It had already been an hour, and I was surprised that President Michael hadn’t returned to ask about his daughter.
Irrespective of that, Anders had woken up, and the blood transfusion was over, since the bag of blood had finished.
I stood up and went to Anders.
After disconnecting the cannula from his forehand, I thought about healing his body with my light magic, since my light magic had gotten stronger.
Touching Anders’ head with my right hand, a bright yellow light enveloped my hand and Anders’ entire body.
The bandages that wrapped all parts of Anders’ external injuries fell from Anders’ body, revealing a perfectly healed body.
Anders looked so much better after I used my light magic on him. It was as if he didn’t get hurt in the first place.
"You can return to your human form". I removed my hand from his head and said this to him.
Anders was in a lying position on the sofa, so after he shifted into his human form, his body remained in a lying position.
Though he sat up on the sofa now that he was in his human form.
His human form looked alright, but his face was a little pale, making him look sick.
My right hand was placed on his head again as I concentrated my light magic to enter his entire body. When I let go of Anders’ head, he beca busy staring at his hands until a smile appeared on his face.
Seeing the bright look on his face after I had healed him, I knew that all this while, he had been managing to hold on while following , despite his wrecked body.
I should have healed him sooner.
But, I felt that he needed the blood transfusion first. One thing about my light magic is that it can heal, but it can’t heal all injuries.
Like, my light magic can’t replace stuff like blood transfusion and so other important aspects.
You know, my light magic can’t solve all things. What I realized about my light magic was that I could heal injuries, be it external injuries or internal injuries. But because my light magic hadn’t reached its peak in being strong, there was a limit to how much I could heal. Well, I was glad that I was able to heal Anders completely.
Out of curiosity, I went to the bedside. I tried using my light magic to heal Bella, but that didn’t work, just like I had expected.
There was still much more I needed to understand about my light magic.
Maybe if I figure out the cure for Bella’s sickness, I may be able to fasten the healing process using my light magic.
I grabbed the syringe that was on the table.
"Three of you, make sure you follow ". I said to Fireball, Irving and Anders as I left the vip ward before them.
Even before I stepped out of the vip ward, I sensed the bodyguards’ presence.
"Where are-".
"Don’t follow . I don’t need any distraction". Without bothering to even spare a glance at the bodyguard’s face, I said to him as I walked past him and his fellow bodyguards.

7 hours later,
It was late evening, and I was sweating so much that it seed as if soone had poured water on .
I have been inside the research room for many hours trying to figure out the cause of Bella’s sickness. Ever since the mont I stepped into the research room, I haven’t stepped out.
I was starving, and I knew that not only was starving. Anders, Fireball and Irving were starving too.
Fireball and Irving were gloomy.
They had owed endlessly at , but I wasn’t ready to leave this research room until I had figured out the cause of Bella’s sickness and the cure to it.
Anders, who was sitting at a corner with Fireball and Irving, didn’t utter a single complaint, and I knew that he was starving too.
But surprisingly, it seed like Fireball and Irving liked Anders. They are oddly comfortable around him.
’You should wrap this up and continue tomorrow, Clara. Stop being stubborn. Our body needs food and rest’. Elektra said to , but I felt bad for her because I knew I wasn’t going to listen to her.
Not now that I have gotten so much closer in my research.
A few more minutes passed and my eyes widened. "No way". I said.
’What is it, Clara? Have you finally figured sothing out?’. Elektra asked .
"Just give a second". I replied to Elektra and dashed out of the research room.
As I looked behind , I saw that Fireball, Irving and Anders were following as expected, and they looked like lifeless zombies. They shouldn’t get angry with . If we leave the hospital, I would buy for them a massive al they would not be able to finish.
We returned to the vip ward where Bella was. The bodyguards weren’t standing guard outside the vip ward anymore. I pushed the door to the vip ward open and entered the room.
I saw that a single seater sofa was positioned next to the bedside and President Michael was sitting on it.
His elbows were on his laps and his palms covered his face. He had to remove his palms from his face and look at .
"Alpha Anastasia". He said my na before he turned his face away from .
But, I had already seen it. His red eyes. He has been crying.
Ignoring President Michael, I went to Bella and began to inspect her body and lifted so parts of her clothes.
"Wh- what are you doing to my daughter?". President Michael asked when he saw what I was doing.
I completely ignored him and continued what I was doing. In the end, I found it.
On Bella’s left leg, I found a strange bite mark. With certainty, I knew that this strange bite mark was the cause of Bella’s agonizing health issue.
But, I have never seen such a bite mark in my entire life. What the heck is this?
