By this ti, Peter Gingery should have been too busy to check his mobile phone, so there was no response when Jane Sampson replied to his ssage.
There was a bit of a distance from the al place to the largest shopping mall in Capital Province, and sitting inside the car with the air conditioning on after the al, Jane Sampson felt so comfortable she almost dozed off.

With a puzzled "Huh?" Jane turned her head and looked at Jas earnestly, blurting out, "You’ve never had a crush on soone?"
And Jas’s expression darkened.
"What does it have to do with you, Jane Sampson, if I had a crush on soone?" Jas responded with a displeased tone, "Our marriage contract was set up long ago. Don’t tell you’ve had a crush on soone?"
Jane slapped her head, realizing she was indeed being muddleheaded.
"You make a good point," Jane smacked her lips, reflecting, "With your domineering attitude, if you had a crush on soone, there wouldn’t be a chance for to marry you. Your crush wouldn’t stay secret for long; it would definitely turn into an open conquest."
Jas didn’t take it as a complint when Jane said this.
"Have you ever had a crush on soone?" Jas didn’t dwell on Jane’s comnt about conquest but returned the question to her.
"If I had had a crush on soone, I wouldn’t be asking you this question," Jane said, shaking her head in frustration.
She looked at Jas for a while before turning her gaze away and heaving a deep sigh.
When she was young and naively influenced by over-dramatic movies, she used to show off as the powerful woman who would one day be Jas’s wife, oblivious to other matters. Later, she was too engrossed in her own world to pay attention to romantic feelings for others.
As a girl unaware of the ways of the world, she only felt that since all the friends inside the great courtyard feared Jas, and she was to be Jas Black’s wife, she sowhat arrogantly thought herself superior.
That was such a peculiar mindset.
Now looking back, she felt an overwhelming sense of sha.
Back then, Jane watched too much TV and even fantasized about Jas wearing a black leather jacket and bell-bottom jeans, riding a cool motorcycle, whisking her away through the streets like the wind in her dreams.

It’s painful to reflect on the past, and those juvenile fantasies about love were sothing Jane would never admit to Jas. However, upon hearing that Jas also lacked any experience with unrequited love, Jane suddenly laughed, feeling a sense of relief. It was a draw; nobody was at a loss. "What’s so funny?" The person by her side suddenly laughed, and Jas couldn’t help but glance at her. She was smiling genuinely, her face happy like a blooming flower.
