Hua Ling’s smile faded, and he nodded seriously, "There really is. It was after I t Zhan Sheng."
"Hmm?"
"It was that ti he nearly got beaten to death saving . Back then, I hated myself for not being skilled enough, and I hated myself for dragging him into it. You don’t know, that was the first ti I felt so sad, and also the first ti I felt powerless. But fortunately, he was treated later, then he had another accident! When I thought he was dead, I finally found him, but now he’s in trouble again! Damn, how unlucky can this guy be? I’ve never t anyone more unfortunate than him!" Hua Ling said angrily, with a kind of resentnt against fate.
Yan Zhufei agreed with him, "He really is unlucky enough, I’ve never seen anyone with more misfortune than him."
"Yeah, why is he so unlucky, he’s not a bad person. Sotis I wonder why there are such lucky people like , and such unlucky people like him. It would be great if fate were a bit fairer, I’d actually be willing to share so of my luck with him."
Yan Zhufei’s eyes flickered, "Maybe so people are so unlucky to ensure others stay lucky."
Hua Ling was stunned, hesitantly saying, "You an, his misfortune is all because of ?"
"At least that’s part of the reason, wasn’t he in trouble several tis saving you?"
Hua Ling was frozen, oh right!
Although Zhan Sheng’s first accident had nothing to do with him, all the subsequent incidents happened because he was saving him.
Hua Ling felt extrely painful and guilty, "So that’s where my luck cos from..."
Yan Zhufei patted him on the shoulder, "Don’t bla yourself, it’s because you saved him that you got these returns. If you hadn’t saved him back then, he might have already died. So you did have good intentions and got good results."
"How is this good results, Zhan Sheng has beco so unfortunate. If I could, I’d rather not have such returns. I, Hua Ling, am a man, I can handle whatever happens myself, I don’t need him to help bear it!" Hua Ling said discontentedly.
"You’re helping him now too. Alright, don’t think too much, everything will get better in the future." Yan Zhufei stood up, then couldn’t help but pinch his face, "But I think, Zhan Sheng must be willing in his heart, people like you really ought to be protected. Actually, a carefree life suits you."
Saying that, Yan Zhufei smiled and walked away.
Hua Ling didn’t know what he was thinking about, he seed a bit dazed.
Is soone like him really supposed to be carefree?
But his luck is based on other people’s misfortune, he doesn’t want such luck...
Hua Ling stared dazedly at the distant beach without knowing that Zhan Sheng had been standing by the window in the research lab behind him watching.
He had heard all their previous conversation.
He very much agreed with Yan Zhufei’s words, that soone like Hua Ling should be lucky, carefree.
His life doesn’t need adversity and pain; others can bear it for him.
Zhan Sheng lowered his eyes to hide his emotions, turned around and walked to the lab table, raising his hand to slowly unbutton his shirt. Soon, he revealed his robust, yet scarred torso.
On his left shoulder, there was also a small scar.
Zhan Sheng took a scalpel and cut into that scar...
The sharp scalpel instantly cut his skin, and blood gushed out!
