The only disturbing thing was the way she stood.

One mont, she was standing perfectly straight.

The next second, her entire body twisted and wriggled unnaturally, as if her bones had suddenly turned into soft ropes.

Her head tilted sharply, her shoulders bent in impossible angles, and then she straightened again.

It looked almost comical.

If only Lana had not been the only one who could see it.

As if sensing Lana’s gaze, the girl suddenly turned her head.

Their eyes t.

The ghost tilted her head slightly and gave Lana a sweet, innocent smile.

But instead of feeling reassured, Lana felt a wave of cold disgust crawl through her body.

Without taking her eyes off the ghost, she quietly leaned toward Mr. Crow.

"How old is that ghost?"

Mr. Crow followed her gaze, and his expression imdiately turned serious.

"If my estimation is correct," he spoke in a low voice, "that ghost is at least three hundred years old."

Lana inhaled sharply.

Three hundred years. ’We really ran into a tough one this ti...’

The only comforting thing was that they had both a Celestial Master and a priest accompanying them.

Thinking that, Lana glanced toward Freddie and Ethan.

The two of them were calmly sitting on one of the benches, patiently waiting for the others to finish sprinkling the ghost powder.

Normally, ghosts remained invisible unless they deliberately revealed themselves.

They could create disturbances, make noises, and cause strange phenona, but human eyes still could not see them.

That was why ghost powder existed.

Once the powder was sprinkled in an area, any ghost within its range would gradually beco visible.

Unfortunately, the powder required about thirty minutes before it fully took effect.

Lana pretended that she could not see anything.

After all, she could not exactly reveal that she possessed a third eye.

With that thought, she quietly sat down on a bench that had no ghost sitting on it.

Around her, the other subordinates took their seats as well.

So chose empty spots like her, while others unknowingly sat directly on top of ghosts, their bodies overlapping with the spirits.

Lana forced herself to ignore the uncomfortable sight.

Half an hour later, the ghost powder finally began to work.

One by one, the ghosts slowly appeared before everyone’s eyes.

However, Lana felt slightly confused.

"If they saw us sprinkling the powder, why didn’t they just leave?"

Mr. Crow seed to sense her doubt.

"So ghosts actually want to be seen," he explained calmly.

"Their cultivation is so high or so low that normal human eyes cannot perceive them. So they wait for the powder to take effect."

He paused briefly before continuing.

"They’re not leaving because they believe they can deal with all the humans here."

Lana shivered slightly. ’What a terrifying thing to say...’

Yet Mr. Crow spoke about it as casually as if he were explaining how to eat a bun.

Soon, the ghosts beca completely visible.

Several subordinates imdiately jumped to their feet in fright after realizing that they had been sitting on top of ghosts the entire ti.

Their faces turned pale as they quickly retreated from their positions.

At the sa mont, the Celestial Masters and the priest launched their attack directly toward the girl ghost.

They had already identified her as the strongest one.

Lana watched with sparkling eyes, excitent rising within her chest.

The thod used by Celestial Masters and priests to exorcise ghosts was entirely different from her own.

She relied on releasing mystic waves.

They, however, began with powerful incantations.

Their voices echoed through the dusty church as sacred words filled the air.

Soon after, holy water was splashed forward, forming faint golden ripples that burned against the ghost’s body.

Lana watched carefully.

She could clearly see how effective their thod was. The ghost girl struggled violently as the holy water touched her, her body twisting in pain.

Seeing that, Lana felt slightly relieved.

She and Monica focused on dealing with the remaining ghosts.

Even though those spirits were considered weaker, Lana was still shocked when she realized that more than ten of them had nearly two hundred years of cultivation, the upper limit for ordinary ghosts.

Fortunately, Lana herself was already approaching the Heaven Rank.

Otherwise, dealing with so many ghosts at once would have been nearly impossible for her.

Once everything was finished, the priest and the Celestial Master quietly looked toward Lana, their expressions filled with clear satisfaction.

Among everyone present, her performance had been the most outstanding.

Not only had she remained calm throughout the battle, but she had also managed to deal with five ghosts that possessed nearly two hundred years of cultivation entirely on her own.

Considering that Lana was still at the Earth Rank and had not yet stepped into the Heaven Rank, such an achievent was nothing short of remarkable.

Freddie and Ethan exchanged a brief glance.

The mont their eyes t, it was obvious that the sa plan had already ford in both of their minds.

However, they did not speak imdiately. Instead, they patiently waited until Lana had separated from the others and was standing alone near the side of the church.

Only then did Freddie step forward.

Without saying anything at first, he calmly handed her a card.

Lana accepted it out of reflex. When she looked down and saw what it was, confusion instantly appeared on her face.

She raised her head and looked at the Celestial Master and the priest. "What is this?"

Freddie smiled warmly, his expression gentle and approachable.

"With this card," he spoke calmly, "you can easily enter any governnt exorcist organization."

He continued in a relaxed tone.

"You won’t need to take any entrance exams, nor will you have to go through the usual recruitnt procedures."

Hearing that, Lana blinked in surprise.

After a brief mont, she politely nodded. "Thank you for the offer."

A faint smile appeared on her lips. "But for now, I don’t plan to join any governnt organization."

Freddie did not look surprised at all. Instead, he simply waved his hand dismissively.

"A human lifespan nowadays can reach nearly one hundred and fifty to two hundred years."
