[Do you want to sign in?]
Looking at the ssage in front of him that popped out of nowhere, Yang Ze’s first reaction wasn’t happiness or ecstasy, but instead nervousness.
From the day he arrived in this world, there have been only two instances of this so-called special sign in.
The first one gave him Supre Dao Body, the second one gave him Eternal Youth. Although they might sound powerful, they were the cause of his suffering. Especially that damned Eternal Youth that upgraded his Supre Dao Body in a sense that it would now announce the entire description of the Supre Dao Body to soone who has intimate contact with him.
The two of them already brought him so much trouble. He didn’t dare to think what the third sign-in would bring.
But at the sa ti, he couldn’t help but feel an itch in his heart. What if he gets sothing good? What if he gets sothing extraordinary? The previous two rewards were already heaven-defying. Though they caused him troubles, they were nevertheless useful in their own ways.
The more Yang Ze thought about it, the faster his heartbeat sped up.
"Screw it." As a person from Modern Earth who has read many novels and played countless gacha gas, it was impossible for him not take a risk.
Without any hesitation, he muttered to himself in a soft voice.
In the next instant, the screen in front of him blurred as a new ssage appeared.
[Congratulations on getting Cauldron Of Creation.]
"....."
"....."
"What’s that?" Yang Ze looked around in confusion, wondering what happened. And just when he was about to look inside his body, he felt his mind buzz as he suddenly found himself standing in a vast, empty void with nothing but white light all around him.
And in front of him was a small, exquisite Cauldron that was half his size and was floating there quietly.
"What the..." Yang Ze didn’t even have ti to observe it when the cauldron suddenly turned into a small speck of light before shooting into Yang Ze’s head and rging with him.
In that instant, Yang Ze’s mind went blank.
He didn’t know how long he had been in a trance. Perhaps it was just a few seconds, or perhaps a few decades. He didn’t know.
And when he ca back to his senses, he found himself still standing inside that old shop with the middle-aged lady still sitting there leisurely with her eyes closed.
It was as if ti never moved.
Yang Ze regulated his breathing as he looked around, but at the sa ti, he clenched his fists with excitent and suppressed his urge to run out and shout at the top of his lungs.
"Finally sothing good." He couldn’t help but mutter to himself.
The so-called Cauldron of Creation was more like a skill.
He could combine anything to create a new item without any limitations.
This ant he could combine rocks, grass, soil, weapons, even corpses of beasts and everything in his sight with sothing to create an entirely new thing.
Just thinking about it, Yang Ze was already finding it hard to control himself.
It was such a powerful ability... completely out of his understanding that he didn’t even have words to describe it.
But even though he had the Cauldron of creation and could create completely new and different things, there were still a few limitations.
The first limitation was that he could only use it once a week.
And the second limitation was that to get the newly crafted item, he needed to complete a task that would appear after he rged things.
Although he found it weird... especially the second limitation, he didn’t think too much about it.
After all, it was much better than the previous two rewards.
At least he could use this newly gained function for himself.
With a heartful of excitent, he was about to shout when he finally saw the figure of the middle-aged woman sitting there leisurely with her eyes closed.
"Hello." Yang Ze decided to greet her first.
"Just take a look around and find whatever you like." The woman didn’t even open her eyes but simply raised her hand while waving towards Yang Ze, as if she were shooing a dog.
Looking at her actions, Yang Ze was speechless before shaking his head in response.
By now, he was used to how people of this world acted.
He insitinctvly casted a glance at her personal panel.
[Na: Chen Xiu]
[Age: 218 Years]
[Realm: Core Condensation(37%)]
[Physique: None]
[Talent: Late Boor(Green), Herb collector(Green), Firm Mind(white)]
Looking at the panel in front of him, Yang Ze simply narrowed his eyes.
This was perhaps the first ti he was looking at a Core Condensation powerhouse panel. As for Lin ilin... Yang Ze still wasn’t sure about her panel.
Focusing his gaze on the panel in front of him, the first thing that greeted his attention was the ’age’.
In the cultivation world, once soone starts cultivating and reaches the realm of Body Forging, one can live up to one hundred years.
After opening Dantian and stepping into the Pulse Opening realm, the lifespan increases to one hundred and fifty years.
The remaining cultivation realms till Vein Expansion don’t increase lifespan.
It isn’t until one successfully breaks through to the Core Condensation realm that one’s lifespan is increased to five hundred years. This is one of the reasons why those below the Core Condensation realms are always called mortals.
Till now, Yang Ze had only heard about it, but today... he had seen it with his own eyes.
For the first ti, he saw soone over two hundred years old leisurely sitting there with their eyes closed.
After looking at her for a mont, Yang Ze thought about whether to use sign in to one of her talents or not, but in the end held back. He still had ti, and there were plenty of cultivators in this place. He would definitely find a helpful talent.
With this in mind, he began to roam around, quietly looking at the displayed items in the shop.
