'Am I really about to be killed by this brat?'
As she watched the surface of the sea growing larger and larger in her vision, that thought could not help but rise in Irene's heart.
Under the giant ape's control, no matter how she tried to activate her Enchantnt Magic, it was useless.
In this form, Kabe and she were no longer beings on the sa level.
Faced with death, no matter how humiliating it was, Irene could no longer afford to care about her pride.
"I surrender! I surrender, all right?! Please, stop already!!"
Gathering all her strength, she shouted those shaful words.
The instant she did, Irene felt the force of their descent co to a sudden halt.
At that mont, the two of them were already less than a hundred ters above the sea.
With the speed they had been falling at just now, Irene had no doubt that if she had spoken even one second later, she might already have died here.
Before she could even let out a breath of relief, that infuriating voice ca from behind her.
"Oh? Irene, you actually surrendered? Now that really surprised . I honestly thought that the great Scarlet Despair would have so even more impressive tricks left."
'This little brat!!!'
The thought of herself being held by the dragon horns and ridden underneath a junior like this filled Irene with a wave of humiliation so intense it made her tremble.
It was not as though she had not thought about using Separation Enchantnt to weaken him again during the fall.
But the current Kabe and the one from before his transformation were completely different existences.
To Irene's shock, her magic now had a very hard ti affecting him at all.
The mont Separation Enchantnt landed on him, it would automatically be torn apart and neutralized for the most part by the violent unknown energy raging within his body.
"What exactly are you? What kind of monster? And what kind of magic is this? Why have I never heard of anything like it before?"
Kabe rode smugly atop his new mount. Before answering, he casually twisted the "steering wheel," turning Irene's dragon head in the direction where Brandish and the others had fallen into the sea.
"Go on. Once we get back, I will explain it to you slowly."
"You bastard, what exactly do you take for?!"
Irene flew into a rage at those words, thrashing her dragon head wildly in an attempt to throw him off her back.
Seeing that she still dared resist, Kabe did not hesitate in the slightest. He raised a fist as large as a house and slamd it down hard on her dragon head.
"Quiet down. A loser should act like a loser!"
"ROOOAR!!"
Irene let out a cry of pain. For a mont, she thought she could even hear a sharp crack from her own skull.
Nearly beaten into a concussion, Irene instinctively obeyed Kabe's order after the dizziness passed.
Struggling, she beat her wings and carried Kabe, whose weight was not the slightest bit less than her own, flying toward where Brandish and the others were.
Far away, watching the dragon and ape flying toward them together, Brandish and the other two turned pale with fright.
Juliet floated in the water, clutching Heine's arm with both hands as she cried out in disbelief,
"No way... how can this be? Lady Irene actually lost to that monster? I do not believe it!"
Heine too pressed her lips tightly together, staring at Lady Irene, who was being ridden by the giant ape, her heart filled with indescribable shock and panic.
But compared to the other two, Brandish was the one who had suffered the greatest shock of all.
First, Lady Irene had transford into a giant dragon, a creature that had vanished for centuries.
Then Kabe had turned into a terrifying ape unlike anything she had ever heard of.
This kind of unbelievable transformation ability, the sort of thing she had only ever seen in stories, shook her even more than the fact that Kabe had actually defeated Irene.
'Why do I suddenly feel like that transformation was insanely cool?
How did they do that? Could I do it too?'
Brandish's imagination began running wild until Kabe's voice called out from afar and snapped her back to reality.
"Brandish, turn our ship back."
"Ah, y-yes, Lord Kabe."
Without realizing it, she had already added an honorific to the way she addressed him.
Then she took out the miniature warship, which she had been holding in her hand like a little toy model, and poured magic into it.
"Shape Magic: Restore."
In the next instant, the enormous warship abruptly reappeared upon the sea.
Brandish and the other two were returned to the deck as well.
Only then did Kabe finally leap down from Irene's massive body.
The mont she was out of his control, Irene hurriedly changed back into her human form and landed sowhat unsteadily on the deck in a rather miserable state.
Kabe, on the other hand, could not transform as freely as she could.
Tilting his head up, he looked at the artificial moon still hanging high in the sky, then shot two beams from his eyes and blew it apart.
As the moon vanished, he could no longer absorb enough Blutz Waves, and his body gradually began shrinking back to its original size.
At first, Brandish and the others, including Irene, all watched with wide curious eyes.
But as the fur across Kabe's body receded, revealing his pale skin and well-defined muscles beneath, Brandish was suddenly the first to realize what was wrong.
"Eh? W-wait, you... your clothes?!"
Brandish covered her eyes shyly with both hands, though she left little gaps between her fingers so she could peek while loudly scolding him.
"Pervert! Do not let see that!"
Heine let out a shriek and hurriedly covered Juliet's eyes, but she herself stared with her own eyes wide open, clearly watching with great interest.
Juliet, anwhile, angrily struggled to pry Heine's hands away, irritated that she was ddling where she was not needed.
From that perspective, Irene, standing nearby, handled it far better than they did.
Although the tips of her ears were faintly red as well, she was still soone who had lived for over four hundred years. At the very least, her face showed little real embarrassnt or sha.
Standing there completely naked, Kabe wiped the sweat from his forehead and helplessly spread his hands toward the group.
"Sorry. That is a side effect of the transformation. Does anyone have clothes I can wear? Please help out."
The magic he had just used, along with the transformation, had drained quite a lot of his stamina, so there was a slight breathlessness in his voice as he spoke.
Seeing that, Irene silently clenched her fist. For a brief mont, hesitation flashed through her eyes.
'The transformation is over. He does not seem to be in very good condition either. If I attacked right now, perhaps I could still win...'
But that thought lingered in her mind for only two seconds before she threw it away.
