Now reading: Chapter 330: He Made Griffith Squire Willingly Walk into a D from the two-faced Adopted Girl Who Melted CEO's Ice-Cold Heart, a Romance novel by Smoky and desolate.

Griffith Squire had originally been lounging around lazily like a wolf pup, but instantly, a bloodthirsty glint flashed in his peach blossom eyes. Sitting upright, his flawlessly handso face turned cold. Gritting his teeth, he roared angrily, "That bastard! He wants to take advantage of ? Don’t hang up yet—I need to make a call to confirm sothing."

Griffith Squire quickly dialed the operational leader for this mission, but the call wouldn’t connect; everyone was completely out of contact.

His expression darkened with a chilling intensity. Ignatius Leclair—what a cunning strategist. Killing two birds with one stone: not only using his influence to rescue Delphine, but also secretly setting up a trap to capture Griffith’s people. With these witnesses, Griffith’s unauthorized troop movents into the South Seas would be indisputable, leaving him with only two outcos: exile or covert execution.

Goddamn it, this wasn’t just framing him—it was a covert attempt to eliminate him entirely!

At this mont, Griffith Squire would’ve liked nothing better than to grab a sniper rifle and put a bullet through Ignatius Leclair, that despicable bastard.

Two birds with one stone? No—perhaps even three. After all, that man always sought vengeance for the smallest slight. Reginald Yeager had the audacity to abduct Delphine, whether intentionally or not, and now he’d beco a thorn in Ignatius’s side. His fate would undoubtedly be the most miserable of all.

But Griffith had no ti to dwell on Reginald’s impending doom. Instead, he rapidly issued commands to his forces stationed in the South Seas and Golden Triangle while driving at full speed toward the Leclair estate, preparing to counter-strike and take Ignatius head-on.

"Delphine, all my n have been apprehended by Ignatius Leclair. Since he dared to stir up this ss, I might as well disrupt his grand plan and see if he can manage to clean it up." Griffith Squire suppressed his fury, his dangerously alluring face now clouded in icy darkness. Speaking low and deliberate, he instructed, "The investigators from Imperial City should be arriving soon. Follow exactly what I tell you to do."

Delphine hung up the phone, her chest filled with a chilling unease. The cold wind blew against her, making her shiver involuntarily as she lifted her gaze to the main hall—and suddenly locked eyes with a pair of deep, ocean-like phoenix eyes.

The man stood by the large window in the hall, his noble and graceful presence exuding a quiet nace. His handso face was as enigmatic as an ancient, unmoving pool. She had no idea how long he had been watching her, but the chill in her heart worsened.

This ti, Ignatius Leclair was clearly striking hard against the Squire siblings.

Entering the South Seas with troops unauthorized—Griffith Squire could have ten heads, and it wouldn’t be enough to save him. Ignatius had used her rapport with Griffith and his sister to lure Griffith into a lethal trap willingly.

This man’s scheming was terrifying to behold. Delphine shivered instinctively, unable to understand why he harbored such enmity toward the Squire siblings.

No matter what, this ti she was determined to help Griffith Squire escape this disaster.

"Miss Delphine, it’s cold out here. Let escort you back to your room to rest," Maximilian approached, intending to lead her away.

Delphine sidestepped him swiftly, taking advantage of his brief lapse in vigilance to rush into the main hall.

Inside the hall, the originally disputing two factions instantly turned their gaze toward her in unison as she entered. Stone Leclair stood behind the elder patriarch, locking horns with representatives of the Yeager Family headed by their own patriarch. At this mont, familial interests overshadowed all else—with only the uncle-nephew duo from the Cloud Family remaining in an entirely neutral stance, looking as detached as if it had nothing to do with them.

"What are you doing here? Leave," Ignatius Leclair was the first to speak. His voice was deep to the bone, cold and tinged with a slight irritation.

Delphine instinctively stood beside the Cloud Family’s uncle and nephew. Taking a deep breath, she declared, "This matter concerns . I must be present."

With those words, Ignatius Leclair’s expression grew even darker. His phoenix eyes narrowed with danger, and the corner of his lips tightened into a harsh, unforgiving line.

The other individuals in the hall exchanged bewildered glances. Ignatius’s sealing off the waters—what did that have to do with this young woman?
