Roscoe paid no attention to her own condition, keeping her gaze fixed on Skye instead. At this mont, Skye was completely panicked. Discovering that her body had begun to calcify, she turned an anxious look toward Roscoe.

Roscoe raised one hand in front of herself.
Brilliant golden magical barriers wrapped around her body, blocking both the flying rubble and the incoming shockwaves.
Under the force of those vibrations, large amounts of dust rained down from the ceiling of the chamber.
"Skye!!"

Another deafening explosion rang out.
It was Jean.
The mont he sensed the noise and tremors, he smashed through the wall with a single punch without hesitation.
His massive figure strode rapidly into the chamber, his gaze sweeping across the surroundings in alert.
"Is it over?"
"No. She's losing control. Skye, calm down."
Roscoe walked directly in front of Skye, ignoring the vibrations radiating from her body. Looking into Skye's eyes, she gently tried to calm her.
"Yeah… calm down. I need to calm down."
With both Roscoe and Jean standing before her, Skye finally regained so confidence. She took a deep breath and quickly suppressed the loss of control caused by her emotional turmoil.
The vibrations disappeared.
The stone chamber gradually returned to silence.
"Well done. Congratulations, Skye. You've gained an incredible ability." Roscoe said, flashing a smile and giving Skye a thumbs-up once everything had stabilized.
"Haha… this feels amazing." Skye broke into a bright smile.
The power surging through her body was unbelievably strong.
It was just far too violent for now, and her control over it was still weak, so she tried her best to remain calm.
"The mission's over. We should leave." Jean opened the tal case in his hands.
Skye imdiately understood. She walked over to the stone pedestal, reached out, and closed the opened Obelisk, sealing the Terrigen Crystal back inside before placing it back into the tal case.
Jean shut the case and locked it securely.
"Go." Jean turned and left imdiately. Roscoe and Skye exchanged a glance before following behind him.
As they exited the stone chamber, they saw the dried corpse lying outside with its head smashed apart.
"He shouldn't have tried attacking after waiting for us to co out," Jean casually explained.
"Poor guy," Roscoe remarked, left with nothing to say.
The return trip was simple enough. Although the tunnels looked chaotic, like a giant maze, both Roscoe and Jean possessed photographic mory-level intellects.
Their spatial awareness was equally exceptional.
Unless the corridors themselves could move and reshape the terrain, getting lost was impossible.
Very quickly, the three of them returned to the bottom of the ventilation shaft. Jean suddenly leaped upward, his figure shooting straight up.
Roscoe wrapped an arm around Skye's waist and followed after him.
As soon as the three erged, the squad captain guarding the area imdiately ca forward.
"Sir!"
"The mission is complete. After this, locate the remaining ventilation shafts and seal them completely. Then dispatch soldiers underground for cleanup operations. They must wear protective suits, otherwise their minds will be controlled by whatever's down there."
Roscoe calmly issued the follow-up orders in an orderly manner.
"There should still be quite a few controlled people underground. If their physical condition is too poor, terminate them and recover their remains for burial."

Standing nearby, Roscoe asked with concern.
Even though they hadn't known each other for long, she genuinely cared about Skye.
More importantly, Skye would beco her comrade in the future.
"Excellent. The only issue is that her abilities are unstable and can lose control depending on her emotions. She needs to learn emotional control first. Otherwise, if she loses control, the resulting outburst of power could destroy this entire facility." The departnt head answered imdiately without hesitation.
"Will the serum injections affect her later on?"
"No. Her genes have already been rewritten and stabilized." The departnt head shook his head and answered with certainty.
