Once again, Bob began describing everything from the start. He described from the ti that they had left the central province, heading for the Eastern province.
Thereafter, how they arrived at Riverside Residential district, and headed straight for Michael’s villa. It was just that, no matter how much he tried to rember, he could not recall what had happened after they entered the villa.
Newton was left silent for quite a while, as he was not sure about what to do next. He was currently questioning himself, could it be that he had made a mistake?
Maybe, if he had asked Michael to co back, maybe, his presence might have allowed the old man not to be too shocked by Zachary’s passing?
Judging by what Bob was saying, it was clear that whatever had happened was in one way or the other linked to Michael. There was a possibility that soone else was also involved in this matter, but the highest probability was Michael.
Newton had been having quite a number of doubts regarding Michael, especially after he ca to know that Michael had acquired the shares of Vanguard corporation.
And recently, he had been trying to see if he could acquire the shares of Vanguard Corporation as well. After all, the moves made by Vanguard Corporation were quite big.
And from Newton’s perspective, the future of this security company was going to be bright.
Unexpectedly, when he was planning to buy the shares, he realized that Vanguard corporation was no longer public. Such a big thing, he had not really paid attention to before.
At that ti, when he was inford that Vanguard corporation was no longer public, he suddenly rembered that Bob had inford him of sothing like this before.
But because of the busy schedule and issues related to the silent order syndicate, he did not pay much attention to a company that did not have any involvents with the syndicate.
After knowing this, he no longer paid much attention to this matter. After all, with the company no longer public, it was clear, they had no any intention of involving outsiders in what they were doing.
An initial attempt, which was quite a number of years back, had failed. And with the big moves that this security company was making this ti, it was inevitable that they would once again deny him the chance of buying the shares or owning part of the company.
At that ti, he believed, since the company had gone private, Michael had sold his shares as well. So, he believed, Michael had nothing to do with Vanguard Corporation again.
But now, as he was thinking about it, he realized, it seed that he had taken things too lightly.
Now, thinking about it deeply, how did Michael manage to acquire the shares of Vanguard Corporation, when he himself had failed?
Just from this, it was clear that there was soone that was helping him out. Otherwise, within just a few years, it was impossible for him to be able to rise from an orphan in a desolate city that was controlled by the underworld, to such a level on his own.
From his mories, Newton could rember that, the last ti that he had gotten information on Michael, he had just joined an orphanage, and that orphanage was controlled by a small gang in that city.
From the information that he had acquired, it was clear that Michael’s future wouldn’t be the best. But at least, he would not die.
Newton did not do anything to help out, as he was making sure that there was no hole that could be exploited, to reveal the death of Zachary to the old man.
But now, thinking about the information on Michael, the fact that he owned Sky Technologies that was making big moves as well, and what happened to Bob and Gregory, that there was much more to this.
"It seems that I will have to personally make a trip to the central province." Newton said in a low voice.
At the sa ti, in his mind, he was wondering, did he really make the right call? If he had brought Michael back, especially after Henry ntioned him, what would have happened?
If Michael was linked to a big force, which had several mutants, would that not help the silent order syndicate to deal with the blood reapers syndicate?
But then again, he thought about what Henry had told him back then. From the current relationship shared between the two of them, if Michael ca back, he would definitely find ways to deal with him.
At that ti, Michael’s presence within the Santos family would not bring any harmony or growth, instead, it would be destruction.
Eventually, after thinking for quite a long while, Newton decided to let this matter go. He had to just find a way of finding Gregory, then let this matter slide.
As for what to tell the old man, he would have to think about later on. But for now, he just had to find Gregory, as he was an important part of the silent order syndicate.
For now, apart from himself and Bob, there was nobody else that knew that Gregory had gone to Brenton city. That was of course unless Michael or those involved in the disappearance of Gregory revealed it.
So at the mont, things could be stabilized, giving Newton a chance to be able to act. As long as he was fast enough, it would not be impossible to be able to salvage the situation.
And after handling the old man, it would be the ti to deal with Michael. As for what to do with this nephew of his, who held grudges, Newton was unsure.
"Okay, go back to the hospital, to ensure that your health is not compromised. And after you recover, I will need you to co with to Brenton City." Newton said after thinking for quite a long while.
Upon hearing that he was supposed to accompany Newton back to Brenton city, Bob felt his body trembling. This was sothing that happened, even though he was clueless about the reason behind it.
But from what he felt, it seed that whatever had happened in the central province, he did not want to experience it again.
"Can I not go there? I’m not sure about what happened, but I am afraid that it is not sothing good." Bob asked in a low voice.
Newton frowned slightly when he heard this. This was the first ti that Bob asked not to do what Newton wanted him to.
But looking at his trembling body, it seed that this guy had experienced so kind of terror there. So, the body was experiencing a trauma, even though the mories had already been erased.
"Okay, you can help deal with the issues in the syndicate after coming out. It is only then that I will head to the eastern province, to deal with this issue personally." Newton eventually said.
Bob was relieved upon hearing this. At the sa ti, several thoughts appeared in his mind, but he revealed none of it to Newton.

Since it was the first day of the month of October, as it was previously planned, the combat assessnt was happening today.
It was already 8 in the morning, and all the recruits had already gathered on the training ground.
Apart from the training equipnt and other facilities available in the training ground, there was an arena as well.
This arena was a raised circular platform, standing about 2 ters from the ground. Around this circular ring, several seats had been raised that they allowed those that sat on them to be able to view fights happening in the ring from a higher perspective.
Apart from the recruits that were currently sitting on the seats around the arena, Peter, alongside Richard and a few other staff mbers that were assisting Peter with the training, were also present.
Seeing that everyone was already here, Peter looked at a young man who was sitting next to him.
This young man seed to be in his mid-20s, with dium length black hair and green eyes. He had a dium build, cute wearing a fitted dark training jacket with the sleeves slightly pushed back, paired with reinforced tactical pants and combat boots.
A slim utility belt was tied around his waist, and a small earpiece rested in one ear.
His expression while looking at the new recruits was similar to that of a senior student looking to a lowerclassman.
He was from the previous batch of recruits, and had successfully joined NEXUS 2 years ago.
Today, he asked to co here, to see how good this batch of recruits was going to be. He was thinking, in the future, he would form a team of his own.
Despite Nexus already having a total of four teams, he thought, why not create a fifth one? But of course, that would have to wait, as the plans were still in motion.
Despite being young, he had great ambitions. And more than that, he had the ability to back his ambitions. Therefore, he was not worried at all about soone refusing to give him the chance of creating a new team.
It was impossible for him to be able to poach the mbers of the other teams. So, he decided to set his eyes on the new recruits instead.
What he was interested in was basically the skill level that they possessed when they initially entered the training camp, which could be seen during the combat assessnt.
Then, he would be able to compare that with their growth during the training phase, in order to be sure if they could join his team or not.
Now, facing Peter’s gaze, the young man nodded, before he jumped from his seat, jumping over 3 ters into the air, before he descended and landed heavily on the ring, shocking the recruits.
