Thinking about the relationship between Dorian Howards and Kyle Kinston, about the large family in Falling City, Mr. Conley felt a sense of unease in his heart. And this unease had been there ever since he first saw Kyle Kinston bringing his daughter ho.

Only then did Mr. Conley unwillingly open the door to the hospital room and let Dorian Howards in.

Dorian Howards shook his head, "It was Kyle who arranged it. By the ti I got to the hospital, you had already been taken to the ergency room. At that ti, my mind went blank." He just kept thinking, she must be okay, if anything happened to her, how could he go on living?
All along, he felt that unlike Kyle, he had not inherited that Blood Curse, so when Kyle left Mabel, he wouldn’t survive, but it was different for him.
But up until today, until the mont he stood outside the ergency room, he realized that without her, he couldn’t go on living either!

"It doesn’t hurt anymore." Alice Conley said.
"That woman called Indigo Quigley, who did this to you, I will never let her off!" Dorian Howards said. Earlier, while outside the hospital room, he had already ordered an investigation into everything about Indigo Quigley. He would get justice for her, and anyone who dared to harm her would pay a hundredfold in pain as a price.
