Due to Callix Linton’s tily intervention, Lily Turner and Easton Hols left the living room without any hindrance and headed upstairs smoothly.
"You..."
As soon as they entered the room, Easton Hols pushed Lily Turner against the wall by the door, startling her as she was caught off guard.
She instinctively pressed her hands against his chest, preventing him from further actions, as the two uninvited guests downstairs might co up at any mont, and she didn’t want to give them more to talk about.
"How many things are you still hiding from ?"
If he hadn’t overheard by accident earlier, he wouldn’t have known that she was forced by his mother to take the dication. Easton Hols stared straight at Lily Turner, his presence overwhelming.
Asking a question with such a commotion, was he trying to scare her to death?
Lily Turner thought Easton Hols was going to punish her in his own unique way, but the result surprised her. However, she was only briefly surprised before quickly returning to her normal state, facing his imposing presence.
"Do you want the truth or a lie?" she confronted him fearlessly, her beautiful face showing no extra expression.
"Of course, the truth," Easton Hols blurted out without any hesitation.
Lily Turner anticipated this answer, and her deanor remained unfazed, calm as ever, "If you want the truth, you’ll have to back away a bit. In this position, I can’t tell you the truth."
What she ant was that she couldn’t tell the truth, not that she couldn’t speak at all.
"Nonsense! Just say it as you are."
Easton Hols didn’t move according to Lily Turner’s request, staying right where he was in front of her.
Seeing this, Lily Turner glared in dissatisfaction, "I told you, I can’t say the truth like this."
Worried that what she might say would upset him, she had to consider her own safety.
"Why do you have so many issues?"
After staring at Lily Turner for a mont, Easton Hols straightened up, but he didn’t withdraw his arms, still propped up on either side of her body.
Lily Turner looked at the arms propped up on either side of her, finally shifting her gaze to their owner, "That’s because I’m being forced."
She decided in her heart that she wouldn’t speak unless he gave her freedom, not believing he would resort to physical interrogation.
"Did I force you?"
Easton Hols felt that Lily Turner was beating around the bush, with no intention of telling him the truth. He stopped arguing over these trivial matters, pulling her into his arms. "Are you going to speak or not?"
At this mont, his deanor suggested he would devour her if she didn’t speak.
"I’ll speak!"
Although he wouldn’t admit it, he was indeed pressuring her, and his actions weren’t just to amuse her.
This guy was getting more and more excessive, treating her as a soft persimmon he could squeeze at any ti, and she couldn’t say anything about it. Otherwise, he would squeeze harder.
Lily Turner clenched her teeth and glared at Easton Hols. Then, unwilling to let it go, she spoke up, "You’re so clever, I think you should be able to guess."
Though she spoke in anger, her words truly reflected her thoughts. With his intelligence, she believed he could guess it.
Easton Hols didn’t expect Lily Turner to respond in this way, and he was visibly surprised for a mont, but he didn’t let the expression linger on his face for long.
"I don’t want to guess right now. I want you to tell directly." While he could figure so things out imdiately, others required more ti.
