And now, he has lost to my Genjutsu once again.
But hey, at least I only put you to sleep.
I'm not like that violent girl who loves throwing Demonic Illusion: Shackling Stakes Technique every chance she gets.
This technique is so brutal that you will feel physical pain even after dispelling the Genjutsu, if you can dispel it, that is.
At least, I gave you a chance to enjoy a sound sleep and good dreams…😇😇
Seii lampooned inwardly as he witnessed the dical team carrying the still-sleeping Shimura Hoka lying motionlessly on a stretcher.
This guy even had the leisure to drool while sleeping, and he had a weird smile on his face.
Who knew what this Shimura guy was dreaming?
Was he dreaming of becoming Hokage and ordering everyone around in Konoha, including the Sarutobi clan?
No, no…how could it be?
Not every Shimura was a Danzo.
As Seii was imrsed in his inner world, he finally heard the referee speak once again, pulling him out of his inner monologue.
"Team 4-S, please send your next participant," said the referee.
And after about one minute, Seii was standing in front of his next opponent from Team 4-S.
His opponent's na was Abura Kosuki, the sa participant whom Ishimori Haneda defeated during the group stages.
Honestly, Seii still had a tough ti understanding how the ancestors of the Abura clan even thought about nurturing insects and creating a whole bunch of Ninjutsu around them.
The Abura clan rose to prominence before the Warring States Period.
Seii understood that to stand out and create a clan that could last long, the ancestors of various non-bloodline Shinobi clans were forced to brainstorm and create unique secret techniques.
For example, the shadow-related Ninjutsu of the Nara clan or the mind-related Ninjutsu of the Yamanaka clan.
But still…how could you even think about adding insects to your arsenal?
If possible, Seii really wanted to go back in ti and crack open the skull of the Abura clan ancestors who created all sorts of insect breeding, nurturing, and insect-related ninja techniques.
Seii suddenly thought of a strange scene.
**Seii's Imaginary Scene**
In a dark, solemn setting, where a flickering candle in the middle of the table was the only source of light, several ancestors of renowned Shinobi clans were sitting at the table, discussing what kind of secret techniques they could create.
Nara clan ancestor: I want to capture the special deer we breed without harming them. So, I will develop a Ninjutsu that stealthily binds animals and people using their shadow.
Yamanaka clan ancestor: My friend, I will help you with this endeavor. To make your job easier, I will create a Ninjutsu that completely takes over the minds of those deer. This way, I can control those deer and bring even more deer together, so you can bind them all at once.
Akimichi clan ancestor: I don't know, man. I only specialize in Yang Release. I will probably create sothing that makes stronger the chubbier I get.
Sarutobi clan ancestor: You are just looking for ways to justify getting fat, aren't you?
Akimichi clan ancestor: Mind your words. I'm just chubby, not fat. And why are you here? Don't you guys already specialize in summoning monkeys (Saru = monkey)?
Sarutobi clan ancestor: Yes, but we need sothing more. I think I will create a large arsenal of Fire Release techniques and develop so compound Ninjutsu.
Shimura clan ancestor: You're stretching yourself too thin. You will regret it, Sarutobi. I will focus on stealing…cough cough…creating a few deadly Wind Release techniques.
Yuhi clan ancestor: I will create a lot of new Genjutsu and beco the most prominent Genjutsu clan in the Land of Fire.
Uchiha clan ancestor: Hmm?
Yuhi clan ancestor: Ahem…I an, we will beco the second most prominent Genjutsu clan.
Kurama clan ancestor: Do we look like a joke to you?
Yuhi clan ancestor: I admit, your clan's illusion-based Kekkei Genkai is powerful. It can turn many illusions into reality. But tell , can this power compare to us when your clansn awaken this bloodline only once every few generations? Just admit defeat.
anwhile, the Abura clan ancestor, with extrely low presence, who was silent until now, finally spoke up.
Abura clan ancestor: Bugs…
This sound startled everyone sitting at the table.
Uchiha clan ancestor: Fuck! That scared . When did you co here, Abura?
Abura clan ancestor: I was always here. And I ca here first.
Yuhi clan ancestor: For real? Did you cast a Genjutsu? I didn't notice you at all.
Abura clan ancestor:...No. I was just sitting here.
Everyone else:....
Abura clan ancestor: Bugs are beautiful. Bugs are diverse. Bugs are incredible.

