His eyes did not soften the way people usually softened around children.

We entered the pack, and shortly after, they showed us around before taking us back to the main mansion.
I kept wondering when we would see the Blue River.
Being so close to it made restless, and even my mother looked cheerful.
Their mansion stood very tall with a wide entrance, white terraces, and white walls.
Several servants rushed out to welco us. They began to carry our bags inside.

Scarlett took the kids first because they needed freshening up.

"This is your room," she comnted, smiling like she had been waiting to speak with .
I stepped inside but stayed near the doorway. When I noticed she did not leave, I realized she had more to say.
"So it seems like you two finally rejected each other," she remarked. "It is great, honestly. I guess you were waiting because you did not expect Kash to marry ." She lifted her chin and ford a pout, acting as if she felt sorry for .
"Well, then Kash must have told you that I was the one who asked him for a rejection," I replied, looking directly at her, my arms folded across my chest.
