They remained like that for a brief mont, frozen. Then Wise carefully pushed her away, discreetly shifting his hand from her chest to her shoulder.
But Caesar seed completely out of it, still trapped in the shock of what had just happened. Her body went limp as she collapsed into Wise's arms.
"Caesar, are you alright?" Wise asked, his voice filled with concern as he looked down at her.
Just now, his lips had only brushed against hers. There had been no further reaction from his physique's effects.
Still, he couldn't help but worry—even sothing like that might cause trouble. After all, although this place was usually deserted, it was almost ti for dinner.
If sothing happened now and Lucy or Piper ca looking for them, the situation would definitely turn awkward.
