In the dim light, the red wine in the glass flickered with a dark red glimr, as obscure as blood.
Irene Spencer’s face held an inscrutable expression, her eyes fearlessly fixed on Nathan Leafcastle.
"Mr. Leafcastle, I don’t believe... you truly want to lose to Kris Cooper like this willingly?"
Her tone exuded a self-assured confidence.
She understood Nathan Leafcastle; like her, he did not like to lose.

Nathan Leafcastle’s pupils contracted slightly, while opposite him, Irene Spencer had already proactively extended her glass to clink lightly with his.
