Chapter 1242: Chapter 1242: Scarlett is in big trouble
After she finished showering and washing her hair, she changed into a new set of clothes and went downstairs. The personal doctor had already arrived and, after a simple dical checkup, said, “Master Gong, Miss Chi’s leg injury is quite serious. It’s best to go to the hospital for an X-ray to check if the bone is injured.”
Chi Enen pulled down the hem of her skirt to cover her left leg and knee stained with blood stasis, which looked shocking, and she lifted her head to tell Quan Dongting, “Little Uncle, no need for a checkup, I haven’t hurt my bone. If I truly hurt my bone, I would feel it myself.”
The personal doctor disagreed and said, “Miss Chi is mistaken. For injuries like soft tissue contusions, it’s generally very rare for the patient to notice. I think it’s best to go to the hospital for an X-ray, just in case.”
“I really didn’t hurt my bone, it’s just a bruise that looks frightening.”
Injuries involving muscles and bones take a hundred days to heal; she didn’t want to go to the hospital, fearing she wouldn’t co out for several days. She wanted to resolve the matter with Scarlett quickly to avoid Scarlett causing trouble again.
Quan Dongting, being who he is, instantly saw through what Chi Enen was worried about and asked, “Hass, is the car ready?”
“Yes, Master Gong, it’s ready and can depart at any ti.”
Quan Dongting stood up, his tea-colored pupils fell on Chi Enen, and he extended a calm and steady hand to support her, “Let’s go.”
Chi Enen felt grateful inside but didn’t lodramatically thank him, and followed Quan Dongting into the car.
Quan Dongting’s car was a Phaeton; although not the most expensive type among luxury cars, it was low-key and comfortable, matching Quan Dongting’s personality perfectly.
Soon, the Phaeton entered the Garden Villa just outside the city center where Prince William resides.
Prince William had postponed etings upon returning to the country due to Xi Zelie’s phone call. Upon arriving ho, he received Quan Dongting’s call, vaguely feeling sothing had happened which he did not know about.
Returning ho, he inquired the villa’s servant and discovered that Scarlett had sneaked out while he was absent, and had ‘fainted’ and was brought back by Xi Zelie, only just waking up now.
He furrowed his eyebrows briefly and headed toward the living room.
Xi Zelie was sitting on the living room sofa, with the Princess by his side. The two hardly communicated, with a coffee cup in front of each, silently drinking coffee together.
Though accustod to seeing how his princess and her forr husband’s son interact, Willy still felt a bit puzzled, took off his hat, and warmly called Xi Zelie, “Lielie.”
“You’re back?” Xi Zelie put down the coffee cup, stood up, and perford a royal etiquette of Country W.
Willy hurriedly supported him, “We’re family, no need for all this. Sit down quickly.”
After pressing Xi Zelie to sit down, he asked the servant to make him a cup of coffee as well, then looked at Xi Zelie with curiosity and asked, “Lielie, what was so urgent that you called ?”
This was the first ti Xi Zelie had called him. Knowing Xi Zelie’s personality, if there was nothing urgent, he would never call him to return.
From the mont he brought Scarlett back, Xi Zelie had no intention of hiding anything for Scarlett. He recounted what Scarlett had done right in front of Prince William.
Initially, Prince William couldn’t believe his ears, but with basic judgnt ability, he knew Xi Zelie wasn’t likely to lie to him. His face was full of rage as he slamd the table and shouted, “Call the Princess down for !”
