Upon hearing the storage vault’s door open and seeing the two arrive, the group of police officers greeted them enthusiastically, "Commissioner Bai, Officer Li, you’ve arrived."
"We were just comparing their transaction details. Would you like to take a look?"
Commissioner Bai shook his head. "Hang on. I still have sothing I need to verify. Lend the computer, I want to check a surveillance video!"
Check a surveillance video?
Hearing Commissioner Bai’s words, those present were taken aback. What’s so important about this surveillance video? It’s just criminal evidence of these human traffickers, they wondered.
But seeing Commissioner Bai’s serious deanor, as if he truly had sothing important to attend to, they said nothing more. They simply stepped aside to give him access to the computer.
Commissioner Bai grabbed the mouse and searched through the files on the computer. Soon, he found a surveillance video nad ’2018/6/8/Gate’ and double-clicked to open it. All that was visible was deserted flat ground, nothing noteworthy.
Commissioner Bai imdiately dragged the progress bar forward. In no ti, a silver-white van appeared in the fra. Along with the van ca Zhang Beixing, wearing a T-shirt, running and chasing after it.
From Zhang Beixing’s earlier statent, Commissioner Bai knew that Zhang Beixing would be quickly chased by the traffickers after first arriving there, so there wasn’t much to see initially. So he adjusted the video playback speed, fast-forwarding until Zhang Beixing reappeared in front of the traffickers’ door, then restored it to normal.
Commissioner Bai focused intently on the screen. In the video, he saw Zhang Beixing surrounded by the traffickers, hiding behind a rock and in grave danger. Then, the two sides seed to discuss sothing but, unsurprisingly, the conversation went south. Zhang Beixing then stepped out from behind the rock and faced the traffickers, assuming a fighting stance.
"It’s Yue Family Fist!" Seeing the stance Zhang Beixing took, Li Shuo, who was standing next to Commissioner Bai, exclaid.
Li Shuo had first t Zhang Beixing in April. After watching the surveillance video of Zhang Beixing fighting so hooligans in a classroom, he had beco fascinated by Zhang Beixing’s fighting moves. His curiosity piqued, he spent a long ti searching online and eventually found this relatively obscure martial art.
"Yue Family Fist?"
Hearing the na Li Shuo ntioned, Commissioner Bai, unsurprisingly, had never heard of it. He ntally noted the martial art, planning to look it up when he got back.
He then looked back at the screen.
BANG!
A muffled sound emanated from the computer. They saw Zhang Beixing, after assuming the opening stance of Yue Family Fist, fearlessly charge at the knife-wielding traffickers and engage them in combat!
Zhang Beixing fought fiercely, his punches landing with solid impact. His footwork was bafflingly unpredictable as he weaved through the traffickers, sohow managing to avoid being touched even once.
If soone hadn’t seized the opportunity to launch a sneak attack from behind, disrupting Zhang Beixing’s offensive rhythm, He probably wouldn’t have been injured at all! This absurd thought surfaced in everyone’s minds simultaneously as they watched Zhang Beixing in the video, like a War God felling one trafficker with each punch.
This realization left everyone imnsely shocked. At the sa ti, it only deepened their curiosity about Zhang Beixing’s abilities.
"Brother Li, you ntioned that the martial art this comrade used is called Yue Family Fist, right? Could you tell us more about it later?"
"Absolutely! I’d never even heard of this martial art before. I thought it wasn’t anything special, but wow, it’s incredibly fierce! He almost managed to take down ten of them without a scratch. If this weren’t surveillance footage, I’d think it was a movie!"

Inside the storage vault, the police officers watching the surveillance footage murmured in astonishnt, all finding it utterly unbelievable.

Hearing this, Commissioner Bai snapped out of his shock and nodded subconsciously, but then quickly shook his head. "My visit this ti was partly because of this, yes, but more importantly, it was for another matter!"
"Another matter? What is it?"
This question imdiately piqued the curiosity of many present. After all, Zhang Beixing’s performance was so incredible. If that wasn’t your main focus, what could possibly be more important? they wondered.
Seeing their curiosity, Commissioner Bai didn’t intend to hide anything. He was just about to speak and reveal the traffickers’ current situation when, before he could utter a word—
KNOCK, KNOCK—
A knock on the door interrupted him. The senior dical examiner from the forensics departnt pushed the door open and walked in.
Holding a file in his hand, he addressed Commissioner Bai directly, "Old Bai, the autopsy results are out. What exactly is the deal with these bodies you sent over? Their cause of death is incredibly bizarre!"
Hearing this, the police officers in the room, who were oblivious to the truth, were all stunned. Wait, what? Bodies?!
