Unlike Servants, angels possessed a completely different kind of toughness. They could not be dealt with easily.

In overall strength, they stood shoulder to shoulder with the very top tier of Servants, yet they still could not truly overwhelm a genuine god.

Much less when the one facing them was the unprecedented existence known as the united god.

"They really are tenacious. I can feel my patience starting to wear thin," Morgan sighed inwardly.

Shiomi understood how she felt.

"It can't be helped if you're getting irritated. We have sothing far more important to do, and these angels keep dragging us down."

"Compared to those puppet Servants, these four angels practically feel impossible to kill... no, not impossible. Just not easy to kill," Morgan said, putting her feelings into words.

After all, she was the one leading the battle, while Shiomi supported her from within so their power could be brought out as naturally as moving an arm, even beyond its usual limit.

"Seraphim are the highest-ranking angels directly under Yahweh. Like Yahweh, they are beings that do not belong to this planet," Shiomi said softly.

Yahweh had not been born from a planet, but from the will of the universe as a whole.

Put simply, it was the Counter Force of the universe itself, projected onto this planet and intertwined with human faith until it took shape as a concept.

It was both the cosmic Counter Force itself and, from Earth's perspective, the representative of that cosmic Counter Force.

As the blades of Yahweh, it was only natural that the Seraphim possessed extraordinary power.

"In a sense, they're beings beyond normal limits. If they hadn't run into us, they probably would already have caused a major disaster."

"My husband, can you feel it? This Singularity is starting to beco unstable," Morgan said. "The gravitational sphere at the boundary could collapse at any mont, and in the end it will start to contract..."

"Like what happened back at the Sixth Singularity," Shiomi said, imdiately understanding. "Then in the end, only the four leyline anchor points will remain. Or perhaps only this one."

"Chaldeas is trying to overwrite Singularity F and erase the anomaly here from the result itself." Morgan looked at the angels, covered in wounds that kept healing over and over. "Their task is to hold us here."

"If they don't, the balance of the universe... no, the balance between Buddha and Yahweh within the universe, can't be broken." Shiomi sighed inwardly. "Unfortunately, in Buddha's eyes, even the disaster that would arise from this planet and bring harm to the universe is only an inevitable trial."

"A trial may be unavoidable, but it can always be overco." Looking at the angels, Morgan suddenly smiled in realization. "Perhaps in Buddha's eyes, we are precisely the reason that this trial will be kept at the planetary level and overco there."

So that glance Buddha had cast toward them at Mooncell's Blazing Heaven Barrier had not been without reason.

Everything had already been set in place sowhere beyond sight.

"All of that is too vast for ," Shiomi said with a smile. "I'm not at the point where I can think from the perspective of the universe. It's enough for us to solve this from the perspective of the planet and humanity."

"After all, we are gods who belong to this planet."

Morgan released the Holy Lance in her hand. At that sa mont, the four spears that had been attacking during the battle flew back and circled around the united god.

The cutting wind in the sky seed to freeze for a single instant.

The four angels sensed the change as well.

At that very mont, in Singularity F, in Fuyuki City, where a starless night had stretched on without end, countless stars lit up across the sky.

The stars glittered like the eyes of gods, looking down upon the earth below.

"We declare this here and now. From this mont onward, your god no longer has the right to interfere with this planet. Angels, withdraw. From this day forward, this world belongs to humanity..."

Morgan and Shiomi's voices intertwined as one.

"O stars that shine in the heavens, beco here the light that drives away the endless night... [Morning Star] [LuciferRage]."

The night changed in an instant, flooded with light until it was as bright as day.

Sensing the sudden shift, the four angels imdiately gathered together and raised a defensive concept founded on divine law to resist the newborn star falling from the light.

They truly were worthy of being called the highest-ranked Seraphim.

Even under such absolute power, those four angels held their ground. That much even surprised Shiomi and Morgan a little.

Their toughness had clearly exceeded expectations, which ant this strike alone had to create the opening for victory.

Bearing the descending light of heaven, the four angels were forced lower and lower as they maintained their defense, until they were pressed down to only a few ters above the ground.

And yet, they still endured that near-apocalyptic blow.

The force spreading outward nearly flattened the entire Mount Enzou area.

Seen from Miyama Town, the mountain wilderness that had once stretched across the horizon had, after that one strike, beco a scorched wasteland like land ravaged by wildfire.

All that remained was the collapsed Great Hollow and the high platform base still lingering at the bottom of the enormous crater.

At last, the light of destruction ended, and darkness gradually returned to cover the sky once more.

The angels, who had only barely withstood that strike, did not even have ti to check the situation before Uriel and Raphael died first.

After exhausting nearly all their strength resisting [Morning Star], they had entered the most fatal mont of all.

Two cursed crimson spears pierced the hearts of the two Seraphim. The curse of death spread at once, turning into thorns inside them and bursting outward from within their bodies.

Then ca Gabriel.

He had barely turned his head when the light of Longinus pierced straight through it. The magical energy spreading from the blow split his body apart down the middle, tearing him in half before he fell.

As the last remaining Seraphim, Michael imdiately took flight and charged at the united god.

Waiting for that final angel was the inevitable Gungnir.

Like a teor crossing the heavens, the divine spear left behind a beautiful and rciless arc in the night sky before piercing straight through Michael's body without appeal.

Carrying the light of Gungnir with him, Michael fell directly to the earth like a bird stripped of its wings.

"No wonder they kept their mouths shut and had no intention of delivering any divine revelation."

After landing lightly on the ground, Morgan looked at the angels' remains. Their angelic forms were already fading, revealing identical homunculus faces beneath.

"So it really was a descent, just on a scale even greater than the descent of Divine Spirit Servants in other Singularities and Lostbelts. A special case that could only exist in Singularity F." Shiomi understood at once. "As an obstacle and a final safeguard, it was actually more than adequate."

"But then they ran into us."

Morgan calmly turned and walked toward the center of the leyline.

The plan that had been delayed for at least half an hour by the Servants and angels had finally reached its last step.

After confirming that Scáthach and the others were ready on their side as well, Morgan followed Shiomi's instructions and placed the final cornerstone at the leyline node.

At the four places where Fuyuki's leylines converged, pillars of light shot straight into the sky.
