The giant dragons, after all, knew far too little about Ye Yinzhu; it was inconceivable to them that the Dragon Bones were controlled by Ye Yinzhu, especially since the Dragon Bones had not appeared when Ye Yinzhu arrived.
Yet upon their appearance, their first target was the enemies of the giant dragons.
Seated within the Zither Emperor, Oliveira clearly grasped the mindset of the giant dragons at that moment, and through the Amplification Formation of the Zither Emperor, his voice quickly spread out.
“Facing formidable enemies, when we cannot hold our ground, the ancestors of the Dragon Clan descend upon the earth with their mightiest power, protecting their own descendants.
Warriors of the Dragon Clan, would you still stand by and watch your ancestors struggle alone?”
His simple sentence pletely altered the significance of the Undying Legion of Demon Dragon’s appearance.
Such quick thinking alone was enough to match Oliveira’s status in Qin City.
The impassioned voice, to say nothing of the giant dragons outside, even made Li Sha inside the Zither Emperor somewhat believe Oliveira was correct.
Though she knew Ye Yinzhu possessed the ability to use Undead Magic, could one person control so many from the Dragon Clan at once?
Her expression unconsciously relaxed, and the anger in her heart lessened a great deal.
A faint glimmer flickered, and enormous waves of energy surged, as the giant dragons’ will to fight soared to an unprecedented intensity since joining Qin City, with immense magical light flaring up from each giant dragon.
The bodies of the Dragon Clan can be said to be the most formidable among all creatures on the continent, at least in terms of their heritage.
The potential of such large and powerful bodies is naturally inparable.
With their will to fight fully ignited and strong convictions making them forget their own pain, two hundred dragon roars pierced through the sky at once.
Along with their knights, carrying the burning rage and reverence for their ancestors, the giant dragons burst forth with overwhelming momentum.
They even abandoned protecting the Zither Emperor, following the Dragon Bones and charging towards the enemy.
Ye Yinzhu naturally heard Oliveira’s voice and a trace of a smile crossed his face, knowing that the trouble that should have arisen had been resolved.
The scales of victory in today’s battle finally tipped towards Qin City.
The remaining Faran Air Force stood no chance against the Undying Legion of Demon Dragon as it was.
Although the magic bestowed upon them was effective, it could not play its proper role in direct bat with the mighty Dragon Bones, let alone considering that the magic of the Dragon Bones was not weaker than in their previous life.
The magic waves generated by the Dragon Bones formed an invisible net, enveloping the Faran Air Force and preventing the Faran Mages below from casting support magic on them.
The battle in the sky turned one-sided in an instant.
With over a thousand Dragon Bones and two hundred giant dragons at full force, they were unstoppable for the Faran knights.
Even though dozens of Zi rank Powerhouses were leading at the front.
But they faced a colossal legion led by none other than the Dragon Bones of the previous generation’s Seven Dragon Kings.
The entire Faran Air Force retreated rapidly, and their casualties soared.
They were on the verge of collapse.
Sloan’s face had gone extremely sour; the changes in the sky had not yet impacted the ground, but the morale of both sides was pletely reversed.
He knew that once the Air Force broke, and Qin City’s air force joined the ground battle, relying on the powerful Dragon Clan legions, it would be hard for Faran to seek any advantage today, let alone destroy Qin City.
Qin City, possessing such formidable power, what a Ye Yinzhu, what a teacher Phil Jackson—a realization dawned on him that he had underestimated them!
Sloan’s eyes flickered, already harboring thoughts of retreat.
Although he knew that Ye Yinzhu’s current strength was probably no match for him, it would be anything but easy to kill a Ye Yinzhu equipped with a Super Divine Artefact here.
As Sloan hesitated, two cheerful cries rang out from below.
Gold and silver light intermingled and shot upwards, streaking towards Ye Yinzhu like lightning.
A gentle smile appeared on Ye Yinzhu’s face as he felt that strong affinity.
He opened himself up, extending his arms to either side of his body.
Gold and silver light converged, and suddenly, two vast wings materialized behind him, with visible Magic Elements rapidly flowing towards his body.
In some ways, Shan and Lei’s abilities closely resembled the Divine Source Magic Robe.
However, while the Divine Source Magic Robe requires the Mage to passively absorb the Magic Elements from the air through guided mana, Shan and Lei actively absorbed and transformed the Magic Elements from the air, transferring them to Ye Yinzhu.
