The next day, when Wu ngting woke up, Chen Feng was no longer by her side.
She reached out and touched the spot next to her, felt there was still a trace of warmth, and couldn’t help feeling a sweet gush in her heart.
Right then, Chen Feng was out jogging in the compound. After a few laps he was drenched in sweat; estimating he’d run five or six kiloters, he slowly ca to a stop, walking and panting as he headed ho.
Just at this mont, a car slowed down not far from him, then the window rolled down and soone inside greeted him, "Chen Feng, up early to work out?"
Chen Feng took a look and saw it was actually Sun Yanhong. He couldn’t help frowning, but since they did technically know each other, and seeing her smiling broadly, he just nodded in response, without slowing his pace, continuing to walk toward his own place.
He had no intention whatsoever of stopping to chat with her.
"Chen Feng, let tell you sothing, I’ve moved over here too, into that D08 villa. From now on we’re neighbors."
Hearing this, Chen Feng stopped, frowned at her, and asked bluntly, "What are you moving here for?"
Sun Yanhong gave a lazy little smile and said, "Staying in the sa place too long gets boring, so I wanted a change of scenery. The environnt here is great, I really like it."
There was no way that explanation from this horny cougar would satisfy Chen Feng, but he couldn’t be bothered to waste words with her. She could move here if she wanted; as long as he ignored her, there wasn’t much she could do.
Chen Feng kept walking forward. Sun Yanhong’s car still crawled along beside him as she said, "Chen Feng, I just happened to move in today. I’m planning to invite the neighbors over for dinner tonight so we can all get to know each other. You co too, okay?"

Chen Feng didn’t even turn his face toward her, just said his piece and continued walking ho.
"That’s not very nice of you. We’re at least friends, and now we’re neighbors too. Don’t keep a thousand miles away like that."
Chen Feng couldn’t be bothered with her, directly sped up into a light jog and quickly reached the big iron gate of his villa. He pulled open the small door that wasn’t locked, slipped inside, and then shut it heavily.
Sitting in the rcedes, seeing how Chen Feng acted like he couldn’t avoid her fast enough, Sun Yanhong actually didn’t get mad. Before moving here she had already prepared herself ntally for Chen Feng ignoring her.
The reason she’d moved here wasn’t entirely because she was fangirling and hell-bent on getting Chen Feng into bed.
The main reason really was as she had just said: she was tired of her old place and wanted to live sowhere new.
Only secondarily did she think about becoming Chen Feng’s neighbor.
Not that "the pavilion closest to the water gets the moon first" or anything, but at least living close to Chen Feng ant more chances to run into him. Psychologically it made her feel like she was closer to him, which gave her a tiny bit of satisfaction.
She had quite a bit of property under her na. She already owned three standalone villas similar to the ones in Red Villa Bay, yet up till now she actually hadn’t had a standalone villa in Red Villa Bay itself.
This D08 villa she was moving into, she’d gotten it through connections, paying close to eighteen million. The price was slightly above market, and that was already with pulling strings; otherwise they might not have sold it to her at all.
And at the price she’d bought it, judging by Xiu Zhou’s housing prices these past two years, you really couldn’t say she’d taken a loss.
She sat in the car looking at the tightly shut iron gate of No. 8 Villa for a while before finally ordering the driver in front to drive off.

"Sleep well last night?" Chen Feng asked casually.
"It was okay. I’m just not used to the pillow. Yours is latex; I prefer goose down."
"Then bring your own goose-down pillow over tonight."
"...No need, I’ll sleep in my own room tonight," Wu ngting said, her ears flushing a bit red.
Chen Feng chuckled. "All right then, I’ll go to your room tonight and sleep with you there."
Wu ngting knew he was teasing her and rolled her eyes at him, annoyed. "I like sleeping alone even more. And you snore, I don’t like that."
"I snore?"
"Of course."
"I don’t even know that myself, and Little Rui’s never ntioned it."
"I’m not lying to you. If you don’t believe , turn on your phone recorder before you sleep tonight."
"Fine, even if I do snore, you should still be sleeping with . You’re my girlfriend now; sleeping with every day is your duty."
Wu ngting retorted, "I’ve never heard of that being a girlfriend’s duty. Even if I were your wife, I’d have no obligation to sleep with you every single day."
"Okay, okay, since you don’t like it, then you don’t have to sleep with . I’m going to shower first."
With that, Chen Feng went into the bathroom to shower.
But Wu ngting was already feeling a bit regretful inside. Of course she wanted to get closer to Chen Feng, including sharing a bed.
It was just that, out of feminine reserve, she couldn’t agree that easily.
And then Chen Feng just gave up without pushing the issue at all.

After his shower, Chen Feng went downstairs, had breakfast with the two won, then they headed off to work.
Chen Feng, as usual, stayed ho.
