....

After Few Days...

As the second schedule officially began, the atmosphere around the set felt entirely different from the emotionally crushing first schedule.

There were still serious monts.

There were still emotional scenes.

But now the story was focused on the happier mories of Ram and Janani.

The mories that would later make the audience's hearts ache when they rembered how everything ended.

Inside his caravan, Karuppu sat before the mirror while the makeup team prepared him for the day.

This version of Ram was several years younger than the man audiences had seen in the first schedule.

This was Ram after graduation.

Before marriage.

Before depression.

Before the hallucinations.

Before tragedy.

A young man still trying to figure out his future.

The hairstylist studied Karuppu for several monts before beginning work.

The director wanted a more youthful look.

More energetic. More modern.

After several discussions, they finally settled on a sharp spiky hairstyle.

The front hair stood upward with textured spikes, giving Ram a more carefree and youthful appearance.

Combined with Karuppu's naturally sharp facial features, the hairstyle made him look noticeably different from the tired, broken Ram seen in the first schedule.

Then ca the beard.

Instead of being completely clean-shaven, a neatly maintained French beard was added along with a light trimd beard.

Not enough to make him appear older.

Just enough to give him a mature college graduate look.

When the makeup artist finally stepped aside, Karuppu glanced at himself in the mirror.

For a mont he almost didn't recognize himself.

"Not bad."

The hairstylist grinned proudly.

-Grin!

"Not bad?"

"I worked for forty minutes."

Karuppu laughed hearing his hairstylist complaint.

"-Haha!!!"

"Fine."

"You look like a hero."

"Better."

That earned him a playful smack from the stylist.

The costu departnt soon arrived with the clothes selected for Ram.

Unlike the first schedule where Ram mostly wore formal shirts, suits, and office attire, this younger version of Ram dressed more casually.

Full-sleeve shirts. Folded sleeves.

Jeans.

Watches.

Simple chains.

The wardrobe reflected a young man who had recently entered adulthood.

Nothing flashy. Nothing extravagant.

Just realistic.

When Karuppu finally stepped out of the caravan, several crew mbers actually paused.

"...."

"...."

"...."

One assistant director blinked looking at the transition.

"Where did our depressed Ram go?"

Another pointed at Karuppu.

"This looks like Ram's younger brother."

The set imdiately filled with laughter.

Even through Karuppu was the hero and a star he had a good relationship with the crew mbers he was working with.

He treated them like a friend which made him have a good reputations with the crew he was working with.

Soon the caras were ready.

The first scene of the schedule was prepared.

The location was a temple.

The scene itself was simple.

But emotionally important.

This was one of the first major cracks in Ram and Janani's relationship before marriage.

Not because they stopped loving each other.

But because life was beginning to pull them in different directions.

The caras rolled.

And Aishwariya called out action as the scene started.

"Action."

Janani stood beside Ram outside the temple.

The evening bells rang softly in the background.

Devotees moved around them.

The atmosphere felt peaceful.

Yet Janani looked nervous.

She hesitated for several monts before speaking.

"My mother's visa got approved."

Ram listened quietly.

"...."

Janani continued to speak seeing Ram's silence...

"We might leave for the United States soon."

Before she could finish explaining...

Ram interrupted her.

"Then go."

The words ca instantly.

Without hesitation. Without emotion.

Janani froze hearing his words.

"...."

She had clearly expected sothing else.

Perhaps concern for their relationship.

Perhaps sadness for the awaiting departure of her.

Perhaps a request for her to stay.

Instead... Just a simple "go."

The hurt slowly appeared on her face.

Ram avoided her eyes.

"Do whatever you want."

His voice remained calm. Too calm.

Janani waited. Hoping he would say sothing more.

"...."

"...."

Anything. But he didn't.

The silence beca unbearable.

Eventually she nodded. A small, disappointed nod.

-Nod!

Then slowly walked away.

The cara remained on Ram.

Watching her leave.

Only after she disappeared from sight did the sadness appear in his eyes.

A sadness he had desperately hidden monts earlier.

"Cut."

Aishwarya smiled lightly.

"Good."

The emotional restraint worked perfectly.

Neither character expressed their true feelings.

Which made the scene stronger.

After a short break, the crew moved to the next major scene.

Kumaran's farewell party.

This scene carried a completely different emotion.

Kumaran wasn't just another friend.

He was Ram's childhood companion.

The friend who had grown up beside him.

The friend who knew every embarrassing story.

Every school fight. Every childhood dream.

Now he was leaving.

London.

A new job.

A new life.

And perhaps a future where they would rarely et.

The party location had been transford into a lively gathering.

Music.

Friends.

Food.

Laughter.

Everyone appeared happy.

Except Ram.

As shooting began, Kumaran happily moved around greeting friends.

Talking excitedly about London.

About opportunities. About the future.

Everyone congratulated him.

anwhile Ram sat quietly with a drink in hand.

Watching. Listening.

Smiling occasionally.

But his smile never fully reached his eyes.

Because unlike everyone else... He wasn't thinking about London's opportunities.

He was thinking about what he was losing.

The realization that childhood was ending.

One friend leaving.

And his lover preparing to move abroad.

Life moving forward whether he liked it or not.

Karuppu portrayed the emotion subtly.

No dramatic crying. No speeches.

Just quiet sadness hidden beneath forced smiles.