Ye Yinzhu had even once suspected that Shan, Lei, and the Divine Source Magic Robe were somehow connected.
Unfortunately, he found no evidence to prove it.
The greatest similarity shared by both was the purity of the non-elementals, which harmonized uniquely with his Original Force and was the best supplement for him.
With Shan, Lei, and the Divine Source Magic Robe plementing each other, upon assuming the form of wings, Ye Yinzhu was essentially equipped with a Super Divine Artefact capable of replenishing his own energy.
While his own power may not match Sloan’s, when it es to equipment, when has Qin City ever fallen behind?
A faint glimmer shone, and a vast aura of energy emanated from Ye Yinzhu.
The lingering tones of the Super Divine Artefact Deadwood Dragon Chanting Zither filled the air.
As his eight fingers once again touched the strings, the melody instantly shifted.
The bone dragons in the sky no longer required Ye Yinzhu to control them.
With his current strength, his mastery of Undead Magic had reached a divine level.
Once he issued an order to his controlled undead creatures, unless the mand was changed, they no longer needed continuous direction.
Those bone dragons could rely on instinct to fight until the Faran Air Force was utterly annihilated.
The desire to retreat grew even stronger in Sloan’s heart.
His body began to slowly back away, but the concentration of Magic Elements he radiated became even more intense.
He was confident that if he wanted to leave, no one here could stop him.
Thick magic light poured from the magic wand in his hands, not to attack but as a specialized method of issuing mands unique to Faran.
The Faran Air Force stopped resisting immediately in the air.
The remnants of the Pegasus Knights and Magic Eagle Knights accelerated together, fleeing towards the distance.
Behind them, the Legion of Giant Dragon Knights and the Undying Legion of Demon Dragon chased manically.
At this point, the numbers in Faran’s two air cavalry legions had been reduced to around six thousand.
Their bat power was entirely insufficient to withstand the might of Qin City.
As Sloan issued his mands, gentle zither music arose simultaneously.
There is a saying that one should not pursue a desperate enemy, and moreover, the main battlefield’s issues had not yet been resolved.
The Undying Legion of Demon Dragon instantly shifted its attack targets.
The collective group formed a stunning arc in the sky and, led by the seven Dragon Bone Kings, dove straight towards the ground, charging towards the Faran knights from the rear.
What must be understood is that each knight at the rear of the Faran knights carried a mage on their back.
This was where the key strength of the Faran Army lay.
At the same time, a dark blue torrent surged diagonally out from the Burna Mountain Range, their charge silent and swift.
Yet, in an instant, they had reached a terrifying speed.
This dark blue flood consisted of only three hundred individuals, but their presence on the battlefield immediately permeated the air with an intense odor of death and blood.
Even a Ninth Rank Demon Beast would tremble at the scent.
The Grim Reaper Dragon Wolf Cavalry of Qin City’s three great legions had finally appeared at this critical moment.
Ye Hongyan had always been lying in wait, biding his time for an opportunity.
In terms of individual bat capability, the knights of Faran’s Paladin Division were not much inferior to the Grim Reaper Dragon Wolf Cavalry; they too had rank seven Magical Beasts as mounts.
However, in terms of actual bat ability, they were far less petent than the Grim Reaper Dragon Wolf Cavalry.
The Grim Reaper Dragon Wolf Cavalry had literally crawled out from piles of corpses.
In all of Qin City’s military formations, no legion dared to claim they had killed more than them.
The tremendous murderous intent these iron-blooded warriors possessed had bee their strongest force.
The Power of Divine Judgement they had once unleashed was the best proof of their might.
The charging location of the Grim Reaper Dragon Wolf Cavalry was extremely accurate, targeting the gaps between the various Faran legions, specifically between the forward legions without mages and the central position of the rear Faran legions with mages.
Almost in coordination with the Undying Demon Dragon Knights in the sky, they pletely isolated the rear Faran knights.
Sloan’s order was not only for the sky but also for the ground.
It was an order for full retreat.
This time, Sloan had brought six out of the total twelve Faran Knight Groups, along with three thousand Blue rank Mages, equivalent to a third of Faran’s entire bat capability.
Such a formidable force still failed to destroy Qin City, not even achieving a devastating effect.
In that moment, Sloan was considering how to minimize losses.
Should the Faran Army suffer too heavily, he would not be able to justify it to the other six Tower Masters after returning, and it would be even harder to obliterate Qin City with a subsequent campaign.(To be continued.
