Garrett tried to struggle, tried to resist, tried to run. But Cirilla had already charged over with the fabric, weaving left and right, blocking Garrett's way persistently:

"Try it! Just try it! It's really useful!"

Garrett cautiously cast an [Identification Spell]. The result was imdiate and clear; this was a magical item produced and circulated within the council, always ready for an Identification Spell to stick its description on the caster's face:

"Dragon Flight Cloak.

This cloak has a constant [Dragon Flight] spell, usable once per day, lasting 1 hour each ti. If used multiple tis, it can be activated up to three tis a day, with a total duration not exceeding 30 minutes.

It will unfold a pair of dragon wings on your back, allowing you to soar into the sky at the speed of a dragon. However, it does not grant you the casting abilities of a dragon.

Additionally, your weight cannot exceed twice your own body weight.

Use it cautiously and always be ready with a Feather-fall Spell."

No wonder Cirilla recomnded it.

Garrett looked up; the silver dragon girl was gazing at him eagerly, holding up that—cloak?

No, it looked more like a shawl or a silk robe. It had front panels and sleeves, but no buttons or zippers or anything to fasten the front together.

The entire garnt was a beautiful golden-red color, like flowing lava or the burning feathers of a phoenix. Perhaps that's why, at first glance, Garrett had mistaken it for won's clothing.

Of course, even now, it still looked sowhat like that. Garrett stamred:

"Can I choose sothing else? Cirilla, you must have sothing more desired, sothing more important to you..."

"Wear it, wear it! It's so beautiful!" Cirilla urged him:

"Besides, don't you want to fly with ? Spread wings like mine," she gestured with her hands, mimicking the flapping of wings:

"The sa speed! Flying together!"

Garrett shafully hesitated for a mont. In that brief distraction, Cirilla had already quickly unfolded the garnt and draped it over him. Left arm, right arm, pulled up, the collar tugged up to his neck—

"Boom!"

She smacked Garrett's back forcefully.

"Garrett! Fly!"

A terrible force surged from his spine. Heat flowed from his shoulder blades, and Garrett realized a pair of dragon wings had spread from his back—golden-red, matching the garnt:

Extrely wide, extrely long, extrely powerful. Strong muscles and bones supported the taut mbranes, and there was even a pair of gleaming claws. With a slight thought, the wings flapped, lifting Garrett slowly into the air.

How strange.

It almost felt like a natural part of his body.

"Isn't it great? This one, okay?"

Cirilla looked at him expectantly. Garrett couldn't bring himself to refuse, so he tried to deflect:

"But this is a sixth-ring item... Cirilla, with your permissions, you can choose a seventh-ring one, how about looking for another?"

"This one! I'll pick another sixth-ring item!" Cirilla waved her hand decisively. She then turned and shot away, her clear, bright voice ringing out from afar:

"Garrett! Don't take it off!"

"..."

Garrett shrugged, wearing the shimring garnt (or cloak?) and continued searching through the light curtain. He carefully reviewed his options, thinking he might need a defensive item that could automatically deploy a shield, preferably of fifth-tier or higher;

Or perhaps a teleportation item for rapid short-range or long-range transport;

He didn't need offensive items for now; the lightning cat given by his teacher was already strong enough, and the ancient vine bird from Elder Tapros served both as a flying tool and a storage device, so he didn't need anything bigger or stronger for now;

Of course, if there were automatic alchemy equipnt or advanced analytical instrunts, Garrett would welco those too...

With these thoughts, Garrett searched the [Wonders] section. Most accessories and hard-to-classify items were bundled here. Soon, Garrett found a bunch of peculiar items:

A microscope with a constant [Identification Spell]. Garrett: ...Why didn't I think of casting an Identification Spell on a microscope to avoid morizing bacterial traits? It could scan and give answers automatically!

A foldable boat, one foot long and half a foot wide, looking like a decorative "smooth sailing" sculpture. But with a command, it could turn into a three-ter-long boat or a six-ter-long dium-sized boat;

A flying broomstick, exactly like the ones in the "Harry Potter" movies, designed for infinite flight;

A seven-stringed zither for playing music to help construct various buildings, provided the correct tune was played.

Garrett thought sadly, nowadays, even civil engineers or construction workers need extra musical training?

It's getting more competitive!

Looking around, there were many interesting items, but none suited his needs. Garrett kept searching, and suddenly, his eyes fixed on two adjacent records:

"Ring of Mass Cure Serious Wounds. Activates once every 7 days, healing up to 13 people with severe injuries each ti."

"Ring of Mass Cure Critical Wounds. Single-use item, healing up to 15 people with critical injuries."

Hmm... Garrett was tempted. He was already proficient at curing serious injuries and could handle critical injuries—although his casting approach might differ from others.

But if faced with a mass casualty event—like the stampede during the Midsumr Festival when he was still an apprentice—his casting speed might save one, while many others perished in the anti.

He pulled up the data from the light curtain, examining both records. The Ring of Mass Cure Serious Wounds was lower-tier but reusable every 7 days;

The Ring of Mass Cure Critical Wounds was a one-ti solution for crucial monts but useless afterward...

"Which one?"

He turned to Cirilla, who had already chosen her items and was now beside him. Without hesitation, Cirilla grabbed the larger one firmly:

"Go for the big one!"

Alright... fine, choosing the larger diamond rather than the smaller one with a ring of tiny diamonds was very much in line with dragon aesthetics...

The two called the secret vault manager, registered their selections, and stepped outside together. After a few quiet days of research, Garrett had just stepped out of the mage tower when a black-and-white figure suddenly leapt into his arms.

"Mr. Troka?" Garrett held the bundle, looking closely, and was shocked:

"What happened to you?! Where's Lynn?"

Mr. Troka was no longer the majestic black panther, nor the black cat with a white collar and gloves. He was curled up, resembling a black-and-white mist, constantly expanding and contracting, almost on the verge of disintegrating:

"Save... save Lynn... save..."

"Mr. Troka! Hold on!!!"
