Faced with a life-and-death threat, the Saint of the Seven Stars cared for nothing else and used all his strength, even more than his own body could bear. A seven-colored glow erged, and the Saint appeared hundreds of ters away.

The price for such an act was not low; blood seeped through the pores of his skin, and even his flesh tore under such imnse speed. Breathing heavily, he looked at the enemy with a cold gaze, but there was a touch of fear in his eyes.

It was the first ti he had been so close to death; if it weren't for his determination, he would be dead at this mont.

"You dodged," Cadmus comnted with a touch of surprise. He knew better than anyone how close he had co to killing the Saint before him.

"Heretic mage," the Saint spoke in a cold, chilling tone; an enormous malice seed to condense around him, making him look more like a demon than a saint.

"Don't look at like that, I'll get shy," Cadmus said with an amused tone, showing a smile. He didn't care in the least about being called a heretic mage. Why would he care about the words of soone he didn't like?

"However, I am quite curious about you," Cadmus spoke, looking at the ground where the Saint stood. There was golden honey beneath his feet. He couldn't help but show a trace of disdain. Honey had always been a gift in people's eyes; it was sweet, beautiful, and seed pure.

Because of this, the paradise described by many mythologies had rivers of honey and orchards that always blood with fruit. It could be associated with this world, which is why honey appeared wherever the saint stepped.

Kinvara appeared beside Cadmus and landed on the ground; the mantle of flas was still around her, illuminating the environnt and bringing a comfortable warmth.

Cadmus looked at the woman with a touch of curiosity. Kinvara couldn't be called a witch; after all, her power originated from the gods, but at the sa ti, she was also considered a mage in the eyes of the common people.

Looking up, Cadmus saw the three stars in the sky; all the others seed to have disappeared at that mont. He looked at Kinvara and said with a laugh, "It's truly a fight of gods; they like to show off quite a bit."

"The glory of the gods must be seen by the people, bringing the gentle power of the divine to the mortal," Kinvara said in a soft, deep tone, looking at him with a suggestive gaze. Almost as if she wanted Cadmus to join the Red Faith.

"Don't try to convert to your god, Kinvara," Cadmus said, rolling his eyes. "I'm a mage; I'm more curious about how to dissect the body of God."

Kinvara remained indifferent to Cadmus's blasphemous words and spoke in a sincere tone. "The Red Faith has an arm of a God kept in the Great Red Temple."

Cadmus's lips pursed; he had to admit, it was a tempting proposal. Having the arm of a god for study truly sounded like sothing incredible. However, the price was being a believer in R'hllor, sothing he didn't want.

As for pretending to be a believer to receive the arm, Cadmus didn't consider such a thing. He was an adult, and so was Kinvara; creating a rift with the World's Largest Religion over a lie so easily exposed was sothing stupid in his eyes.

"Let's set that aside and focus on this divine piece of shit," Cadmus refused subtly and spoke in a calm tone.

Kinvara looked at Cadmus with a touch of disappointnt; she was certain she would bring Cadmus to the Red Faith, but she didn't expect to be refused. Apparently, Cadmus still had zero desire to beco a believer.

However, facing the Saint of the Seven Stars before her, Kinvara set those thoughts aside and, with a thought, dozens of Rings of Fla appeared around her. "He is a lee combatant, be careful."

Leaving those words in the air, Kinvara moved away and gained distance again.

Cadmus looked at the Saint of the Seven Stars and drew his wand. Although he could perform magic with his hands, the wand was essential in a battle, as it would save magical power and provide more precision in spells.

"Transfiguration." With a flick of Cadmus's wrist, all the earth within a hundred ters began to ripple like a wave. In the next mont, earthen spikes surged toward the Saint of the Seven Stars.

The Saint of the Seven Stars showed a solemn look, spun his sword, and drove it into the ground; a seven-colored shield glowed around him.

In an instant, a myriad of spikes attacked the seven-colored light shield; the volu of attacks was so great that the light shield began to crack. The Saint showed no fear in the face of such a situation.

In the next mont, Kinvara also attacked; gigantic rings of fla collided with the seven-colored shield, sparks flew everywhere while the sharp, piercing hum of the high-speed rotating fire rings spread across the entire battlefield.

Faced with the enormous pressure coming from all sides, the shield distorted grotesquely and, in an instant, shattered into irregular shards of light, flying in all directions. The Saint of the Seven Stars ran—ran like never before in his life.

His figure dodged the spikes and the rings of fla as he ran frantically across the battlefield.

Kinvara continued attacking relentlessly, not stopping for even a mont. With the Red Star above her, she had infinite divine energy and could be extravagant to the extre.

Cadmus didn't stay still either; he began to distort the battlefield with Transfiguration, creating enormous walls of earth, stone, and other things. All to disrupt the Saint of the Seven Stars' escape rhythm.

And it worked!

Dodging a high, wide wall, the Saint of the Seven Stars spun in the air, evading two rings of fla by passing between them in mid-air. Ignoring the damage it would cause to his hand, he touched the ring of fla with his feet and gained montum again, surging forward.