The majority of the items in the racks were herbs and so powders. Although Yang Ze didn’t have too much interest in the herbs, he still wandered around in a daze.
At the mont, his entire focus was on the newly gained function of Creation Cauldron.
He was still thinking about which items he should try to combine. Hell, if not for the fact that the middle-aged woman sitting there, he would have imdiately tried to rge with sothing.
But with the middle-aged woman in front of him and Lin ilin, who would reach here anyti, he held back his thoughts and just wandered in the shop aimlessly.
He was so lost in his train of thought that he didn’t even bother to use his all-seeing eyes to take a look at the nurous herbs and powders all around him.
And in such a daze, he didn’t even notice the arrival of Lin ilin, who was quietly standing beside him with a smiling face while following his gaze at the herbs.
It wasn’t until a few more minutes passed, and she realised that Yang Ze was just looking around in a daze, that she called out to him.
"Hey."
Just this single word from Lin ilin was enough to sober Yang Ze, who hurriedly turned around to look at her.
"You are here." Yang Ze’s face finally had a sense of relaxation.
Similar to Lin ilin, he, too, was afraid that this woman would leave him alone to run around. Thankfully, the worst-case scenario didn’t happen.
"Is this the place where the Feathergrass is?" Since Lin ilin asked him to et her here, it could only an that this place has the feathergrass.
"Umm.." With a nod, Lin ilin suddenly reached towards his face and, under Yang Ze’s confused face, poked his nose.
"Wait here."
It took a mont for Yang Ze to co back to his senses as he shook his head with a wry smile. He couldn’t understand what was so special about his nose for Lin ilin to keep pressing it.
He then quietly looked at Lin ilin, who was starting to converse with the middle-aged woman sitting there.
Yang Ze didn’t know what the two of them had been talking about as they would occasionally glance in his direction.
After a while, the middle-aged woman simply nodded in response before heading inside the room hidden by the curtain.
And just when Yang Ze was wondering what they were talking about, she ca back, but this ti holding a small exquisite box.
"Here." Handing the box to Yang Ze, the middle-aged woman simply slumped back on the chair.
"Thank you." Yang Ze was about to shed tears of joy. But before he could even say sothing else, the middle-aged woman simply glanced at him while shaking her head.
"No need to thank ."
"Just hand the money."
The smile on Yang Ze’s face froze as the corner of his lips twitched. He then reached inside his robe to take out the purse.
-------------
"What a scam." Walking out of the shop, Yang Ze glared behind him in anger. The middle-aged woman took half of his savings directly. Her price was exaggerated.
If not for the fact that Yang Ze didn’t know about the current market and the preciousness of the herb, he would have definitely argued with her.
Unfortunately for him, he desperately needed it for the Spiritwing.
In the end, he could only keep this matter in his heart.
"The main ingredient is in hand." Looking at the small exquisite box in his hand, Yang Ze let out a hearty smile. With this, he only needed to find suitable locations. And with Lin ilin’s knowledge, it was a done deed.
"Now then..." The two of them walked around for a while before booking two rooms in the inn.
"....." Inside his room, Yang Ze looked at his shrivelled purse before gritting his teeth. The already shrivelled purse shrivelled further after he paid for the rooms.
"At least I am alone now." Muttering to himself, Yang Ze carefully placed the box on the table and then finally focused on the newly gained function.
He thought for a long ti before taking out a small pendant from his robe that he just bought from the shop, and then a few healing herbs.
Without wasting another second, he simply closed his eyes, and when he reopened them, a small illusory cauldron that only he could see appeared in front of him.
Yang Ze didn’t hesitate any further. Without any hesitation, he threw the pendant and the herbs into it.
And in the next instant, the cauldron trembled for a while before a blinding white light filled Yang Ze’s eyes.
And when the light disappeared, there was a pendant in front of him that was obstructed by a thick layer of fog.
"What the..." Yang Ze tried to grab it, but his hands passed directly through it. He tried using his all-seeing eyes, but it didn’t show anything. It was as if the thing in front of him didn’t actually exist in this world.
"What the hell am I..." Yang Ze’s words cut short as the fog in front of him twisted, and a small row of text slowly appeared out of thin air.
[Task: Let Lin ilin call you ’husband.’]
[Reward: Unlocks the item.]
[Remaining ti: Seven Days]
[Failure to complete the task will result in the destruction of the item.]
"This... this... this..." Yang Ze looked at the row of text in front of him before pinching his thighs, wondering if he was seeing things.
But feeling the intense pain, he could only grit his teeth.
"So this is the task!" Looking at the task, Yang Ze gritted his teeth in anger.
As expected of the damned Special Sign in, nothing it gives him ca easily. There was always so kind of trouble.
"How do I do it?" Since it had already co to this, Yang Ze didnt want to just give up.
In the end, he could only grit his teeth as his mind worked at a rapid pace before he finally ca up with an idea...
