Chapter 1496: Chapter 1496: Lure the Tiger Away from the Mountain of Leaving

Hagan Marsh?

Colton Leopold’s heart jolted. He wanted to open the concealed weapon box, but his body was utterly devoid of strength.

He couldn’t even speak, let alone call for help.

He’s finished.

Overturned in the gutter.

Probably going to get beaten until his guts spill.

“Oh, I almost forgot—you three can’t talk right now.” Hagan Marsh’s eyes flashed with malice, and the blade in his hand slowly slid across Colton Leopold’s arm.

Blood seeped out, drop by drop.

The three n wore expressions of terror, wanting either to beg for rcy or discuss terms, but no sound could co out of their mouths.

“And you three pigs think you can outsmart ?” Devlin pulled out another cigarette from his pocket and clamped it between his teeth. “Idiots.”

Then he spoke again.

He took out his phone and stepped back a few paces.

After repeatedly adjusting the angle, Devlin finally captured a satisfactory photo.

In the photo, it seed like a voyeuristic shot, recording the image of Hagan Marsh holding a blade against Colton Leopold’s neck.

Devlin clicked “send” and added a short note.

“Swimming City.”

After finishing, he crushed the phone in his hand with a single grip.

“Now, imdiately transfer the military authority of all three of you to Hagan Marsh,” Devlin leaned into Colton Leopold’s face, extinguishing his cigarette stub harshly against his body.

Pain!

Colton Leopold’s face went deathly pale, but he couldn’t make a sound.

“There’s only one chance.” As he spoke, Devlin grabbed the concealed weapon box from the table, flicked away the cigarette stub with his other hand, and retrieved a spray-like object, gently spraying it over them.

“Hoo!”

For a brief mont, the three regained so semblance of strength.

“Hagan Marsh, this is Swimming City! This is Hakeem Ridge’s main base! If you know what’s good for you, leave imdiately! Otherwise, none of us will get out alive!” Silas Cook said angrily, though his body was still feeble; he could rely manage to speak.

“Oh, really?” Devlin suddenly laughed. “Commander Marsh, your master may enter.”

“Mm.” Hagan Marsh nodded, pulled out his phone, and pressed the send button.

The three inside the room dared not act rashly.

Colton Leopold was a smart man and chose silence.

Hakeem Ridge likewise remained silent.

“Outside are my people. Prince Bradley, you’d better think carefully. As soon as I shout, hundreds of concealed weapons will imdiately aim at you! There’s no way you’ll escape!” As the most influential figure in the Middle Three Rord, Silas Cook spoke with more audacity than the other two.

Suddenly, chaos erupted outside.

The faces of the three inside the room changed drastically!

This was Hakeem Ridge’s stronghold, usually guarded by hundreds.

If trouble occurred here, within three minutes, thousands from the neighboring military camp near Swimming City would co as reinforcents.

Who dared to wreak havoc here?

Swish!

The door burst open.

“Commander, a group of strange people has co, and half of our brothers are either dead or wounded…”

The guard halted mid-sentence.

He could clearly see Hagan Marsh’s blade held firmly against Colton Leopold’s throat.

Swish!

The concealed weapon box fired.

The guard fell straight to the ground.

Devlin’s concealed weapon box still emitted a faint smoke.

“So, Commander Cook, do you have any other cards to play?” Devlin raised the concealed weapon box, aiming it at Silas Cook’s head.

“I warn you, if you dare—”

Swish!

A dart pierced through Silas Cook’s temple and embedded itself in the wall.

Thud!

Silas Cook, who had been speaking so boldly monts earlier, limply collapsed onto the table, blood spreading everywhere.

“I have a bad temper and enjoy killing.” Devlin pulled out three cigarettes from his pocket, lit them, and stuck them into the concealed weapon box hole lodged in Silas Cook’s head.

“In your next life, rember to be a pig.”

After finishing, he turned to smile at Colton Leopold.

This smile made Colton Leopold wet his pants.

