Every eye was frozen in shock.
The thing Jax had just done. The kick. The scream. Zharina writhing on the ground clutching herself.
It made them stunned. Too stunned to react.
Then they snapped out of it.
Jax was tackled to the ground. Multiple bodies piled on him. Hands pressing him down. Voices shouting.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?!"
"Have you lost your mind?!"
"You attacked a professor!"
One after another they scolded him. Scread at him. Called him every na they could think of.
anwhile, Lysandra’s cold voice cut through.
"Guards. Seize the girl."
The soldiers moved. Three of them approached Maya with chains ready.
Maya’s eyes went wide with terror.
But before they could reach her, Jax exploded.
He broke through the pile of bodies holding him down. His sword was still on the ground sowhere. Didn’t matter. He had his fists.
The first guard reached for Maya.
Jax’s fist connected with his helt. tal dented inward. The man flew backward and crashed into the dirt.
The second guard swung at him.
Jax ducked. Ca up with an uppercut that shattered through the chin guard. Another body hit the ground.
His knuckles were bleeding. Skin torn open against tal. Pain screaming through his hands.
He didn’t care.
Maya watched her brother fight. Against all odds. Against an entire army. For her.
She didn’t think about the situation. Didn’t calculate the chances. Didn’t consider escape routes.
She just moved.
Her arms wrapped around him from behind. Her face pressed into his back. Holding tight.
’This is it.’
She knew what would happen. He would be eliminated. Sent back to Earth. Gone.
And her? She would wait for this ga to end. About a year. Then she would be reincarnated here. Powerless. As punishnt from their god.
Life would be boring. Painful. Struggling to survive without magic in a world that ran on it. And knowing that god, he would probably add more punishnts just for his anger.
She was scared.
But feeling her brother’s warmth made that fear fade away. It always did.
"Thank you for everything, brother."
Her voice was small. Accepting.
Jax was about to turn. About to say sothing.
But Lysandra spoke first.
"Professor Jax."
Her amber eyes were fixed on Maya. Studying her. Analyzing.
"Co to your senses. That girl is manipulating you. Everyone here can see it."
She stepped forward.
"This might be her magic. Her spell. The sa power she used to assemble that army. To control those out worldly. To orchestrate this invasion."
Her voice hardened.
"This is your last chance. Be sensible. Step away from her. Or we will hold both of you captive."
Jax felt Maya’s grip tighten. Fear transmitted through her fingers.
Then he heard it.
A conversation. Quiet. But not quiet enough.
Aerisya was speaking to Lysandra. Her ancient voice carried a suggestion.
"Headmistress, perhaps we should consider the possibility that this boy has been compromised beyond recovery. His attachnt to enemy combatants suggests deep ntal corruption. It would be rciful to eliminate him now before he causes more damage to himself and others."
She paused.
"And the girl should be executed publicly. As a ssage."
Lysandra nodded slightly. "For that girl part its a reasonable assessnt. It will act as a ssage for other another world peoples who are just hiding as we had heard through these captives."
Sothing inside Jax snapped.
He turned his head slowly. His eyes locked onto Lysandra.
"You know what, Headmistress?"
His voice was calm. Too calm.
"I’ve been respectful. I’ve played along with your academy’s bullshit. I’ve followed rules. Attended classes. Pretended to give a fuck about your politics."
He took a step forward. Maya still clinging to his back.
"But I’m done."
His lips curled into sothing cruel.
"You want to talk about manipulation? About climbing ranks through dirty thods?"
He laughed. Cold. Bitter.
"Let’s talk about how a demon’s whore like you beca headmistress."
Silence fell over the battlefield.
"Everyone in this world knows the truth. You didn’t earn that position through skill. Through leadership. Through intelligence."
His eyes traced her body with deliberate disgust.
"You sucked your way to the top. Every promotion. Every advancent. Every step up the ladder ca with your knees on the floor and your mouth full of soone else’s ambition."
Gasps echoed around them.
"Your entire career is built on the backs of n who used you and threw you away. And you call that achievent? You call that power?"
He spat on the ground.
"You’re nothing but a succubus pretending to have standards. A hell-spawned cock sleeve who learned to wear fancy clothes and speak with authority."
Lysandra’s face had gone pale. Then red. Her composure cracking.
"And your family?" Jax continued. "Those sisters of yours scattered across every kingdom? Climbing their own ranks the sa way you did?"
