Lin Tian suddenly roared to the sky, like an ancient beast bellowing, like a Tiger Roar or a Dragon’s Chant. A fierce montum and power erupted from deep within his body, and an invisible force field pushed Charlotte and Zhang Lingyu continually backward.
The eyes of both won revealed shock; Lin Tian’s sudden outburst was terrifying, resembling mountains of corpses and seas of blood, like raging waves, like a Demon God erging from ancient tis!
And when they saw Lin Tian’s current appearance, the astonished look on their faces further expanded, whether it was the experienced Zhang Lingyu or the icy-cold Charlotte. They were utterly shocked.
Lin Tian’s eyes were no longer black but rendered in a ghostly blue, and a sharp zombie fang protruded from his mouth. Lin Tian finally revealed his true form, unafraid of being hunted by Zhang Lingyu, unafraid of any consequences.
He only knew that, at this mont, he must rescue the Second Miss, not just because of a promise but because the thought of the Second Miss fading into oblivion cut his heart like a knife.
"Lin Tian, you..." Zhang Lingyu stared dazedly at Lin Tian, unable to speak, her eyes filled with a complex expression like twisted threads.

"Why? Why does it have to be you!" Zhang Lingyu suppressed her emotions as she spoke, and with a whoosh, she pulled out the Demon-suppressing Whip from her waist, pointing at Lin Tian from afar, her intent clear: he was her target for slaying demons and eradicating devils.
But for so reason, her eyes stung with the threat of tears.
As the situation grew more complicated, sothing suddenly fell from the sky, right in front of Lin Tian. He quickly reached out to catch it, finding it to be Charlotte’s Ghost Claw Dagger, which had slipped from her hand when repelled by the force field, the Soul-devouring Blade.
Grabbing the Soul-devouring Blade, Lin Tian unhesitatingly shot it into the sky, striking the blood-colored barrier overhead. The dagger lodged into the barrier, opening a half-ter-sized hole. He was right; the Soul-devouring Blade was indeed the key to the barrier.
"Whether you kill or not, get out imdiately and save the Xiao Family sisters. You can kill later." Lin Tian said in a low voice.
"Think you can leave? If any of you dare move a step, I will shatter Lin Tian’s heart imdiately. I wonder if a zombie from Huaxia will die without a heart?" Charlotte sneered.
She reached toward the Soul-devouring Blade in Lin Tian’s chest, and blood-red mist emanated from her palm. The dagger reacted, the Ghost Claw squirming, wanting to penetrate Lin Tian’s body further.
Lin Tian felt an excruciating pain, nearly unable to stand, but he gritted his teeth and flashed to Charlotte’s front with speed.
He aid a punch at Charlotte’s beautiful face, intending to smash her head. But Charlotte reacted, using her hands to block Lin Tian’s attack.
With a "boom," fist and palm collided. Lin Tian remained unmoved, but Charlotte was blasted backward. Charlotte specialized in Western spell arrays and speed, but her strength was no match for Lin Tian’s transford state.
As she was struck, the blood-red mist that had just appeared in her palm vanished, and the Ghost Claw ceased squirming.
Seizing the mont, Lin Tian attempted to pull out the dagger, but an even more intense pain hit him as he did so, nearly knocking him unconscious. The Soul-devouring Blade seed to have penetrated his heart.
"Go quickly, save the Second Miss..." Lin Tian had no ti to hesitate, roaring at Zhang Lingyu behind him.
Zhang Lingyu’s expression shifted before she pulled a red piece of talisman paper from her bosom. Uttering an incantation, the talisman burst into flas, and with a brilliant flash, Zhang Lingyu disappeared, a red light soaring skyward toward the gap in the barrier.
"You’re willing to leave your life for the escape of three won. I’ll grant your wish!" Charlotte coldly said as she watched the firelight fly away.
She leaped up, transforming midair into a gigantic bat, her eyes flashing blood red, and the Ghost Claw in Lin Tian’s chest began to squirm again, faster this ti, piercing deeper into his chest like skeletal hands clenching his heart.
Lin Tian was struck like by lightning, his body freezing, then collapsing with a crash. Blood gushed from his chest as if a faucet had been opened, continuously pouring from the dagger’s blood grooves, instantly staining the ground beneath him.
Wrapped in flas, Zhang Lingyu involuntarily flew out, witnessing Lin Tian’s fall the mont she cleared the barrier. The dagger seed to stab her own heart, waves of severe pain engulfing her, penetrating her very marrow.
Tears uncontrollably flowed from her eyes; she forcefully called out Lin Tian’s na, yet all around was only the sound of wind and fire. She couldn’t even hear her own cries, only the blood-stained soil stinging her eyes.
The scene rapidly shifted, and when the sound of wind and fire ceased, the image froze: Zhang Lingyu had already exited the barrier, standing on solid ground.
But the image in her mind remained fixed at the sight of Lin Tian falling, the heartache still irresistibly persistent. Tears slipped down her cheeks into her mouth, tasting so bitter.
She gripped the Demon-suppressing Whip, standing there dazed, as if forgetting her purpose for leaving until a wave of heat rushed toward her, jolting her awake.
She looked up to see a wall of fire rapidly approaching from afar, leaving scorched earth in its wake, reducing even the skeletons to ashes.
