Jiang Chen raised an eyebrow and said softly, "Are you saying this auction is organized by Pang Guang?"
The man glared at Jiang Chen and snapped, "Kid, stay out of this. You’re just a little Divine Infant Realm brat, intruding on my conversation with the Warlord. Do you want to die?"
Jiang Chen was montarily stunned, a hint of amusent erging in his eyes, and turned to look at Yan Li.
"Do you want to die?"
Yan Li’s expression changed, and he smiled awkwardly at Jiang Chen before turning and glaring at the man: "This is Mr. Jiang, the Array Master we invited. Apologize to Mr. Jiang!"
"Array Master?!"
The man was taken aback. He had been mixing in the Ruins Plains for many years and knew very well the significant role an Array Master plays during a Necrotic Tide. Even a Divine Infant Array Master at this ti is far more useful than a Virtual Refinent Realm Peak expert. He was only at the mid-stage of the Virtual Refinent Realm himself and couldn’t compare.
"Hehehe, Brother Jiang, forgive my offense, I hope you won’t mind!"
The man cupped his fists and bowed to Jiang Chen with a sheepish grin.
"It’s alright. Do you know which trading town Pang Guang is in?"
Jiang Chen waved his hand and replied with a light smile.
"Right in our town, inside the auction house. Does Brother Jiang know Pang Guang?"
The man pointed inside the town, speaking curiously.
Following the man’s direction, Jiang Chen observed a place different from the trading town on the outskirts. Here, a broad circular-dod building stood out, presumably the Canghai Trade Alliance’s auction house.
"He’s my friend. Since he’s here, we should go see him."
Jiang Chen nodded in response and turned to Yan Li.
"Your friend is our Wind Thunder Valley friend, of course we should go see him."
Yan Li spoke lightly with a smile.
The man beside them paused for a mont. Yan Li’s words seed rely polite, but he understood the profound significance; this indicated Jiang Chen was a friend of Wind Thunder Valley, not just a partner in cooperation.
"Let’s go!"
Jiang Chen gestured and stepped into the town, followed by Yan Li and the other two.
The sight made the man stiffen again, eyes filled with surprise: "Whoa, Yan Li, the Warlord walks behind Brother Jiang? And...why does it seem like Jiang Chen holds the most sway among them? What’s going on here? Surely a Divine Infant Realm Array Master wouldn’t warrant such respect from the Warlord?"
After pondering unsuccessfully for a mont, the man resud collecting entrance fees but rembered Jiang Chen.
Once Jiang Chen and his companions entered the town, they headed straight to the auction house entrance.
"Are you here to auction items or to purchase tonight’s auction item list?"
A man standing at the auction house entrance approached Jiang Chen and company.

After a while, hurried footsteps sounded from within the auction house, and Jiang Chen smiled slightly.
"Brother Jiang, what brings you to the Ruins Plains?"
Pang Guang exited the auction house, delightedly looking at Jiang Chen.
"For so training."
Jiang Chen replied with a smile.
"Please co inside, everybody. Brother Jiang, perfect timing. There are people inside asking about you."
Pang Guang smiled at Yan Li and the others, pulling Jiang Chen into the auction house.
"Soone’s asking about ? Who is it?"
Jiang Chen was slightly taken aback, looking at Pang Guang curiously.
"You’ll find out when you et them. Two groups, actually. I’ll take you to the one you’re sure to want to et first."
Pang Guang gave a mysterious smile and stepped towards the stairs.
"Two groups?"
Jiang Chen raised an eyebrow: "If they’re enemies, I might have so guesses. For those I want to et, I’m really at a loss."
Pang Guang said no more, leading the way. Jiang Chen followed, filled with curiosity.
They arrived on the third floor, composed of sealed rooms. As they ca up, a man cloaked in black erged from one room.
After cautiously surveying Jiang Chen and his companions, the man turned his piercing gaze to Pang Guang.
"Rest assured, they’re friends of mine. We promised not to disclose any information, and we won’t betray that promise."
Pang Guang explained lightly to the cloaked man.
The man nodded, cast another cautious glance at Jiang Chen and his companions, and descended the stairs.
"An auctioner."
After the man went down, Pang Guang explained to Jiang Chen with a light laugh, bringing everyone to a room entrance.
"This is a lounge. There are people inside you would definitely love to et!"
With a mysterious smile, Pang Guang knocked on the lounge door.

"Zhuo Bufan, didn’t you say you mix well in the Ruins Plains? Didn’t you claim to know the Eight Villages people? How co you haven’t found Brother Jiang yet? If sothing happens to Brother Jiang, I’ll gobble you up!"
The door barely opened, yet before any figures erged, an innocent voice of complaint rang out.

Jiang Chen’s eyes brightened, a joyful expression appearing on his face.
A shadow erged from the doorway, eyes full of confusion. Seeing Jiang Chen at the entrance, the shadow enthusiastically shouted, "Junior Brother?!"
"Senior Brother!"
Jiang Chen also shouted excitedly.
"Yun Tao, if you dare deceive , you’re finished!"
An eager cry sounded, and a petite figure directly bumped Yun Tao out of the way, diving toward Jiang Chen: "Brother Jiang!"
"Haha, Ling’er."
Jiang Chen embraced Mu Ling’er and laughed heartily.
"Jiang Chen!"
"Is it really you?"
"Oh, finally found you!"
"You rascal, leaving the academy without a word. Do you even consider us friends?"
A chorus of delighted cries and grumbling voiced by Lei Kai and the others swiftly gathered at the door.
