibility to handle her own stuff by herself.
However, she didn’t want to give up. She knew Scarlet could earn more money. If she didn’t ask more from her, she would give all money to her father, that gambler.
Therefore, she was determined.
"Scarlet, listen to . I don’t an that. I have no other choice. See, you look so fabulous now. You have such a good life. Look at your mother. Compared with you, I am really...."

Ashley couldn’t find a word to answer this question imdiately.
Scarlet continued in a cold voice, "You betrayed my dad. I totally understood you. My father is totally a loser. He was addicted to alcohol and gambling. It was totally reasonable for you to leave him. But you dared to cheat on her. When my dad abandoned , you didn’t want to take with you. It is my grandmother that raised up."

The sound was so large that it almost deafened ears.
At the mont the door was closed, she imdiately fell down. Her back slipped down along the door.
Jason didn’t say a word to her. He just held her in his arms tightly.
"Why....why do they do this to ? Why?"
"Scarlet, I want to tell you, I would never hurt you, no matter what they do to you. I would try my best to look after you. I would heal you one day."
Jason said word by word, in a determined voice.
He held her in her arms tightly, until the next morning.
They still needed to move on.
Scarlet was much stronger than Jason has expected. After crying for a whole night, Scarlet recovered to normal totally. She didn’t ntion what happened last night anymore.
After they ate breakfast, they drove to the building of Hawk dia. Then they said goodbye to each other.

If her eyes didn’t get swallowed, no one would know she’s been crying for a whole night.

When Jason started the engine, he suddenly saw a woman getting in his way,
Jason imdiately stepped on the brake pedal.
He was so shocked.
The woman was about fifty years old. He still rembered her. She was Scarlet’s mother, Ashley.
Though it was dark outside last night, he still saw the outline of this woman.
"Mrs. Yvette?" seeing this woman, Jason frowned slightly.
