This technique was extrely unique.
It not only allowed Ogerpon to instantly change her type and ability, but through a special rhythm, it could briefly stack those enhancents together.
Yes—together.
Defiant, Water Absorb, Mold Breaker, Sturdy.
Before one ability faded, the next had already taken effect.
Because the switching speed was so fast, the four abilities were almost layered onto Ogerpon simultaneously.
Ogerpon felt delighted.
This fighting style had been proposed by Sora not long ago, and she had been training to adapt to it ever since.
However, without suitable opponents, no amount of practice was more than theory.
Only in a high-intensity battle—one that demanded total focus and complete ntal concentration—could it truly be mastered.
Smack!
Soon after, with the fall of the final Ivy Cudgel, the last Pokémon still standing collapsed to the ground.
Thus, Ogerpon's battle against twelve Pokémon—each averaging around level 50—ca to an end.
She won.
And it was a complete domination.
She hadn't taken a single hit.
Not even the edge of her clothing had been touched.
Under normal circumstances, such a result would be impossible.
But Ogerpon's chanics and raw stats were simply too outrageous.
Once her Ivy Cudgel struck a vital point, there was no such thing as "toughing it out."
The body's self-preservation instinct reacted faster than conscious thought.
Before the target could grit its teeth and endure, its awareness would plunge into darkness—instantly losing the ability to battle.
Most of the Pokémon present had already tasted that strike once before.
They had thought it was absurd then.
Getting hit a second ti erased any lingering desire to challenge Ogerpon again.
Just think of Pecharunt.
After experiencing the terror of the cudgel, it had spent centuries hiding inside a peach, unable to escape the psychological shadow.
Beep. Beep. Beep.
High above, unnoticed by Ogerpon and Buneary, a drone hovered in the sky, recording everything happening below.
Far away, inside a tower in the royal capital of the Azoth Kingdom, a girl wearing a fitted noble outfit—her golden hair styled into twin buns—stared at the transmitted footage in astonishnt.
"She's… so strong."
The girl's na was Princess Kimia, the princess of the Azoth Kingdom.
"What kind of Pokémon is that?"
"And that move that changes colors… like a stick—what is it?"
Kimia was not only royalty but also an excellent Trainer, with strength comparable to an ordinary Gym Leader.
Yet even with her trained eye, she could not determine Ogerpon's exact nature.
The only conclusion she could reach was simple:
Ogerpon was powerful—unbelievably powerful.
"Ponii…"
On the other side, Ogerpon dismissed her cudgels and stretched her limbs, quite satisfied with the warm-up.
She had to admit—the lords and bosses of the Nebel Plateau were not weak.
With twelve of them attacking together, she had almost been hit once or twice.
Unfortunately, the gap between them was simply too large.
And Ogerpon was the type who specialized more in offense than defense or endurance.
If it had been Volcanion instead— its attacks might injure opponents, but they would not instantly knock them unconscious.
Pokémon possessed trendous resilience.
As long as they could still fight, they would not retreat.
Even if Volcanion ultimately defeated them all, it would likely suffer significant injuries.
Sotis, sheer numbers really could overwhelm even the strongest.
"Ponii?"
Suddenly, Ogerpon felt sothing watching her.
She looked around—and quickly spotted the drone flying in the sky.
She had never seen such a device before and assud it was so unfamiliar Pokémon.
"Uh-oh… I've been noticed!"
On the screen, Ogerpon's gaze t Princess Kimia's.
The princess had expected Ogerpon to knock the drone out of the sky.
Instead—
Ogerpon ignored it completely.
She simply walked over to the defeated Pokémon and began speaking to them.
"You lost."
"According to our agreent, from here until we find Volcanion, you all have to help."
Her demand wasn't unreasonable.
And Pokémon were creatures that valued promises.
Once they agreed to sothing, they would follow through.
Thus, surrounded by the twelve defeated leaders, more and more Pokémon joined their procession.
The massive movent quickly drew attention across forests and mountains.
New leaders appeared along the way to block them.
Fortunately, the local bosses stepped forward and explained:
Ogerpon was heading to challenge Volcanion.
That clarification prevented many unnecessary conflicts.
Of course, so battle-hungry Pokémon still wanted to test her strength.
But they were stopped by Delphox and Pangoro.
"She defeated all of you by herself?"
After hearing Ogerpon's record, many challengers imdiately lost their nerve.
And those who still insisted were dealt with by the other leaders.
"If all of us together couldn't win, you still want to challenge her?"
"What—do you think we're weak?"
Delphox and the others felt insulted.
They had already told everyone:
Big Sister is unstoppable.
You don't believe them?
What does that an—calling them liars?
Pokémon rarely lied.
In fact, they barely understood the concept of lying at all.
So in their view, anyone who wanted to challenge Ogerpon had to defeat them first.
If you couldn't even beat them, what right did you have to face her?
And that was exactly what Ogerpon and Buneary wanted.
Whether newcors believed the story or not, the path ahead remained clear.
Ogerpon no longer had to stop for battles.
At last, they arrived at the mountaintop lake that Pangoro had ntioned.
"This…"
Princess Kimia stared at the scene unfolding before her, montarily speechless.
Pokémon were gathering in huge numbers.
Weak ones.
Strong ones.
Solitary ones.
Entire families.
Hundreds—perhaps thousands—surrounded the lake until it was completely packed.
Even the nearby forest was filling with spectators drawn by the spectacle.