Abura clan ancestor: Everybody in this world should feel and understand the might of bugs.

Abura clan ancestor: I have decided to nurture bugs, take care of bugs, breed new bugs, and create Shinobi arts related to bugs.

**Seii's Imaginary Scene Ends**
What else could Seii say?
This Abura clan…their ancestors were really…innovative!
Sensing the insects gathered all around the body of Abura Kosuki, Seii couldn't help but blurt out.
"So it's you, Bug Man."
Hearing this, Abura Kosuki's face darkened. His forehead was filled with imaginary black lines.
If it were an ani, Seii could probably even see throbbing veins pop out on Kosuki's forehead.
However, like most Abura clan mbers, Kosuki was also kind of an introverted person.
So, he didn't say anything.
But he secretly planned to let Seii enjoy the deluxe bug treatnt.
"The second individual match between Senju Seii Vs. Abura Kosuki."
The voice of the referee echoed throughout the stadium once again, making Seii and Kosuki halt their random thoughts and focus on each other.
Seii activated his Tenseigan once again, ready to detect, identify, and defend against weird bugs.
"Now…BEGINS!"
With the referee's final declaration, the match between Seii and Kosuki officially began.
"Seii. Today, I will let you witness the power of my cute bugs," said Abura Kosuki as he was getting ready to cast his clan's secret insect Ninjutsu.
"No, thanks!"
Seii responded, and his figure disappeared from the spot as he flickered toward Kosuki.
Seii didn't want to deal with hundreds of thousands of buzzing insects. Just thinking about them made his skin crawl, causing goosebumps to appear all around his body.
So, he decided to end this battle soon, without giving Kosuki any chance to counterattack.
Seii appeared three ters away from Kosuki, quickly perford three single-handed hand seals, and unleashed his Ninjutsu before Kosuki could even register his moves.
Lightning Release: Chidori Stream
A large amount of lightning chakra gathered around Seii's right hand before countless arcs of powerful lightning bolts quickly spread around Seii, covering the area within a radius of 45 ters.
Chirp~ Chirp~
Crackle~
The sound of a thousand birds chirping echoed throughout the stadium as countless wild arcs of lightning danced around the effective area.
"Aaahhhhhhhhhh"
Abura Kosuki wanted to retreat and avoid the lightning arcs. Unfortunately, the lightning bolts generated by the Chidori Stream were too fast for him to react.
His entire body was engulfed in lightning, which paralyzed him. Lightning bolts tore his skin, causing blood to flow out, all while charring the external blood, skin, and muscles.
Kosuki couldn't help but scream as unbearable pain assaulted him.
Fortunately, Seii controlled the intensity of the lightning bolts. Otherwise, Abura Kosuki would have turned into a pitch-black, electrocuted corpse within seconds.
And his beloved insects?
All of them died while making strange popping sounds as soon as the lightning arcs hit them.
Although the dazzling lightning show looked beautiful, its effect was equally deadly.
When Seii retracted his Ninjutsu, only Abura Kosuki's charred, convulsing body remained on the field.
The scene was brutal. Way too brutal.
"Ah! I probably went a bit overboard," Seii muttered to himself in a low voice as he saw the aftermath of his Ninjutsu.
The referee watched Seii with a blank expression for a second before declaring him the victor.
Then, he called for the dical team to quickly take Abura Kosuki away and begin his treatnt.
Fortunately, Seii controlled his Jutsu well, and the injuries Kosuki sustained were only superficial, despite being incredibly painful.
He should fully recover within a week.
Should I hold back a little more?
Seii reflected inwardly as he waited for his final opponent in the individual match stage.
