Gu Shaocheng didn’t follow them inside, but instead, he walked out of the Canadian camp and strolled around in the rain.
Was this the place where his woman had lived for eight months?

Gu Shaocheng stopped fifty ters away, suddenly saw two rescue team vehicles coming back. If he guessed right, they would be dical team vehicles, with the characteristic hospital cross symbol affixed on them.
Was Chenxing in one of those rescue vehicles?
Gu Shaocheng slightly furrowed his eyebrows, swallowed by a surge of suppressed excitent and bitterness. Unforeseen incidents, abruptly ended relationships, and unclear futures enveloped him in a whirl of chaotic thoughts. He sighed deeply.
His hand clenched beneath his sleeve.
There was no need to rush. He wanted to avoid startling her. A sense of certainty slowly erged amidst his tumultuous thoughts.
She can’t escape him.
He returned to the Canadian area. As he was walking, he suddenly heard soone yelling.
"Where’s Li Xiao? Call him to transport supplies, where has he run off to?"
"I haven’t seen him either, can’t find him or the car anywhere."
Soone shouted, "Is there no discipline anymore!? The disaster-stricken people’s goods are waiting to be transported, yet he’s playing truant with the vehicles. Does he want to be punished?"
"I think I saw Chenxing stopping his car about an hour ago, and then they drove off together."
"Chenxing? Which Chenxing?"
Gu Shaocheng normally wouldn’t pay attention to such matters, but he suddenly heard the na he had been constantly obsessing over. He paused and turned around just in ti to hear soone saying, "The Eastern woman from the Arican area, nobody knows where she went off to."
He soon found out what was going on.
Because people in a nearby village were injured, Chenxing ca for help. But, the dical team was exceptionally busy today and couldn’t spare a vehicle. Seeing Li Xiao’s vehicle, she caught hold of it and both of them left together.

Gu Shaocheng walked swiftly, an intense coldness seeping from his calm facade. He suddenly grabbed Yan Fengchi by the collar: "Where’s the plane?"
"Commander Xu borrowed it. A nearby village has been flooded and a massive amount of victims need to be relocated. Their vehicles aren’t enough, and our plane was idle, so we just lent it to them."
Yan Fengchi felt sullen. His boss was glaring at him as though he wanted to kill him, but the troops needed it and they didn’t need it urgently, so it seed only natural for him to lend it out.
"Get a vehicle imdiately!" How can Chenxing be in so unknown village at such a ti? What if sothing happens?
In his mory, his woman was a fragile girl who seed like she could shatter at any mont. Upon hearing she had gone to a nearby village to fetch the wounded, he was filled with anxiety. He wanted to fly over in his plane to look for her. But now the plane was gone; how could he not be infuriated?
"We’re running short on vehicles, where should I find you one from?"
"You really deserve a beating!" Gu Shaocheng scoffed, fuming!
