Sion raised his hand and greeted her with a warm smile.
"Were you chasing this pallum?" Sion asked.
"Yes, I just saw him snatch an elderly woman's purse." Adi swung her fist in anger.
"That's going too far, how could he do such a thing!"
Sion nodded slightly.
"He is perfectly normal and could do anything for a living yet he chooses to rob."
Adi looked at the pallum with deep disappointnt.
Seeing that he offered no reply she grew even angrier.
The girl puffed out her cheeks in frustration looking incredibly cute.
"What do you plan to do with him now that he is caught?"
Sion released his mage's hand, letting the pallum drop to the ground.
Even though the oppressive aura had gone, the pallum remained on the dirt panting with terror written all over his face.
"We'll hand him over to the guild. They'll probably lock him up and teach him a lesson for two days." Adi explained.
"The Ganesha familia works with the guild to help maintain order in Orario so handling a minor issue like this is quite simple."
Only two days?
Back in his old world, a cri like this would guarantee at least three years in prison.
In so brutal areas, it wouldn't be surprising if a thug was beaten to death in the streets.
However, Orario lacked the resources to strictly manage every theft so the authorities usually settled for a brief scolding before releasing the culprits.
Rules and order existed but they were largely in na only.

"By the way, who is this lady?"
Adi looked curiously at teria.
"She is my girlfriend, teria."
Sion smiled and made the introductions.
"This is Adi Varma. I t her in the dungeon while I was testing my spells. She is a mber of the Ganesha familia."

teria smiled softly and reached out her hand. "I'm happy to et you."
If an ordinary person said those words, they would just sound like empty social pleasantries.
But looking into teria's eyes, Adi could tell she was genuinely delighted to et her.
Adi had a strong feeling that the two of them would get along perfectly.
"Hello, teria."
Adi shook teria's hand, giving a bright smile. "So you two are lovers. You look wonderful together."
"Thank you for the complint."
The two exchanged a few more pleasantries before another figure approached them from a distance.
"Adi."
A young girl entered their line of sight. Her expression was much sharper and far more disciplined than Adi's.
It was Shakti.
She was carrying so snacks and she looked visibly surprised when she spotted Sion.
"It has been a while."
Sion smiled and greeted her. "Are you two out enjoying the city as well?"
"Yes, I spotted this thief while sister was buying snacks."
Adi turned her gaze back to the pallum and looked apologetically at Shakti. "I'm sorry, I ran off before I could tell you."
"It's fine. What exactly happened here?"
Shakti inquired.
Adi quickly explained the events to Shakti.
Not long after, several mbers of the Ganesha familia walked over and dragged the pallum away.
Even as he was dragged, the pallum still had the blank look.
"I really hope things like this stop happening."
Adi sighed in frustration.
Welp, that was a foolish hope.
Even though Orario was currently protected by the Zeus and Hera familias.
With evilus suppressed to the point of nonexistent, the city still harbored many dark corners.
Fortunately, Orario was in its most golden era.
The Zeus familia, Hera familia and the guild's power hadn't wavered for nearly a millennium.
