There is a saying, "Long separation is better than a new marriage."
And the mont facing "long separation" is just like a honeymoon, full of subli emotion that surpasses everything else.
Certainly, this led to Jas Black carrying Jane Sampson to wash up the next day. After she had washed up, he carried her back to continue resting. In a trash can, there lay an empty box.
Neither of them had breakfast, and it was almost lunchti when Jas finally called Jane out of the house to send her back to the film crew.
At noon, Jane returned to the film and TV town, and while putting on her makeup, she kept rubbing her sore lower back over and over.
After dropping Jane at the doorway of the film and TV town, Jas didn’t imdiately return to the guard team but instead drove straight to find Rock Bell.
He had already arranged with Rock Bell yesterday that he would visit her at this ti, so Rock Bell was definitely at the office.
Thanks to Rock Bell’s prior instruction, Jas had an unobstructed journey to her office.
When he arrived, Rock Bell was talking to several young newcors. Seeing Jas, Rock Bell sped up her speech and soon drove all the unimportant people out of the office.
"Why not stay properly at the guard team? What made you suddenly think of coming to see ?" Rock Bell spoke while pouring a glass of water for Jas. "I heard from Peter Gingery that it was your birthday yesterday. No wonder little Jane asked Jas Chip for a day and a half off."
"Right," speaking of yesterday, a slight smile flickered in Jas’s eyes, but it was quickly concealed.
"Are you here to ask about Jane’s schedule after this?" Rock Bell could only think of this reason; if it weren’t for sothing related to Jane, Jas probably wouldn’t bother visiting her in his lifeti.
"It could be considered that, or maybe not," Jas lightly tapped on the tea table, producing a soft knocking sound.
A few seconds later, under Rock Bell’s gaze, he continued, "You’ve been in this company for many years, right? You’ve established your own contacts and team. How long do you plan to stay in this company?"
Initially smiling, Rock Bell’s mood shifted, and she imdiately sensed the undertone in Jas’s words.
Seeing Rock Bell didn’t respond, Jas wasn’t surprised and simply stated, "I am offering you an opportunity, a partnership."
"Tell your purpose in doing this?" Rock Bell believed that no pie falls from heaven above.
"I want Jane Sampson to beco the center of attention as the Movie Queen in the shortest ti possible," Jas stated decisively and forcefully.
Rock Bell was stunned by Jas’s statent.
She really hadn’t expected this to be Jas’s reason.
It was simple.
Yet not that simple.
"Start from small to big, set up your own studio, and you will be fully in charge of her alone. Besides taking a salary no less than what you earn here, you will also get thirty percent of the studio’s shares," Jas’s attitude was not much up for negotiation as he directly stated, "You can sign other actors in the studio, but for now, you must lead the whole team."
"But..." Rock Bell said, "You ntioned the shortest ti possible, but little Jane’s contract hasn’t expired yet, and she is currently a highly popular artist. The company may not want to let her go. My own contract just happens to have expired recently, and I’ve been contemplating whether or not to renew it this past half month."
"Courtesy before force. Whether or not your company is willing to release her in the end doesn’t concern . I, Jas Black, can still afford the penalty for breach of contract." Jas then chuckled lightly.
