The chamber convulsed—walls warping, threads unraveling in spirals—
as the Fractured Titan rose from the void.
It was enormous.
Larger than mory.
Larger than fear.
A towering being of broken tilines and splintered selves, its body wrapped in torn strands of possibility. One arm was made of gold—Erian’s failures. Another dripped crimson—Marra’s buried anger. Its chest pulsed with chaotic color—Tovin’s instability. And its face… its face was a cracked mask of silver—Lun’s pain made monstrous.
The Titan let out a sound like a dying universe exhaling.
The Loomchild staggered back. “It’s not just a creature… it’s everything you feared you’d beco.”
The Titan’s steps shattered the luminous floor.
Threads snapped like brittle glass.
Marra drew in a shaking breath.
“Well. We’ve fought worse.”
Tovin squeaked, “We absolutely have not.”
Erian stepped forward, golden thread pulsing. “We survive this the sa way we survived the trials—together.”
The Titan roared.
The First Strike
A wave of broken mory crashed toward them—visions of their failures, fears, regrets—enough to crush a mind.
Erian t it head-on, golden light flaring.
The wave bent, slowed, but did not break.
“I can hold it—just move!”
Marra sprinted around the Titan’s left, crimson thread igniting her fists. She struck the golden arm—the arm shaped like Erian’s guilt.
The Titan barely flinched.
Tovin raised both hands. “Okay, new plan—NO punching the guilt monster!”
But Marra snarled, “If it’s part of us, it can be broken.”
She struck again. The Titan roared as a crack ford.
Chaos Takes Shape
The Titan’s chest—Tovin’s chaotic colors—began spinning like a cyclone. It sucked the air, the threads, the world itself inward.
Tovin’s eyes widened. “Oh. It’s doing the thing I do when I panic.”
Lun grabbed his shoulder. “Then stabilize it.”
Tovin’s breath hitched—but he nodded.
He raised his thread.
The chaotic storm around the Titan began to sync with his rhythm—wild, unpredictable, but intentional. The Titan staggered, its chest stabilizing for the first ti.
Tovin grinned.
“Ha! Look at that—I’m the calm one here! Weird.”
The Silver Face
The Titan lowered its head, staring at Lun with that cracked silver mask.
Whispers seeped out:
“You will break again.”
“You cannot hold them together.”
“You are a burden disguised as light.”
Lun trembled.
The Loomchild whispered, “Lun… rember your trial.”
The shadow of themself flickered behind them—a reminder, not a threat.
Lun lifted their thread. “I don’t need to be unbroken. I just need to be whole.”
Silver light surged.
The Titan recoiled, its mask splitting down the center.
The Final Push
Erian tightened his grip on the golden wave.
“Now! All together!”
Marra’s crimson fists burned.
Tovin’s chaotic colors aligned.
Lun’s silver radiance steadied.
Four threads snapped toward the Titan—
interlocking—
weaving into a single strike.
The Titan howled—
cracking—
unraveling—
collapsing into a storm of light and dust.
Silence fell.
The chamber steadied.
The Loomchild stepped forward, tears in their glowing eyes.
“You did it… you faced yourselves. And won.”
But the Heart pulsed once more.
“THE UNMAKING RETREATS.
BUT ITS SOURCE REMAINS.”
The floor opened beneath them—revealing a descending path of blinding threadlight.
Erian swallowed hard.
“We’re going deeper.”
