"Then in the future, don’t say I didn’t warn you." Kyle Kinston said, his slightly hoarse voice carrying an indescribable undertone.
In an instant, Mabel Quinn felt as if her heart skipped a beat.

Early in the morning, Mabel Quinn, with a sore back and aching body, arrived at the Corporation. Although Kyle had not done anything outrageous to her last night, he was cold and distant. The two of them sat on the sofa all night, and throughout the ti, Kyle kept holding her hand, making her fingers feel unbearably numb.
It was close to dawn when she finally dozed off and nearly missed her stop on the bus to the Corporation.
"Lyra, co here for a mont." The supervisor of the scriptwriting team, Lavender Foster, called Lyra Grant into the office.
Lilith whispered to Mabel Quinn, "Do you think the supervisor is calling Lyra to push her about the script again? Previously, the chief editor kept returning her screenplay for rewrites. Just the other day, she was so smug after being summoned by the Crown Prince, and now her face looks as gloomy as ever."
Mabel Quinn had naturally heard about the chief editor returning Lyra’s screenplay.
"I’ve read Lyra’s other novels, and it feels like she’s lost her touch; each subsequent novel is worse than the last, with none capturing the essence of her first. I saw online that her latest novel’s sales were dismal, and there’s a rumor that the Grant Family bought a bunch of her books just to avoid embarrassing sales numbers." Lilith continued with the gossip.
anwhile, in the office, Lavender Foster spoke to Lyra Grant with so helplessness, "Lyra, I hope you don’t feel pressured about the chief editor repeatedly sending back your screenplay. The chief editor wants the script to be a hundred percent perfect so that the film will be even better."
"I understand, I’ll continue to write a script that will satisfy the chief editor." Lyra Grant replied, but inwardly she cursed the chief editor who kept rejecting her drafts.
She thought her screenplay was already well written, but the chief editor was still dissatisfied, saying she needed to better explore the conflicts and emotions of the characters based on the novel, and to recall the mindset she had when she first wrote it.
How could she have any mindset!
"You could also collaborate more with other scriptwriters; it might help. Like Mabel Quinn, aren’t you high school classmates? This novel of yours was also written during high school, and the content is about high school life." Lavender suggested.
Lyra Grant was obviously displeased, but on the surface, she responded, "Yeah, I’ll talk more with Mabel."
After leaving the office, Lyra’s face imdiately dropped. She walked over to Mabel Quinn just in ti to hear Lilith gossiping about her with Mabel, and her expression beca even more unpleasant.
Upon seeing Lyra Grant, Lilith quickly stopped talking, her expression a bit awkward.
Lyra Grant stared at Mabel Quinn and suddenly broke into a smile, leaning close to her and whispering, "No matter what happens with , when this movie is released, the original author and scriptwriter nas will include mine. But as for you, Mabel Quinn, you won’t even get your na on the screen. What do you have?"
