Lin Tian looked toward the door, and the person who ca was an extrely beautiful woman with a stunning figure, none other than Ning Luoxi.
"Lin Tian, why are you here?" Ning Luoxi asked in surprise, her face full of unexpected expression, since a Gu Cultivator and him were supposed to be poles apart.
"If I weren’t here, could you have successfully removed the zombie Gu from her?" Lin Tian pointed at Youzi and said with a smile.
He wasn’t too surprised to see Ning Luoxi appear since it was she who had captured the person, it was highly likely she would co to take over this Japanese woman.
"Sister Luoxi, why have you co too?" Xiao Manxuan stepped forward to greet her, clearly baffled by Ning Luoxi’s presence since she knew no reason for it.
Ning Luoxi smiled at her and said, "It’s just a police task. Now that she has been freed from the zombie Gu, I will take her away. I have duties to attend to and can’t stay long."
Lin Tian made a welcoming gesture and didn’t ask further, guessing that Ning Luoxi was in a hurry to take her away for an overnight interrogation, hoping to pry so information from Youzi’s lips.
However, Lin Tian wasn’t optimistic about their interrogation; Youzi had clearly given up resisting and hadn’t divulged any useful information. But there was also a possibility that the troops might dig up so valuable information from Youzi’s career as an enforcer.
"Granny Li, sorry for the trouble." Ning Luoxi nodded to Li Qingyun and said, then gestured for Youzi to follow her.
Since the zombie Gu had been removed from Youzi, Ning Luoxi no longer needed to worry about her causing a self-destructive explosion hurting the innocent; thus, she did not knock her out again. With her ordinary skills, Youzi was no threat to Ning Luoxi.
With no ability to resist, Youzi could only follow Ning Luoxi, but as she walked past Lin Tian, she also said to him, "Master, I am willing to follow you."
Ning Luoxi didn’t know about their earlier conversation, so she looked at Lin Tian rather strangely.
"Miss Luoxi, I am certainly not her master." Ning Luoxi nodded and without saying much, walked away with Youzi. Youzi had no choice in her path now, as she was a prisoner.
All of a sudden, Xiao Manxuan looked up at Lin Tian with a cheerful smile, "Master, I am willing to follow you. Please don’t leave behind."
"Ahem, alright, master has accepted you. Rember to warm my bed tonight, master will take good care of you," Lin Tian shalessly played along with her words.
His face was thick-skinned, but Xiao Manxuan, the little girl, couldn’t compete with that. She flirtatiously rolled her eyes at him and playfully said, "Hmph, if you dare take advantage of , I’ll tell Sister and let her co beat you up."
Lin Tian was amused and shalessly thought it would be best if she brought her sister along. Then he could take both sisters and make them his bed-warrs under the sa covers, enjoying a threeso, the ultimate blessing.
"Lin Tian, you’re drooling," Li Yue said.
"Ah, really..." Lin Tian nervously wiped the corner of his mouth, only then realizing Li Yue was teasing him.
He glared at Li Yue’s chest intently, as if to warn, "Be careful not to annoy , or I’ll make you a warm room attendant too, having you massage and serve daily. Then we’ll see if you remain so defiant."
"Alright, Mr. Lin, the experint was successful, so let’s get down to business. Don’t forget that your ultimate target is the Soul-devouring Gu," Li Qingyun reminded him.

"Easy?" Li Qingyun shook his head and smiled lightly, "The Soul-devouring Gu resides in a human’s brain. Any incident ans the host is more likely to die, at best turning into a soulless person, what modern dicine calls a vegetative state."
"Also, our earlier extraction and transferring the control of the Zombie Gu to a new master have probably alard the Gu Cultivator of the Zombie Gu. If he and Mr. Qi’s Gu Cultivator are the sa person, do you think he would let us remove the Gu easily?" Li Qingyun asked rhetorically.
Lin Tian hadn’t considered that aspect, mainly because he was unfamiliar with Gu arts, not knowing that the owner of a Gu could detect its extraction.
But Lin Tian wasn’t afraid at all, instead, he scoffed, "If that coward doesn’t show up, he’s lucky. If he does, then his life is no longer his own!"
"Since that’s settled, let’s head out. Miss Xiao is safe with ," Li Qingyun said briskly, prompting Lin Tian to leave.
Lin Tian nodded, assuring Manxuan to wait safely. As for security, he trusted Li Qingyun, whether it was the police or Professor Xue and his wife, everyone had so connection to Li Qingyun, which was proof enough that she wasn’t an evil Gu Cultivator.
"Go ahead without worries," Manxuan said, returning the sentint and reassuring Lin Tian. The little girl might be spoiled and mischievous usually, but she knew how to prioritize when it mattered.
However, her words sounded too damn ambiguous, making it sound like he was heading to his death. Lin Tian shook his head helplessly and left the basent.
