Naless disappeared and appeared next to Han ngli, grabbing the talisman from his hand. He read through it with a frown, realizing what it was.
It was an announcent, calling for every demon available to co to this campsite in order to quell a slave uprising before it could happen.
Naless threw the talisman toward the others so they too could see what was happening. He then stared at the others in the room. "Who here told them what was happening?" he asked.
But no one responded.
"Tsk!"
He turned back toward Han ngli. "Where did the talisman co from?"
Before Han ngli could answer, the man reading the talisman blurted out the ssage to everyone, and soon everyone knew that their hidden uprising had been discovered.
"What do we do?"
"I don’t want to die."
"They’ve got our weapons."
Naless was angered. "Shut up!" he shouted, forcing everyone to stop. They all stared at him, while Naless turned back toward Han ngli.
"Where did the talisman co from?" he asked again.
Han ngli saw no reason to hide anymore. He pulled the storage bag from the folds of his dead arm and threw it at the man.
Naless’s eyes widened in shock as he grabbed it midair. He looked inside, and his eyes widened even more.
"Where did you find this?" he asked.
"I killed a demon," Han ngli said.
"When?" he asked.
"Around the ti I started sharing the spirit stones in here," Han ngli said.
"And you kept it from us until now?" Naless asked. However, instead of getting angry, the man found himself laughing. "And here I thought I had everything planned."
Imdiately, weapons and armor flashed out from the storage bag, clattering on the ground before them.
"Grab what you need," Naless said. "They won’t let you live after this. It’s ti to kill or be killed."
The slaves didn’t hesitate in the slightest and went forward to grab the weapons on the floor.
Han ngli grabbed a few dozen daggers and an upper body armor that let his hands move freely. He put on the armor and slowly imbued the daggers with darkness aura as he prepared to fight.
Naless stopped the giant barbarian-like man from grabbing a sword and instead pulled out a warhamr for him.
"It looks like our young friend here is far more careful than we are," he said as he handed over the weapon.
Seeing the hamr in his hand, the giant man roared with laughter. "My hamr! We shall find glory together."
Naless brought out his own weapon that Han ngli had prepared for him before tossing the storage bag back.
Han ngli caught it, seeing the many weapons still inside.
"Can you fight?" Naless asked him.
Han ngli shrugged. "Not really, but I’m ready to," he said.
"If you’re not good at fighting, I’ll need you to do sothing else," Naless said. "We will fight, and it will cause a distraction. The other camps will have fewer guards because of that. Can you sneak there and hand them the remaining weapons? They don’t have Qi, but any help would be great."
Han ngli thought for a mont and nodded.
Just as he did, shouts ca from outside and the battle began.
Their camp was imdiately blown away by a powerful strike, the pillars ripped from the ground, rocks shattering to dust in the air.
And yet, no one was hurt. The slaves also included powerful fighters capable of defending.
Seeing the slaves unhard, the newly arrived demons were awestruck. But they quickly managed to snap out of their stupor and started attacking.
Naless wasted not a single breath as he dashed away from where he stood, the counterforce creating a crater around Han ngli and the barbarian-like man.
The next ti either of them saw Naless, he was next to a demon, his shiny new silver spear bloody at the tip, having just gone through the demon’s head.
He ripped back the spear, and the demon fell to the ground. With a roar, he commanded the slaves.
"Attack!"
The sight of the dead demons filled the slaves’ bodies with vigor, and soon a large battle broke out.
The barbarian next to Han ngli also charged forward, swinging his giant warhamr, a brown light slowly gathering on the hamrhead.
Han ngli ignored the sight of the hamr and quickly moved. He needed to go rescue the other slaves. He was halfway out of the battle when he realized there were demons coming from the side as well.
An arrow swished past him, the wind current it carried trying to rip holes through his skin. But thankfully, the defensive technique he had gotten from the dead demon proved helpful.
One dagger flew from his hand, disappearing into the night, but he had an invisible connection to it, like a marionette’s string attached to it. With a simple jerk of his finger, the dagger flew back, this ti carrying a little less darkness aura than before.
The newcor was either weak or hadn’t expected a weapon to fly at him. Either way, he was struck, and soon the darkness aura would start killing him if he didn’t get rid of it quickly.
A demon flew at him, his saber raised high in the air.
Han ngli moved aside at the last mont, letting three daggers fly at the man. The demon blocked two of the daggers with his sword and dodged the last one, but before he could do anything else, three more daggers flew at him.
The demon blocked these as well, dodging what he could not, but more flew at him again.
Han ngli continuously threw his daggers at the demon, forcing him back with each throw. When he was sufficiently far away, Han ngli made a grabbing motion.
The demon realized at the very last second what was happening, but he was too late to defend himself.
The daggers he had dodged flew back toward him, and while he dodged so of them, a few still struck him in the back.
Darkness aura filled him with pain imdiately, tearing his guard down enough for Han ngli to put a dagger through the man’s head, killing him.
