Sister-in-law! Again with the sister-in-law!
Who acknowledges that woman as sister-in-law!
Evelyn Taylor shouted this in her heart at Easton Hols, but on the surface, she showed no strong reaction and didn’t respond out loud.
"Grandfather!"
After opening the door and entering the house, Evelyn Taylor shouted towards the direction of the living room.
Easton Hols withdrew his hand, which was tugging at Evelyn Taylor’s sleeve, and strode into the living room with the nutrition products she had bought, regardless of whether she was following him or not.
Seeing this, Evelyn Taylor quickly followed. By the ti she caught up, Easton Hols had already entered the living room and was walking towards Callix Linton, who was sitting on the sofa. She imdiately followed him.
"Grandfather! I’ve co to see you."
Before Evelyn Taylor even reached him, her voice had already rung out.
Callix Linton wasn’t the least bit visually impaired; he had seen her the mont she started walking over.
"Evelyn! I was wondering who it was. You haven’t been here for quite so ti." Redirecting his gaze, Callix Linton looked at Easton Hols, "Where’s Lily?"
As he asked, his eyes turned towards the door, but he didn’t see that tall figure, and a flash of worry crossed his eyes.
"She’s waiting for outside."
Easton Hols noticed the flash of worry in Callix Linton’s eyes. Placing the nutrition products on the coffee table, he turned and started to walk outside, "Grandfather! I’m going out to find Lily."
With those words, he had already taken several steps.
Seeing this, Evelyn Taylor quickly chased after him, grabbing Easton Hols by the wrist as he was preparing to go out and find Lily Turner, "Easton! Where are you going?"
She gripped his wrist tightly with both hands. Today, she had co here just to find him; visiting his grandfather was rely an excuse.
"I’m going for a walk with your sister-in-law."
Easton Hols pried open the two hands clutching him, and left the living room without a backward glance.
Evelyn Taylor lifted her foot to chase after him, but she had just taken a step when Callix Linton called out to her, "Evelyn! Co sit down!"
Upon hearing this, Evelyn Taylor had to halt her steps. After casting a deep glance in the direction Easton Hols had left, she turned and walked slowly towards Callix Linton.
"Grandfather! It’s been a while since I’ve visited you. Are you well?" Evelyn Taylor took a seat not far from Callix Linton, verbally expressing concern for him, though her heart had already left with Easton Hols.
Callix Linton’s mind was as clear as a mirror; he had always known who Evelyn Taylor really intended to visit, but he chose not to expose her intentions.
"I’m doing very well now, my teeth are good, my appetite is great, and my mood is even better." He was eagerly looking forward to holding plump great-grandchildren, and just thinking about those chubby little ones made him particularly happy.
"And how about you? Do you have a boyfriend?"
Callix Linton’s eyes remained fixed on Evelyn Taylor, his face displaying a kind smile.
At his words, Evelyn Taylor paused for a mont, then shook her head, "I don’t have a boyfriend yet."
When she thought about the man she had loved for so many years being taken away by soone else, her heart ached as if pierced by needles.
In her heart, she swore secretly that she would definitely win back the man she loved.
"Such a pretty young girl, how could you possibly not have a boyfriend? Don’t be too picky."
Callix Linton was implying that Evelyn should not harbor any fantasies about his grandson Easton Hols, who already had a beautiful and kind wife.
At first, Evelyn Taylor didn’t catch the hidden aning in Callix Linton’s words, but soon she realized it and replied very pointedly, "I can’t help it; I’m just that picky."
