Uzumaki Shuji slowly descended from the sky.
When he was about ten centiters above the ground, the Chains of Heaven vanished, and he landed lightly.
His gaze fixed on Obito and Itachi Uchiha as he spoke.
"What did you say?"
"He's… Obito?!"
Kakashi Hatake stared at the masked man in disbelief.
His eye widened as he examined him from head to toe.
He was both excited and deeply shaken.
If this man truly was Obito, then what about everything he had done?
Kakashi could not make sense of it.
"I don't know who you're talking about."
Obito was equally stunned.
His pupil contracted sharply, though he forced his voice into a hoarse, emotionless tone.
At the sa ti, his mind raced.
How had his identity been exposed?
He had long abandoned the na Obito Uchiha.
Now he was Madara Uchiha.
So why did this child know the truth?
"When I was born, I really have to thank you for those explosive tags you gifted ."
"The kindness you showed that day is sothing I'll rember for the rest of my life."

Uzumaki Shuji's eyes turned cold.
"Are you ready to die?"
He had no intention of explaining himself.
The mont he opened his eyes after being born, before he even understood where he was, explosive tags had been attached to his body.
That had been the closest he had ever co to death.
Because of that mont, he had spent his entire life being cautious, hiding every secret.
In this world, death could co at any second.
Obito was the first person to teach him that lesson.

Obito was genuinely shocked.
Everyone present that night had died.
The only survivors were these two brothers.
That ant Uzumaki Shuji had been conscious from the mont of his birth?
But Uzumaki Shuji's response was two golden chains lancing through Obito's intangible body.
"This one is mine."
He spoke to Fugaku and Kakashi.
"You deal with Itachi."
"Everyone else, fall back and inform Shikaku Nara to secure the village. Don't let anything happen internally."
"Understood!"
Fugaku accepted imdiately and charged toward his son.
"Are you really Obito?"
Kakashi, however, remained fixated on that single question.
"If you insult Rin Nohara, you'll get your answer."
Uzumaki Shuji replied calmly.
At the sa ti, golden ripples continued to appear behind him as more Chains of Heaven erged one after another.
He was thodically burning through Obito's five-minute intangibility limit.
"You little bastard!"
Obito exploded in rage.
Rin was the one subject no one was allowed to touch.
Even if he believed everything could be restored through the Infinite Tsukuyomi, that wound remained untouchable.
"To be manipulated like a puppet and still strut around acting like a god…"
Uzumaki Shuji sneered.
"You're revolting."
At the sa ti, he extended his hand and grasped the crimson spiral sword, Ea (Sword of Rupture).
Aside from exhausting Obito's intangibility, Uzumaki Shuji's only real chance of hitting him was to tear through space itself with Ea.
But that required the perfect opening.
"I was only planning to have so fun tonight."
Obito's voice grew icy.
"But now you absolutely have to die."
He lunged at Uzumaki Shuji.
Countless Chains of Heaven passed through his body as he phased through them.
Yet as he neared Uzumaki Shuji, the chains multiplied until they almost completely surrounded him.
With Uzumaki Shuji's spirit stat approaching 800, his mana regeneration was now over 400 points per second.
The cost of summoning ordinary chains was practically negligible.
"You call this power?"
Uzumaki Shuji smirked.
"No wonder all you could do was watch Rin die."
Obito's fury intensified.
Behind Uzumaki Shuji, Naruto remained suspended in the air, still sleeping peacefully under a gentle illusion.
Until Naruto could defend himself, Uzumaki Shuji had no choice but to keep protecting him this way.
"Sharingan Genjutsu!"
Unable to reach Uzumaki Shuji physically, Obito resorted to illusion.
Surely a child this young couldn't excel at everything.
"Sharingan Genjutsu."
A Mangekyō Sharingan appeared within the golden ripples behind Uzumaki Shuji.
It was the eye of Uzumaki Shuji.
The two illusions collided.
Obito's genjutsu struck Uzumaki Shuji—

Uzumaki Shuji's illusion, however, hit Obito directly.
Obito froze.
For less than half a second.
When he regained consciousness, several Chains of Heaven were already within five centiters of his body.
A flicker of fear crossed his mind.
"What is that eye?"
Obito was genuinely shaken.
Why could a floating Sharingan cast such a powerful illusion?
Its potency had even surpassed his own.
If he had not possessed a Mangekyō Sharingan himself, he might not have broken free in ti.
"Obito!"
Kakashi finally snapped.
He charged forward, face twisted with anger.
"Why?!"
"Why did you attack Sensei and Kushina-sensei?!"
By now, he was almost certain.
The masked man was indeed Obito.
But he could not understand.
Why would Obito do such a thing?
"I don't have ti to watch a reunion."
Uzumaki Shuji flicked a finger.
The Chains of Heaven shot out and bound Kakashi before he could get any closer.
If Kakashi got entangled with Obito, Uzumaki Shuji's chains would lose much of their effectiveness.
An extra person in the battlefield would only interfere.
So it was better to tie him up first.
That way, Kakashi wouldn't get himself killed—
And he wouldn't beco a hindrance.
