This was an exam.

The content of the answer sheet was to defeat Magneto.

Situations like this were very common in the military, a thod used to stir up competitive spirit.

Clearly, Reacher's words had worked.

The soldiers, whose desire for battle had already been extrely intense, were pushed completely to the peak.

Boom!!

A female warrior from the Raven Warband was the first to strike, her long, slender leg ruthlessly executing a sweeping kick. The vacuum violently churned as a green flying slash spanning dozens of ters wide was kicked outward, its speed astonishingly fast.

At this mont, Magneto was both shocked and furious. His anger had also climbed to its peak, and his killing intent surged. With no path of retreat left, and without Mystique Raven and Sabretooth Victor as burdens, he finally displayed the bearing that belonged to Magneto.

Boom!!!

The earth shook violently. Dense tal elents turned into particles and floated upward, finally forming a heavy tal shield.

Clang!

The flying slash unleashed by Tempest Kick slamd into the tal shield, yet it only carved a crack dozens of ters long across its surface.

It failed to pierce through completely.

The remaining soldiers either drew their weapons or charged straight at Magneto, and the great battle erupted in that instant.

...

At the sa ti.

Outside the Mirror Dinsion, in the real world.

The soldiers who had been injured by Magneto's electromagnetic impact were receiving Needy's treatnt.

Needy opened her hand. Under the force of her telekinesis, blood was drawn from an Astartes soldiers and condensed into dozens of blood-donation dandelions, which drifted down onto the soldiers.

In an instant, as ripples spread one after another, the soldiers quickly discovered that their injuries and pain had imdiately recovered.

"Leader!!"

When the soldiers saw the ability Needy used, their faces filled with fanaticism and excitent. After expressing their gratitude, they all turned their gazes toward Matthew.

To the soldiers, Matthew was mysterious.

They all knew that the BOSS they served was nad Matthew.

But Matthew was extrely mysterious. He had never t them before.

However, from the actions of the twenty to thirty Astartes and Raven Warband soldiers at the scene, they could guess Matthew's identity.

And so, one after another, they rose from the ground and knelt on one knee.

This was not standard military protocol.

In fact, ever since Matthew's power had grown, there had never been a unified regulation for showing him the highest respect.

Yet at this mont, the soldiers were overwheld with emotion and zeal. They could only offer what they believed was the greatest gesture of respect.

"Stand up. I am very fortunate to have brave soldiers like you following ."

Matthew had already understood the whole sequence of events. Toward these soldiers, who would rather die than yield and remained loyal to him, he was very gentle. He lightly raised his hand, and an invisible force controlled by mystic arts swept past.

It made the kneeling soldiers stand up beyond their control.

"BOSS." Bucky walked over and voiced what the other soldiers from the two warbands were thinking. "The Warband Commander probably don't have enough people, right? That's Magneto. How about we go help too?"

Bucky was not soone who particularly enjoyed fighting.

After being taken from Pierce by Matthew, having his brainwashing removed, and regaining his mories, he should have grown to hate conflict.

But Bucky was no longer the sa as before.

Like many of his comrades, he had found a new direction and motivation.

His desire to grow stronger was no less than anyone else's.

And Magneto was clearly an excellent target.

"No need to rush. We have guests arriving."

Matthew raised his head and looked toward the sky.

His action imdiately put the other soldiers on alert. They all followed their leader's gaze upward.

At first, nothing was clearly visible in the night sky.

But soon, all the soldiers sensed that sothing was wrong.

There was movent.

Sure enough, a hundred ters in the air, accompanied by an optical ripple, a sleek black fighter jet appeared out of thin air and hovered silently.

Vector nozzles and vertical thrusters. Very advanced technology," Bucky muttered.

As a soldier who had been friends with genius scientist Howard Stark during World War II, Bucky had so understanding of such technology. The theoretical concepts for these two technologies had existed even in his era.

The Technology Departnt was also researching them, and the Quinjet being developed by S.H.I.E.L.D. already incorporated both.

He hadn't expected to see a fighter jet that had already matured these technologies.

Whoever these people were, they carried significant weight.

Bucky's vigilance rose to the maximum.

Under everyone's watchful eyes, the rear cabin door of the fighter jet—which shared the sa design as the Blackbird—opened. A group of people slowly floated down from it.

They soon landed on the open street about ten ters away.

Their appearances were very distinct.

They wore black combat suits. There were both n and won, six people in total.

Leading them was a bald elderly man in a suit, seated in a wheelchair.

"X-n," Bucky said quietly, revealing their identity.

That was right. The ones who had arrived were the X-n, led by one of the mutant leaders, Professor X.

They were: Professor X, Wolverine Logan, Storm, Phoenix Jean Grey, Cyclops Scott, and Beast Hank.

First Magneto, and now the X-n.

Tonight really was lively enough.

On the surface, Bucky remained calm, but in truth, his alarm had already been raised to the maximum.

The others were still manageable. The main issue was Professor X. Bucky had learned about him before. This old man was one of the strongest telepaths in the world, as far as Bucky knew—perhaps even the strongest, without any "one of."

He could instantly invade another person's brain without them knowing, read their mories, and use the power of his mind to control them.

All of it was forced.

This kind of strategic-level ability, combined with Magneto, was what allowed the nations of the world to maintain a relatively peaceful attitude on the surface toward the mutant community.

Otherwise, if certain people stopped even pretending and openly persecuted mutants without restraint, it was entirely possible that Professor X and Magneto would join forces and give the world a mutant shock.

"Good evening, Professor."

"Good evening, Mr. Matthew."

As the X-n drew closer, the first thing they saw was Matthew, along with Bucky and Needy at his side, as well as twenty to thirty mbers of the Astartes and Raven Soldiers in black and red, and fifty ordinary soldiers.

Of course, there were also Mystique Raven, who had been restrained, and Sabretooth Victor, whose head had been crushed but was slowly restoring itself through his healing factor.

Sabretooth Victor's healing ability was weaker than Wolverine's.

But at the sa ti, he also belonged to the level of pseudo-immortality. He could survive being torn in half, having his heart dug out, or having claws stabbed through his brain. Even if his head was crushed, he could still repair it.

In terms of self-healing, he was undoubtedly one of the top in the Marvel universe.

However, Victor was not feeling very confident about his proud healing ability right now.

Just the sight of the two Warband glaring at him like prey was enough to make him behave obediently, let alone the presence of Matthew, which filled him with even greater dread.
