This was the docunt Zhang Beixing had Bartram arrange for him after arriving in the Tai Luo Kingdom. After all, he had already begun exercising his authority as President of the Asian Martial Arts Association. If he still refused the official position after doing so, it would be rather hypocritical. Zhang Beixing wasn’t that kind of person, so when Bartram once again proposed that he take up the presidency, Zhang Beixing had nodded in agreent.
It had been an unplanned move on his part. He hadn’t expected that this casual action would bear such unexpected fruit; the certificate was proving incredibly useful today.
After reading the contents of this certificate, the old police chief found himself in a difficult position. Zhang Beixing’s background is simply too formidable!
As soone from Great Xia, he could actually enjoy the status and treatnt of the President of the Tai Luo Kingdom’s Martial Arts Association here in Tai Luo! Although the President of the Tai Luo Kingdom’s Martial Arts Association was only a departnt-level cadre, semi-official and not entirely formal, the position still carried so social standing and connections.
"It’s... it’s no use! Don’t try these tricks on !" the old police chief blustered. "So what if you enjoy the position and status of the local Martial Arts Association President here in Tai Luo? You’ve committed assault and murder! That’s the undeniable truth! Please co with us to cooperate with the investigation!"
He forced himself to say these words. Though his attitude remained tough, anyone with a discerning eye could see that the old police chief’s confidence was no longer as strong as before.