When Aishwarya watched the monitor, she nodded approvingly.

This was exactly the Ram she wanted.

Not the broken Ram of the future.

Not the cheerful lover.

Just a young man standing at the crossroads of adulthood.

Slowly realizing that no matter how much he wanted things to stay the sa...

Life never asked for permission before changing.

The second schedule continued smoothly, and before long the production reached one of the most unusual songs in the entire film.

"Why This Kolaveri Di."

Even before shooting began, the song had already beco a favorite among the crew.

Not because of grand lyrics.

Not because of complicated choreography.

Not because of expensive sets.

It was simply fun.

The kind of song that got stuck in people's heads whether they wanted it or not.

Many assistant directors had already started humming it unconsciously while working.

Even the light boys could occasionally be heard singing "Why this kolaveri kolaveri kolaveri di..." while moving equipnt.

For the song shoot, choreographer Baba Bhaskar had designed intentionally funny and quirky dance movents.

Nothing polished. Nothing overly stylish.

The dances were supposed to look spontaneous and playful.

As though Ram was simply expressing his heartbreak in the most ridiculous way possible.

The shooting location was a coastal area outside Chennai.

Part of the song would be fild on the beach.

Another portion inside a nearby market street.

The art departnt had already begun decorating the location.

Colorful shops.

Banners.

Temporary stalls.

Extras moving around.

The place slowly transford into a lively environnt.

anwhile, filming hadn't started yet.

Which ant everyone was waiting.

And whenever Karuppu had free ti...

He usually found food.

Currently, he was sitting beneath a temporary shade near the beach.

A plate of freshly fried mirchi bajji rested in his hands.

The aroma alone was enough to attract half the crew.

The actor carefully used tissue paper to absorb so of the excess oil before taking a bite.

Crunch.

His face imdiately brightened.

"Perfect."

Beside him sat Shruti.

She would be appearing in several portions of the song as one of Ram's emotional hallucinations and mories.

Having nothing better to do while waiting for setup, she had joined him.

Unfortunately for her...

That also ant watching him devour fried snacks without guilt.

Shruti rolled her eyes.

"Do you ever care about your figure?"

Karuppu looked down at the bajji.

Then at her.

"...."

Then back at the bajji.

"No."

Shruti sighed hearing his carefree reply.

"You're impossible."

Another bite disappeared.

"You know how much oil is in that?"

Karuppu laughed hearing her tone.

"That's why I'm using tissue."

"That doesn't count."

"It absolutely counts."

"It doesn't."

"It does."

Their argunt continued for several monts.

Finally, Karuppu placed the half-eaten bajji aside.

"Fine."

"What's fine?"

"You want proof?"

Before Shruti could understand what he ant, Karuppu shalessly lifted his shirt slightly.

"See?"

Shruti froze caught off by the sudden view.

"...."

For a mont her brain simply stopped working.

The actor spent most of his ti either shooting films or playing professional cricket.

The result was obvious.

His physique reflected years of constant activity.

Not overly bulky. Not bodybuilder-sized.

Just naturally athletic.

Defined shoulders. Visible muscle lines.

A lean fra built through movent rather than gym obsession.

The sight caught her completely off guard.

Shruti imdiately coughed and looked away.

-Cough!

"Put that down! Pervert..."

Karuppu burst into laughter.

"-Hahaha!!!"

"You asked."

"I didn't ask for a demonstration!"

Several nearby crew mbers who overheard the conversation started laughing as well.

One assistant director muttered.

"Poor Shruti."

Another nodded his head.

"She walked into that one."

Shruti shot them a glare.

"...."

The assistants imdiately pretended to be busy.

anwhile Karuppu calmly returned to eating.

As though nothing unusual had happened.

Which sohow made the situation even worse.

"It's unfair."

Shruti finally complained her heart out.

"What is?"

"You eat everything."

Another bite was taken by the curious Karuppu who was looking at her.

"You barely exercise in front of people."

Another bite.

"You never seem worried."

Another bite.

"And sohow you still look like that."

Karuppu shrugged his shoulder.

"It's simple."

"It won't be simple."

"It is."

He pointed toward the beach.

"Shooting."

Then toward the cricket kit resting nearby not his one of the crew mbers who will acting as a passing by.

"Cricket."

Then toward the set where he had been running around all morning.

"Work."

Finally he pointed toward himself.

"My body doesn't get enough ti to sit still."

Shruti reluctantly admitted he had a point.

Between cricket, films, training, traveling, and endless schedules, Karuppu practically lived in motion.

The actor suddenly extended the plate toward her.

"Want one?"

Shruti looked at the remaining bajji.

Then at him.

"...."

Then at the bajji again.

"I shouldn't."

"Correct."

She nodded her head with a sigh.

Then imdiately took one.

Karuppu laughed seeing how reluctant she was but still she took one.

"There it is."

"One won't change anything."

"That's exactly what I say."

"Don't compare us."

The two continued chatting while eating.

The sea breeze rolled in from the shoreline.

Crew mbers hurried around preparing the shoot.

Baba Bhaskar was already demonstrating dance steps to a group of backup dancers.

Anirudh had arrived at the location and was discussing playback timing with the sound team.

For a brief mont, before the caras rolled and work resud, everything felt relaxed.

Simple.

Comfortable.

Just two sitting near a beach.

Sharing snacks.

Laughing at each other.
