So she was startled awake.

"Don’t say that, you’re already amazing. Don’t overthink it, okay?" Xu Yi said as he moved to the stove and poured hot water into a clay basin.
"Co on, freshen up and get ready for breakfast. After breakfast, go lie down and rest. When you’re sick, you need extra rest, not to ntion you’re on your period," Xu Yi said, handing the clay basin with warm water to Lu Ke.
"Xu Yi..." Lu Ke’s eyes filled with tears instantly.
"Alright, go wash your face, don’t think too much about it. Everybody gets under the weather sotis; we’re not robots," Xu Yi said with a smile, heading over to start the fire.
He still needed to cook potatoes for Lu Ke’s breakfast and brew peppermint water.
Even though it was Lu Ke’s period, he thought she could still drink a bit of peppermint water to alleviate the cold symptoms.
After freshening up, Lu Ke saw Xu Yi munching on jerky in front of the earth stove.
"Wait a mont, I’m cooking so potatoes for you, they’re not ready yet," Xu Yi said, taking a sip of hot water and continuing to chew on the jerky.
Lu Ke nodded and sat nearby, waiting.
The sunshine on her skin was still a bit harsh, but it was much gentler compared to the previous day.

"No, save it for your lunch. You should eat light for now," Xu Yi refused and continued peeling flax, working even faster than Lu Ke usually did.
