Bai iyue felt thrilled when she saw that Chen Yuya had turned into a zombie. In her last life, Chen Yuya was fortunate enough to get enough care and zombie nucleus when she was bitten by a zombie. Because of that, she was able to awaken as a supernatural being.

In the third month of the apocalypse, the governnt officials who established bases announced that more than 8 billion people turned into zombies and only about 0.1 percent of people were able to turn into supernatural beings. As for the rest, they remained normal citizens and relied on the strength of others.
They also released the information that, if dealt with properly, the virus can be contained through zombie nuclei and proper care, which could help people to awaken into supernatural beings.
Of course this was more or less a gambling strategy.
The truth was that no matter how many zombie nuclei a person absorbed, in the end it all ca down to a person’s physical fitness. The zombie nuclei could at most aid in making the entire process a bit more seamless.
But even this gamble strategy made the ordinary people charge into the battle all for the sake of getting bitten by the zombies. Ordinary people who got bitten tried their best to overco the virus and its properties, while the supernatural beings who got bitten tried to purify the virus. While so managed to purify and mutate their powers, so ended up dying as they lost their powers altogether. It was a fifty-fifty chance for every person.
And it was due to this theory that Chen Yuya rushed to get bitten by a zombie.
Chen Yuya was quite lucky back then, as Bai Xue, who was obsessed with the idea of becoming a supernatural being, had more than enough zombie nuclei in her hands that she could use. Because of this, she was able to survive the ordeal and successfully beca a supernatural being, even though she was weaker than Bai iyue.

But this ti around, because of her actions of sucking up to Bai Xue and Su Hu, Chen Yuya must have contracted the doomsday virus when she was not paying attention and ended up turning into a zombie.

Bai iyue smiled coldly. Even though she planned to kill Chen Yuya wearing the face of Su Hu, she had to admit that the person who was the cause of Chen Yuya’s death was ultimately related to Su Hu!

Blood that was yet to turn rotten spurted out of Chen Yuya’s chest and doused Bai iyue’s face but that only made Bai iyue smile in grim satisfaction. She covered her belly with her free hand as she muttered in her heart,
’Cai Cai, are you happy? Mother took down one of your culprits.’
After she watched Chen Yuya stop flailing, she unceremoniously burst her head open by using the dagger. Because even if she stabbed the heart of the woman, it would only make Chen Yuya sluggish. She needed to bash her head open!
As Bai iyue pulled back her hand, she saw a glittering pink zombie nuclei and pulled it into her hand before throwing it in her space ring.
She was about to leave when soone scread behind her. Surprised, she turned around and saw Mother Chen, who was running down the corridor while screaming.
"SU HU!"
Bai iyue smiled when she heard the woman scream Su Hu’s na. She turned on her feet and stepped to one side before running out of the ward. She thought that Mother Chen would chase right after her but she rushed to the corpse lying on the ground.
Even though it was quite clear that sothing was wrong with Chen Yuya, Mother Chen paid no heed to it. She looked at her daughter, whose head was split open and shouted, "Su Hu! You will pay for this! Soone call the police!"
"My daughter loved you so much that she fell into this tragic situation; why did you have to kill her!?"
The woman scread with a heartbroken voice but the more she scread, the more satisfied and pleased Bai iyue beca. When her son died, she was just as upset as Mother Chen was at the mont. What did she say back then?
Yeah. That the brat was already dead, and she might as well pay attention to those who were alive, as it was her responsibility to take care of those who were still breathing.
Back then, Mother Chen had stood on the moral high ground, right next to Su Hu and condemned her. Now how did it feel? The loss of one’s child?
