Now reading: Chapter 786 127: Changes in the Trade Wind Ring (Part 2) from Amber Sword, a Game novel by Crimson Flame.

Half an hour isn't considered long, but when spent waiting for soone, it can feel quite tedious.

Out of boredom, Brand began to practice the Fire Magic of an Elental Mage. He raised his hands, mimicking the appearance of that Wandering Mage, letting flas dance between his fingers—his performance quickly attracted a crowd of Tree Elf and Tania children, who surrounded him with wide eyes, watching his tricks as if the young Lord was a perforr of magic.

Initially, Antitina was worried that Brand might get upset, but to her surprise, not only did he not get angry, he even bonded smoothly with the children, soon becoming the leader among them.

For so reason, the noble lady watched Brand play with the children from the side, and felt subtly touched, as if sothing within her was awakened.

She opened her mouth, wanting to say sothing, but no words ca out.

However, Qian, watching this scene, softly comnted, "The Lord is a good person." The red-haired girl had previously bought a pretty silver ring from a Tania person—she used it to bind her ponytail, and her fiery red ponytail swayed gently in the breeze, perfectly complenting her aura: "I never knew nobles could be so approachable."

"Indeed." Antitina responded.

"Is he your friend?" Suddenly, a deep, solid voice asked.

The two ladies were startled and turned around, seeing a tall elf with green hair, adorned with a headpiece and cloak made of leaves, almost bare-chested revealing shiny muscles, standing beside them, looking at the young man not far away.

A Tree Elf, and judging by the appearance, a Druid.

"Yes, sir." Antitina's face reddened, instinctively moving aside.

"Are you the guests from the Lengshan Domain?" the Tree Elf asked again.

The noble daughter nodded.

"I heard that human nobles often look down on us and the Tanians, considering us as barbarians. But observing this Lord's actions, perhaps I misunderstood your people?" he asked.

"The Lord never thinks that way." Antitina replied, "In fact, he protects many Tanians."

"I see." The Tree Elf looked at Brand and nodded.

But Brand did not notice the conversation on this side. He was responding to the children's requests, showing them all sorts of curious tricks—occasionally eliciting cheers from the children. Though the Green Tower was grand and beautiful, foreign sights were rare—children gathered from near and far knowing a wizard performing fire tricks had arrived, and the crowd grew like it was a festive occasion.

Funiya stood beside Brand, and watching the admiration in her peers' eyes toward her Brand brother greatly satisfied this Tania girl's sense of fulfillnt. She occasionally looked up with sparkling eyes at Brand, feeling for the first ti that there was soone in the world as great as her father.

Yet, as Brand responded to the children's requests while practicing mastery of Fire Magic, since Elental Mages and Travel Mages use their Elent Pools differently, for Elental Mages, the Elent Pool is more like a channel—the larger the channel, the higher the Elental Synergy, allowing more simultaneous spells.

In other words, Elental Mages don't truly consu elents, they just reorder these elents from the natural world through this channel. For example, a Fla Arrow that occupies ten slots of a Fire Elent Pool doesn't actually consu ten Fire Elents, it's borrowing ten slots of the Elental Channel.

Only those Upper Magic spells exceeding Ten Rings consu one's Elental Reserve to guide the environntal elents of the entire world, forming large-scale magic.

However, even the true elental consumption of these spells is quite minimal, sotis less than one-tenth of the channel's occupied slots.

Therefore, an Elental Mage's Elental Reserve naturally recovers at a slow rate, only regenerating 1 point of all elents per day before becoming an Elf Master.

And only doubling after reaching the ELF Master tier.

In fact, during later wars, Elental Mages largely use Elent Crystals to pay for consumption, employing their Elent Pools as channels to guide large-scale spells. Especially those Great Elf Envoys, channeling three or four large-scale spells at once through Elental Synergy is very common.