Drip.

Liquid trickled down his pant leg and onto the floor.

Privileged and pampered.

When had he ever faced such a life-and-death threat?

Silas Cook’s eyes remained wide open!

“Thank you, Mr. Leopold.” Devlin searched his pocket but could only find an empty cigarette box.

He directly pulled a cigarette from Silas Cook’s skull and clamped it in his mouth.

Blood had already stained the filter, even while the other end slowly burned.

But he didn’t care.

“Hiss…” Devlin inhaled deeply, and the cigarette butt instantly lit up brightly.

“Without you, it would’ve been hard to gather all three of you in one place at the sa ti. If even one of you had acted out, the others would imdiately be on high alert.”

Then he handed the cigarette over, stuffing it into Colton Leopold’s mouth.

Disgusting!

Bloody!

It was Silas Cook’s blood!

Colton Leopold’s mouth twitched uncontrollably as he forced an awkward smile. “Prince Bradley, as long as we get to live, everything else is negotiable. You want people, right? I’ll give you all of them!”

“Yes! Yes! Yes!” Hakeem Ridge chid in, nodding emphatically.

His heart boiled with hatred toward Colton Leopold!

That imbecile!

“If I barged directly in, you three would’ve surely left yourselves an escape route. But by subduing all three of you first, there’s no such worry.” Devlin placed the concealed weapon box against Hakeem Ridge’s head. “Speak. Where’s the secret passage?”

“Under… under the table!” Hakeem Ridge gritted his teeth and revealed the truth.

“Excellent. To be honest, I don’t need your n. Because soon, they’ll all be mine.”

Swish!

Devlin fired a dart from the concealed weapon box, and Hakeem Ridge’s body slumped backward.

Dead.

The only one left, Colton Leopold, was now ashen-faced.

“Relax, I won’t kill you,” Hagan Marsh chuckled sinisterly. “Once the City Lord is dealt with, we’ll still need you alive as a witness to rally the Middle Three Rord brothers and face off with the other two factions.”

“Good! Good! Good!” Colton Leopold was dumbfounded.

“How is it looking?” Just then, a man clad in bizarre attire entered the room.

Behind him were more than ten younger n dressed similarly.

“Master.” Hagan Marsh respectfully bowed.

The man’s chest bore a skull tattoo, his hands adorned with rings carved into skulls.

Most striking of all, around his neck hung a chain of children’s skulls!

Brutal to an extre!

“Ghost King.” Devlin stood up as well, nodding slightly out of courtesy. “From here on, everything depends on you.”

He then retrieved a phone from Colton Leopold’s jacket and threw it over. “Old Leopold, handle things here. Before the City Lord arrives, I don’t want anyone else interfering.”

“Understood! Understood!” Colton Leopold tremblingly took the phone, dialing a number. “I’ve had too much to drink with Commander Ridge. We don’t like being disturbed. You all need to withdraw imdiately—no one should remain in Swimming City! Assassins? Dead. Don’t make repeat myself!”

Once finished, he hung up.

“Perfect. Thank you.” Devlin glanced at his watch and remarked, “In ten minutes, the City Lord should arrive.”

“Ha-ha, I’m curious to see what this City Lord of Swimming City is capable of!” Ghost King grabbed Silas Cook’s skull and inhaled deeply.

“Delicious!”

He wiped his mouth clean of blood, greedily burping in satisfaction.

Colton Leopold instinctively felt nauseous, but the others seed accustod to such scenes, showing no reaction.

“Andrew, take down that woman. Once she’s gone, Pendleton will have no equal. The Holy Master holds her in extrely high regard.” Devlin sat in the chair, made a phone call, and casually remarked with a grin, “Don’t forget to restore my status as Vein Holder after the deed is done.”

At the sa ti.

City Lord’s Mansion.

The gates were wide open.

Ian Jorden held a long blade, leading over three-quarters of the mansion’s guards, riding trucks toward Swimming City.
