The bridge of Storm Border was the first to detect the change.

"Gravity around the Singularity has disappeared!" Romani imdiately reported the latest readings. "The Shadow Servants that had been attacking nonstop until just now have all retreated... what exactly is happening..."

"It feels like the end of the world is closing in," Da Vinci said quietly.

"And those four pillars of light that just appeared..."

Olga Marie was about to ask for more details when three convergence mirrors suddenly appeared inside the bridge.

Scáthach, Skadi, and Artoria stepped through the mirrors, which vanished the mont they arrived.

"This isn't the end of the world," Artoria said. "The boundary of the Singularity is collapsing."

As soone who had once summoned the end of the world with the Holy Lance, her words carried particular weight.

"What's the difference between the two?" Olga Marie asked quickly.

"Singularity F is the cornerstone Chaldeas uses to carry out the re-editing of human history," Skadi explained. "But here, there is neither a Holy Grail nor a Fantasy Tree..."

Scáthach continued.

"In simple terms, the way Singularity F exists is different from any previous Singularity, or even a Lostbelt."

Because of that, thods used before, such as seizing the Holy Grail or cutting down a Fantasy Tree, simply would not work.

Fortunately, Singularity F had been built upon the foundation of Fuyuki City itself.

And the leylines that sustained this city and the land beneath it were sothing Shiomi understood perfectly.

With the Mount Enzou leyline, the one with the highest spiritual rank, as the central axis, detonation points were set at the other three leyline nodes, effectively killing the land beneath the city.

Normally, such destructive acts would trigger interference from the planet's Counter Force.

But this was not a real planet. It was a celestial sphere replicating the soul of a planet.

Even the arrival of Neo-Chaldea had failed to stop it. Chaldeas had already exhausted its ans of interference.

Those four pillars of light were proof of that.

Singularity F was collapsing.

The very origin point that had set everything in motion for Chaldeas was turning into a void.

"But if the Singularity is completely destroyed, Storm Border can't escape through Imaginary Number Diving or Rayshift... won't it disappear along with Singularity F?" Touko asked.

She was not worried about herself.

She was worried that Shiomi and Morgan had decided to smash the pot and drag Chaldeas down with them in mutual destruction.

Touko herself had no objection.

The problem was that there were others on board.

"Don't worry," Artoria said. "No matter what happens to Singularity F in the end, Storm Border will be safe."

Seeing the others' puzzled expressions, Scáthach gave a helpless smile.

"You could say... the protection of a god is with us."

"Though that particular god happens to be soone everyone here knows very well," Skadi added, shaking her head lightly.

However, the concepts of ti and space were about to collapse as well.

Storm Border would soon be unable to perceive anything that followed, as if frozen inside a gap between ti and space.

Scáthach and the others chose not to ntion that.

Even if everything ended up lasting only the blink of an eye, the uncertainty of how long or short that "instant" might feel in the unknown would only bring unnecessary fear.

Neo-Chaldea had already done everything it could.

What remained could only be entrusted to Shiomi and Morgan.

...

"Ti and space are disappearing. Soon, we'll be the only ones still able to move."

Shiomi spoke softly to Morgan.

"Doesn't my husband find it rather romantic?" Morgan said with a smile. "If this becos the final eternal mont of the world, then it will be the two of us, husband and wife, standing together."

"That's exactly what I ant. If this truly is the final mont, then facing it with you makes happy."

"In that happiness, we are the sa."

Walking through the sky as though on solid ground, the two communicated through their hearts without reservation.

They watched as Singularity F vanished, leaving only the four pillars of light from the leyline nodes still standing, slowly freezing in place as ti itself ca to a halt.

"Your actions, these inexplicable acts of destruction, have indeed created irreversible flaws in the operation of Chaldeas."

A voice echoed around the united god Morgan.

It sounded like Marisbury, yet carried the cold tone of a machine.

"Why deny 'the safeguarding of human history'? Humanity, which will inevitably face destruction, can only allow 'human history' to continue forever by reaching the Root together and becoming a higher order of existence... continue... continue... continue..."

Then the voice began to break apart like a malfunctioning machine, repeating fragnted words.

"Error... human history... continuation... error... correction... human history... continuation... error..."

Clearly, those words had been Chaldeas's final attempt to correct sothing.

And it had failed completely.

"Magi truly never learn," Morgan sighed. "Over countless generations of inheritance, they completely twisted the relationship between 'purpose' and 'process.' In order to reach the purpose, any process becos acceptable."

The Magi of the Clock Tower were like this.

And Morgan of Proper Human History had once been the sa.

It was a conclusion Morgan had reached after witnessing countless acts of foolishness.

"In the end, after the Age of Gods had already faded, trying to forcibly preserve Mystery... insisting on proving the existence of the Fifth Imaginary Elent, twisting the forms of Magecraft and Mystery just to keep them alive... that itself is a massive mistake."

That was Shiomi's judgnt.

"So in my husband's view, for the future of human history, for the future of Proper Human History, Mystery should continue to diminish until it disappears entirely from the world," Morgan said, understanding.

"The King of Heroes and the King of Magecraft both followed the flow of the era, letting humanity part ways with the gods and walk the earth on their own two feet," Shiomi said. "But Magi have always refused to let go of Mystery."

"So we'll just have to make the choice for them."

"A second decline of Mystery." Morgan laughed softly. "But it won't happen overnight."

"A thousand years. Give Magi another thousand years to accept that what will guide humanity to the stars is science, not Magecraft."

"Will it really be that easy?" Morgan shook her head.

Her gaze turned toward Storm Border, suspended motionless in the void.

"Whether it's easy or not doesn't matter. This is our mission, my wife," Shiomi said. "It's ti to go."

In the dark void, a faint glimr of light appeared in the distance.

"What is that?"

"Beyond the horizon of causality. The edge of heaven and earth."

"And what awaits us there?"

"Perhaps battle. Perhaps sothing else."

"Hmm."

With that quiet response, the united god slowly tilted forward and flew toward the faint light shining in the distance.
