After accepting the mission, Fang Tianhe led his n toward the trading hall to purchase ammunition.

Although he had already acquired so special items from the military, they weren’t conventional ammunition and were far too scarce. Regular ammunition still had to be purchased at the rcenary Guild.

The group headed to the second floor. Lin Xinghai quietly dropped to the back of the group, opened the map on his wrist-computer, selected a location, and sent a ssage to Gao Mountain.

Since they were capable of monitoring the Wild Wolf rcenary Corps, the other party couldn’t be stupid enough not to do the sa to them.

Therefore, the Mountain and Sea rcenary Corps couldn’t possibly et with them now. They could only rendezvous outside the Shelter to avoid attracting attention.

After sending the ssage, Lin Xinghai caught up with the rcenary Corps and entered the trading hall.

Shen Han was already talking with the staff, placing a large order for ammunition.

Unlike previous tis, they were making a large-scale purchase of ammunition with area-of-effect damage, like Burning Bullets and Hand Cannon Bullets.

Of course, it wasn’t just Shen Han. The various squad leaders also went up to speak with the staff. If they or their squad mbers had any special requests, they would be the ones to raise them and make the purchase.

Since all the ammunition was refundable, they didn’t have to worry about waste.

Lin Xinghai also stepped forward. He selected a variety of Special Bullets, whether he thought he would need them or not. As for Armor-Piercing Bullets, he bought them in massive quantities.

After all, the Defense Power of the Optimized was comparable to that of a Zombie, not to ntion they wore Combat Suits. If an opponent was wearing a tactical helt, a regular bullet might not guarantee a one-shot kill, even with a headshot.

Since Lin Xinghai was buying mostly Special Bullets, another awkward situation arose. The Special Bullets he selected for himself alone cost 7,000 Points.

But as the most crucial part of the plan, Lin Xinghai’s ammunition supply had to be guaranteed at all costs, so cutting back wasn’t an option.

However, this ant that the 20,000 Points Shen Han had on hand were nowhere near enough to buy all the ammunition.

Facing this situation, Lin Xinghai didn’t wait for Shen Han to ask and directly transferred 26,000 Points to him. Including the 24,000 Points spent at the shooting range, he had now lent the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps a total of 50,000 Points.

True to his character, Shen Han was decisive. With a wave of his hand, he imdiately spent all 26,000 Points, converting them into various types of ammunition.

Such an act left even the trading hall staff secretly astonished, let alone the mbers of the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps.

After all, the total cost of ammunition was approaching 50,000 Points. A normal rcenary Corps would never buy so much ammunition for a mission, especially not with the majority being various types of Special Bullets.

But surprised as they were, as long as the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps could co up with the Points, the staff simply had to follow procedure.

After the purchases were complete, Lin Xinghai checked his account balance. With all the expenses over the past two days, he only had 63,873 Points left.

’The hundred thousand-plus Points I had before really didn’t seem to last long,’ he thought, seeing his Points balance nearly halved.

But he wasn’t worried in the slightest. With the Mountain and Sea rcenary Corps as his personal ATM, his wallet would be full again in a few days.

Once they finished buying ammunition, the group headed straight for the rcenary Plaza. By then, their equipnt requisitions had all been approved and were ready.

Three chas stood atop three Armored Vehicles. Such a combination was incredibly conspicuous among the other rcenary Corps departing at the sa ti.

As they departed, a detailed intelligence report was delivered to the Morgan Conglorate. It ticulously listed everything, from the mission the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps had accepted to the weapons and equipnt they had purchased.

"So they’re finally making their move?" At the Morgan Conglorate headquarters, Gibson held the report, a cold sneer forming on his lips.

"Get this information to the Wild Wolf rcenary Corps. Tell Qiu Taifei to leave none of them alive." He gave the report a cursory glance before speaking to his butler, Winter, who stood beside him.

"Yes, Young Master."

...

Fang Tianhe and the others were unaware of the Morgan Conglorate’s actions, but even so, they could make a pretty good guess.

After leaving the Shelter, they headed toward Changping City.

However, on Fang Tianhe’s orders, they didn’t take the main road. Instead, they turned onto a smaller path and headed in a different direction.

The convoy drove for five minutes before coming to a stop. Awaiting them was an ard military squad, standing in silence.

Next to the squad was a container filled with weapons.

Clearly, this was the pre-arranged handover point between Fang Tianhe and the military. Only outside the Shelter could they be sure there were no Morgan Conglorate spies.

Seeing this, Lin Xinghai couldn’t help but marvel at Fang Tianhe’s extre caution.

"Zhang Yue, thanks for making the trip out here yourself. When we return triumphant, I’ll buy you a drink, and we won’t stop until one of us is under the table," Fang Tianhe said with a laugh, being the first to jump out of his vehicle to greet the approaching officer.

"No, you’re the ones going up against the Morgan Conglorate’s lackeys. I should be the one buying you a drink," Zhang Yue retorted with a smile.

As the two n talked, the soldiers quickly began loading the weapons into the Armored Vehicles.

The most conspicuous items, of course, were the four Dongfeng-I man-portable missiles.

Each missile was as thick as a thigh and a ter tall, and each ca equipped with its own simple launching chanism.

They could be launched manually or connected to a wrist-computer for remote firing, provided, of course, that one had the activation key.

...

At the sa ti, an obscure hunting squad departed from Star Shield Shelter.

But instead of heading to their mission location, they drove a short distance—much like the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps had—before turning onto a small path and entering an unremarkable mountain hollow.

A camouflaged outpost was hidden there.

After entering the outpost, the hunting squad imdiately activated a long-range communication device and sent out a report on the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps’ latest movents.

...

anwhile, after completing the handover, the Heaven-Sundering rcenary Corps was back on the road, heading toward Changping City.

Upon receiving these military-grade weapons, those in the know, like Lin Xinghai, remained calm, but the regular mbers were practically buzzing with excitent.

It wasn’t just the new recruits; even the veteran mbers had never imagined their leader’s relationship with the military was this strong.

Due to its imnse power, this kind of military-grade equipnt was normally strictly forbidden from being sold to rcenary Corps.

But for that very reason, seeing this display caused everyone’s morale to skyrocket. Lin Xinghai reckoned that even if he told them the Wild Wolf rcenary Corps was backed by the Morgan Conglorate, they wouldn’t feel a shred of fear.

Of course, just boosting the morale of the regular mbers wasn’t enough.

Lin Xinghai glanced at the solemn expressions of Fang Tianhe, Shen Han, and the others. ’Looks like their morale could use a boost, too,’ he thought.

"Commander, pull over in eight kiloters," Lin Xinghai said.

"Hm?" Fang Tianhe shot him a questioning glance.

"I’ve invited an ally to help us in this fight," Lin Xinghai explained.
