Chapter 300

Contrary to what Ray thought, the boat wasn’t completed in ti.

By the ti Trisha was done, it was drawing closer to nightti.

Though Ray and Chloe had helped wherever they deed fit, Trisha did all the heavy lifting as she was the one who knew what she was doing. Which was why it took so long.

So they quickly hid the now completed boat and rushed towards a hill in ti before the beasts began pouring out as usual.

Unfortunately, they had no at to eat, hence they just sat at the edge of the hill staring straight ahead.

"So by tomorrow, we really doing this?" Chloe questioned once again.

"If you want to remain here on this land, you can definitely stay. Nobody is stopping you." Ray frowned at the constant questioning.

Chloe just shook her head and sighed, then continued observing.

Recalling how hard they worked on the boat, Ray felt like the hassle to get the materials was worth it.

His lasso had been used to tie everything together into one beautiful, disjointed piece and keep them from falling apart.

Currently, none of them had their jackets with them, as they had turned them into a sail being held up by the horns of the Earth Shakers.

Even the Earth Shaker’s armor was turned into a steering wheel for the boat, with the hull made from scratch from the Carapace Spiders.

Trisha had worked so hard on that without taking a break whatsoever.

"Where did you even learn how to build a boat?" Ray asked, genuinely curious.

"..."

"Back when I lived with my family. We learnt a lot of survival courses here and there."

That was it. She stopped talking.

"So... when do we leave?" Chloe questioned as she looked back at Ray.

"The mont the King-rank beasts begin running back to their shelter."

And that was it; they waited together anxiously for the morning.

The morning that would co with their escape from this world.

.....

The mont the sun was seen peeking upward, the King-rank beasts began rushing away for their shelter while the dark sea began surging and moving furiously.

Watching as the beasts ran from their vantage point, as soon as the last beast passed by the cliff they nested on, the trio hurriedly prepared to descend.

In order to be faster, Chloe used her telekinetic ability to drag herself and Trisha quickly, while Ray shaped his hands into claws and began climbing down with impressive agility.

Within three minutes, the trio had already touched down.

Dashing towards where they had kept their boat, Ray flexed his muscles and began pushing.

The ground was rough and uneven, so it was unsurprisingly hard to push the boat towards the sea, so Chloe helped here and there with her ability—careful not to overexert herself because their survival and the crossing of the sea mainly depended on her.

Trisha couldn’t help because her role was simple.

Protect the duo from the preying scythes of the Advanced-rank beasts that were around the valley.

Gripping her sword tightly while her eyes actively scanned the area, she was ready for anything as she stood solidly behind the duo.

With his monstrous strength, pushing the boat wasn’t even hard at all.

With Chloe now helping, it was even faster, and the estimated arrival to the edge of the sea was about five minutes.

It wasn’t smooth pushing, though.

So Advanced-rank beasts were imdiately alerted because of how loud the boat was against the ground.

It was like sharpening a sword against a stone.

Unfortunately for them, they were falling to Trisha’s sword and those that got past her were imdiately blasted away by Ray’s foot.

This went on for a few minutes until the boat touched the edge of the sea.

Ray and Trisha jumped into the boat simultaneously with Chloe thrusting her hands forward and sending a telekinetic blast into the jackets acting like the sail and almost imdiately, the boat creaked and began rolling into the waters.

The Tribrid gulped loudly as he felt the boat touch the water.

Quickly using her ability on herself too, Chloe landed into the boat as it set sail with nice montum.

"Uh... I don’t like this one bit," Ray uttered as he could feel sothing creeping up the side of his neck.

Trisha dashed towards the steering wheel and began controlling the boat forward while Chloe boosted the sails with her ability.

And just like that, within ten minutes, they were fast leaving Hill Valley while the dark sea was surging violently like it always did.

Ray had thought that the mont they entered the waters, sothing would happen but so far, so good.

Nothing had happened as they kept sailing away with decent speed.

So far, five minutes had passed and they were nearing the center of the sea.

’Maybe... maybe I was wro—?!’

BAM!

Imdiately, sothing collided with the hull of the ship with trendous force that the trio were thrown off their feet and crashed into the boat.

The sea surged with vengeful wrath as it boiled like water in a pot on fire.

Their boat was beginning to bounce and crash on the sea as it lifted and threw them like they were toys.

"Damn it. Damn it. Damn it. What is this?!"

Trisha didn’t fret.

She imdiately darted towards the steering wheel and grabbed a hold of it.

Spinning it around with all her might, the boat spun around and was about to veer away from the storm when sothing suddenly gripped the boat with crushing strength, stopping it from moving an inch.

Before they could say or do anything, water suddenly shot into the air, hovering above them and within a second, the water crashed onto them and with it ca... ca... ca....

Ray’s eyes widened as a long, thick purple tentacle crashed onto the boat and wrapped around it firmly, unwilling to let go.

’Damn my luck! My luck is fucking bad!’

Trisha clutched her sword and was about bolting towards the tentacle when her legs slipped as the tentacle put all its strength onto the boat and instantly shattered it, sending the trio plumting into the sea.

"Ahhh! Fuck."

SPLASH!

The trio smashed into the body of water and instantly, Ray’s incredible vision was snatched.

And one more thing.

His leg was snatched too by a gross tentacle which yanked him into the water.

It wasn’t only him; Trisha and Chloe were yanked deeper into the water while the boy flailed and crashed against the water.

’Fuck. I can’t still swim!’
