He gestures for us to follow him out of the room after that. Eventually we make it to a small room away from the main hall.
"Nobody really gives information about that here because it usually ans that we’ll be killed." He says with a serious tone.
Eliza doesn’t seem to be phased by this in the slightest. "You won’t be killed. We are planning to take care of this Lord." Eliza responds with a confident, yet serious tone.
"I’m just supposed to trust you because you’re from the church? That’s not really how it works around here and you know that. We’ve not had anyone who can actually do sothing in years." He says with disbelief in his voice.
It is kind of hard to believe that people want to take care of sothing if it hasn’t been done in years to begin with. I’d be feeling the sa way as him if the positions were reversed here.
But we are here to help regardless of what this guy can give us. I’m not entirely sure he’ll be able to help since he’s being this hesitant to start.
"Then we’ll figure it out on our own." I speak up.
His eyes imdiately lock onto . "You guys are that confident? Fine, but the heroes aren’t going to be happy that I’m telling you anything." He replies while taking a step back.
He looks a lot more nervous than before but I think it has to do with the heroes. The ntion of them not being happy caused him to be nervous.
"We are listening then." I say while waiting patiently.
"The Lord known as Ezeriel is located north of here, handling the people who don’t want to obey. Not everyone wants to fight for the rest of their lives but he doesn’t like the people who think that way. He’s probably at the Kingdom of HeartFell." He responds while pacing around the room.
Kingdoms exist within this realm? That’s definitely interesting but I guess it makes sense. It’ll be the first ti I get to see sothing like it.
Usually they were in the old days or just stories we heard of growing up but here it doesn’t seem to be the case. Real kingdoms exist within a place like this.
I’m sure that ans that an army will be awaiting us the mont we do decide to kill this Lord. This is also ans that kings exist within the realms as well.
But a Lord isn’t that high up, is it? My knowledge about this isn’t the best since I haven’t done my research in quite so ti. I’m sure it could be but I don’t know.
"That information is good enough. Thank you." Eliza says genuinely.
After that she begins to leave so we follow behind her as we keep an eye on the people around us. The slayers here were definitely concerned about what just happened but it wouldn’t matter.
It was best to just keep moving so that we could make our way to this Kingdom of HeartFell that he ntioned.
"We will continue moving without drawing too much attention. It’ll be quite the walk though so maybe it would be best to find ourselves a ride." Eliza speaks up while cautiously listening.
"I see sothing ahead. Do you guys rely on carriages here?" Velia asks with a bit of curiosity.
"For extensive travel, yes. Let us get our ride then." Eliza answers before leading once more.
Upon reaching the carriage I could see an older looking man sitting at the front as if he was waiting to begin with. "Are you folk looking to travel sowhere?" The man asks with a bit of excitent hidden within his voice.
"Yes. We need to go to HeartFell." Eliza answers.
"HeartFell Eh? Alright, hop in." He gestures towards the back of the carriage.
Getting into the back of the carriage, it was quite nice inside. The seats were lined with cloth and even look like soone of royalty would sit here. There was a window on one of the walls that you could see out as well.
"Off we go!" He shouts.
I’ve gotten so used to walking or teleporting that I didn’t know what it was like to travel like this in the slightest. By horse is different for sure.
We have all sorts of ways to travel in my world that would probably be considered futuristic at this point in ti. It makes wonder if all the realms are like this here or if this is just one that is like it.
I’ve never gotten to experience this before though so it is kind of nice.
Feels like I’m living in a completely different ti then I’m used to but I honestly don’t mind it whatsoever. This is the opportunity to see what life could be like in a different ti.
"We don’t need to pay him?" Aria questions with so confusion.
"No. Nobody really pays to get around here, that’s one of the nice benefits to this realm." Eliza answers with a smile.
"I’ll definitely enjoy the free ride to this Kingdom then." I chi in while leaning back against the seat.
"You should. We’ll definitely be in for quite the ti when we reach the kingdom." Eliza responds calmly.
Aria moves a bit closer to with Velia, both of them seem to be keeping their distance from Eliza for the ti being. I couldn’t bla them since we hardly know her yet.
But I think it is also because the two of them genuinely missed being close to since we haven’t had that opportunity. Velia especially.
She’s always been the hardest person to read since she keeps this monotone voice all the ti. Making it impossible to tell how she’s feeling or if she’s happy with sothing.
Regardless, I’m happy that I get the opportunity to enjoy their company like this again. It does feel weird that Ghost and Lilly aren’t here but I think it’s better off that way for now.
Ghost could use so ti to get so information about the demon realms from Lilly.
The biggest problem just cos down to the target on Lilly’s back when they discover she is back here again. Not that I couldn’t handle so demons after everything I dealt with in the towers.
It just is a bit different since they also had so awakenings here as well... Awakenings with no indication to what ranks they are or how strong they are period.
I couldn’t get a read on any of the slayers back in that guild hall which says a lot.
You just aren’t used to the demon realm yet. There is a lot that you have to learn before you can start to sense what kind of power each demon has.
I’m sure you’ll be able to handle it since you are one of the strongest people I’ve t.
I appreciate the confidence but there is still a lot that I’m lacking, especially when it cos to power. There are stronger people out there and I need to surpass them as well.
People I care about can’t die, not again.
You are definitely going to get stronger, I’ve seen this over and over again. You’ve even gathered a new power from the tower that you can use with the power of a dragon.
There is also a lot for you to figure out for the full potential of the dragon inside you.
You’ve never beco a full dragon yet so the power is still endless... The potential to grow is always going to be there as long as you haven’t reached that stage yet.
When I can beco a dragon completely, will that be the limit of my power as a dragon? An SSS dragon to be precise.
No. Just that is the finally stage of evolution you’ll be able to hit with this power. Everything else will be up to you to channel and figure out where it ends.
There’s still no guarantee that it will be enough to handle the Monarch’s either.
It’ll be enough. I have this other power inside as well that is constantly calling out to in more ways than I can count. It might be sothing similar to what the Monarch of chaos was given when he found that crystal.
The connection I have now is telling so at least.
"Are you okay Rokuro?" Eliza asks with so concern.
"Yeah, why wouldn’t I be?" I respond with my own question.
"The power within you is what worried ." She answers while looking towards .
Sothing about her senses is definitely quite insane. I’m not sure what she can see or what she can sense with the power but it definitely might look bad.
There’s two different powers fighting against one another inside of . The power from the crystal is still not liking my dragon power in the slightest.
"There’s nothing to worry about. Everything is fine." I reassure her.
"If you say so." Eliza replies with concern still in her voice.