However, a ring of fla appeared above him and, under the Saint of the Seven Stars' calm and cold eyes, tore through his shoulder, ripping away a good part of the shoulder and the entire arm.

The terrible heat cauterized the bleeding, but the arm flew through the air and fell heavily to the ground.

Cadmus, without any hesitation, sent dozens of spikes forward. The Saint of the Seven Stars moved again, using his hand to grab one of the spikes. He used it to gain montum again and dodged the dozens of spikes in the air.

"Damn, that was incredible!!!!" Cadmus couldn't help but shout aloud. He might be his enemy, but that didn't stop him from praising the man.

"However, do you know why physical strength is inferior to magic or any other energy system?" Cadmus said with a smile. "Because, aside from a certain invincible bald being who likes to pretend he's a hero, the strength of the body is nothing before the greatness of magic and energy."

"Let show you an example," Cadmus said, flicked his wrist, and whispered.

"Protego Diabolica."

A ring of blue flas manifested in a one-kiloter radius, rising into the sky with flas dozens of ters high.

"It is fire from hell itself; it will kill anyone with malicious intentions toward ," Cadmus spoke, creating a second ring of blue flas covering a five-hundred-ter area, and then another ring of flas covering a two-hundred-and-fifty-ter area.

The Saint of the Seven Stars looked at the rings of fire around him and showed a solemn expression. While running around the ring, he dodged Kinvara's infinite attacks. However, whenever he thought of crossing the black flas, he felt he would die if he touched the blue flas.

"Demon of the Blue Flas." The Saint finally, like Cadmus, earned his epithet; it was truly an unpleasant power.

"Heretic Mage, you forgot sothing," the Saint spoke. "My miracle is indeed related to physical aptitude, but that doesn't an I can't use divine energy for other things."

Accumulating a large amount of energy in his sword, the Saint looked at Cadmus, secured by two rings of blue flas, and swung the sword toward him.

A seven-colored glow blood in the air and surged forward, cutting through everything in its path, including even the blue flas, opening a straight path totally free of flas to Cadmus.

The Saint of the Seven Stars again forced his wounded body to the extre and crossed the one-kiloter distance in a re second, appearing before Cadmus with a cold and chilling look. The sword was ready, inches from Cadmus's heart.

What left the Saint perplexed was that there was no fear in the face of the abrupt events; there was a smile on his lips.

The world began to slow down for the Saint of the Seven Stars; he looked at Cadmus's calm face and then saw the mage's finger pointing to the side.

Calmly turning his face, the Saint of the Seven Stars saw an enormous bird before him; its talons were inches from his body, just as the saint's sword was inches from Cadmus's body.

"You gave the impression of being arrogant, and the greatness of magic was made a bait to lure at the right mont." In slow motion, the Saint comnted in a calm tone, and the world returned to normal.

With a sharp and powerful eagle's cry, Mitra grabbed the Saint of the Seven Stars and lowered her enormous head, opened her beak, and, as if it were nothing, simply tore off the Saint of the Seven Stars' head.

A powerful and voracious wind made Cadmus narrow his eyes, his clothes fluttering against the wind, and a smile appeared on his lips.

Seeing Mitra tear off the Saint of the Seven Stars' head, he smiled even more.

The mont the Saint of the Seven Stars died, the Seven-Pointed Star seed to bleed; a seven-colored light swept the sky, as if sothing, or rather, a god, were deeply angered by sothing.

A rain descended from the sky, as if the world itself lanted the death of a holy being.

"Kinvara, I've always thought rain was sothing interesting; sotis it seems the gods are coming for us," Cadmus comnted, looking at Kinvara, who had just landed beside him.

Even with all her experience, Kinvara rolled her eyes and contorted her lips, as if she were stopping herself from uttering words that were anything but elegant to Cadmus.

"What are you going to do with the city?" Cadmus asked, looking at Oldtown with a bright gaze. Honestly, if Rhaegar were present, he would have ordered the burning of the city without any hesitation.

Sothing Cadmus agreed with but didn't want to do.

"It's not so easy to burn the city; there are probably one or three statues that can carry the power of the Seven-Faced God, making this city an impenetrable wall," Kinvara said in a calm tone.

"Do not underestimate the strength of a religion that has endured for over seven thousand years."

Cadmus nodded and did not underestimate the Faith of the Seven. In a world where gods exist, never underestimate the gods.

"However, although we cannot burn the city, we can do sothing better," Kinvara said. "We will break the humans' faith in the Seven-Faced God," Kinvara said with a cold smile. "That is worse than burning the entire city, for it would make these people martyrs and further boost the Faith of the Seven on this continent."

"I'll leave those things to you," Cadmus said in a calm tone. He let the professionals do the work.

"Go, leave things to ." Kinvara nodded and looked at the city with a bright gaze. The Red Faith never showed weakness before other religions.
