"Ye Tian, thank you! If it weren't for you, I honestly don't know if I would have made it through this. It's all my fault for being so reckless, taking that elixir before my Spiritual Power had recovered."

Ye Tian glanced at Zhang Xinlan and said, "Xinlan, I should take you back to your room. There's no rush to inspect the Ancient Treasure. We should wait until your Spiritual Power is fully restored."

Zhang Xinlan nodded slightly, a faint blush appearing on her already pale face.

Ye Tian crouched down, and Zhang Xinlan climbed onto his back. He then stood up, placing his hands behind him to support her.

Zhang Xinlan's entire body tensed, and her face flushed an even deeper shade of red.

Ye Tian wondered if he was going too far, but the sensation under his hands made him reluctant to move them.

"Ye Tian, are you going to walk or not?" Zhang Xinlan couldn't help but exclaim. "Even if I'm to beco your woman in the future, I'm not yet. Please show so respect and take back to my room quickly, before this gets any more awkward for both of us!"

She knew her words might displease Ye Tian, making him think she was playing innocent. But she had truly never been touched in such a sensitive area by a man before; her reaction was purely instinctual.

Ye Tian's face burned, feeling as if he really had been taking advantage of her. He imdiately bolted toward the room. His figure flashed, and in the blink of an eye, he was inside.

He quickly set Zhang Xinlan down on the bed. "Just focus on recovering. I'll leave now. What happened just now... I didn't an it. Please, forgive !"