He smiled. Vicious.
"I know about them. The whole network of whores spreading their legs for influence. Must be a family tradition. Mother taught you well."
His voice dropped to sothing dangerous.
"Let give you a warning, Headmistress. One warning. If you say one more word against my sister. If you even look at her wrong."
He leaned forward.
"I will make sure every single one of your prostitute relatives cuts ties with you. Disowns you. Pretends you never existed."
His eyes went dark.
"And it will happen when they see my art, that weapon between your legs? That overused gateway you’ve built your entire life around? I will curse it into sothing so demonic, so twisted, that no man will ever touch you again without screaming."
He straightened up.
"You’ll spend the rest of your miserable existence alone. Worthless. Unable to do the one thing you were ever good at."
Dead silence.
Then Lysandra broke.
Her calm deanor. Her composed expression. Her controlled aura.
All of it shattered.
How would she not break even a Monk will break hearing this and will swing a sword to kill.
Dark energy began glowing around her body. Violet threads materialized in the air. Her eyes burned with sothing beyond anger.
Pure. Murderous. Intent.
Beside her, Rowen gripped his axe with white knuckles. Gareth’s magic circles flickered to life. Aerisya’s ancient power humd dangerously.
But not everyone was angry.
Kessiri had her hand over her mouth. Her shoulders were shaking. Barely containing laughter.
Lucindra wasn’t even trying to hide it. A wide grin spread across her vampiric face. Her eyes sparkled with entertainnt.
’This is the most fun I’ve had in years no from my birth.’
But they both knew. Jax was in real danger now.
Lysandra’s voice ca out distorted. Layered with power.
"Bring this bastard and that girl to . Before I kill them myself."
The army moved.
Hundreds of soldiers. The victorious army that had just slaughtered an invasion force. Ready for another small war.
Most of them didn’t even know what was happening. They just followed orders.
The four heroines watched from the sidelines.
Thalia’s face was flushed. ’He really did sothing he shouldn’t have. Maybe that girl seduced him... offered him sothing...’ She thought of his pervertness. Her blush deepened.
Zinnia was enjoying every second. Not a single flinch. Just pure entertainnt.
Kiera felt the sa. Happy. Satisfied. Watching the chaos unfold.
Azara was the only one worried. Her heart was pounding. She wanted to help. But how? She couldn’t win against an entire army.
But her body moved anyway.
She started running toward Jax. Ready to stand by his side. Ready to fight impossible odds.
She was halfway there when a voice cut through everything.
"HOLD ON!"
Loud. Commanding. Royal.
Queen Sylvie.
She stood up from her healing session. The entire field went silent.
’What now? What other insanity will this day bring?’
Sylvie walked toward Lysandra. Roxana followed close behind, still limping.
"Headmistress Lysandra."
Her voice was calm but firm.
"I believe there is sothing missing here. A factor we have overlooked. Jax is hiding sothing. Or he doesn’t want to reveal it yet."
She stood between Jax and the army.
"But I am certain of one thing. Jax is not the type of person who would be controlled by a girl."
She glanced back at him.
"I know him. Not for long. But enough to understand his nature. He is not the pervert you all think."
Her own mories contradicted her words. She had seen him. Fucking those champions. Using won like toys.
But she continued anyway. Because she had faith.
"He is calculating. He hides things. But he has never hard an innocent person."
Her voice grew stronger.
"He saved from a death I had accepted. He saved Queen Adelina from ruin. He saved two kingdoms. And you call him a traitor?"
She turned to face Lysandra directly.
"Hear my warning, Headmistress. If anything happens to him, I will go against the academy. Personally."
Her eyes were ice.
"And Queen Adelina will be far worse than . I can sense it from the stories my sister told. They two have a good unknown bond that we cant tell for now."
She paused.
"Consider that a possibility. I am not saying I’m completely right about him. Which is why I propose we interrogate him. Right here. Right now. Let him explain."
Her voice softened slightly.
"Just be logical. Drop your anger. Listen to his motives."
Silence stretched.
Lysandra’s dark energy flickered. Her fists clenched so hard her knuckles went white.
Then slowly, painfully, she spoke.
"Army. Stand down. Clear the ground."
The soldiers hesitated. Then obeyed.
All eyes turned to Jax.
Sylvie walked toward him.
